Chapter 187: Almond Blossoms

Lehi was still imerged from Uni's incident that it did not occur to her that the two of them got welcomed by Asno. Ophir greeted Asno as Lehi remain unresponsive. Her thoughts are preoccupied about Uni. Lehi exactly witnessed how Uni save her. Lehi's question remained unanswered. She was so caught by her own world that it bothered and worried Asno and Ophir.

Ophir enlaced his fingers with her and whispered.

"If you wont hold it together. This will lead us to nowhere."

Lehi let Ophir's word echoes within her mind. She blinked her eyes and stood up.

"I.. I need some fresh air." Lehi excused as she stood up and exited the door.

Asno halted Ophir who was about to trail Lehi and said.

"How about you prepare something good for us? You can freely use my kitchen."

Ophir gazes at Lehi and agreed to do the cooking.

When Asno heared about the issue with Cyrus. Asno cried, Ophir is her student and she does not wish to see his marriage got in disarray. Aside from that, Asno is a fan of the two ever since she attended their wedding. Asno cannot put a finger if the diffeciency is from each person or is it their way of dealing things. Asno needs to confirm more of it and instantly informed Cyprus for a week leave for the two.

Cyprus and Kiel returned to hear about the detail they found out from Dorothy's past. When Cyprus tried to review his own memory with the woman. He was uncertain if it really occured that he noticed her perks and quirks. Cyprus ask for the list that was drafted by Nevi and remembered something.

"I remember something. She used to say that she planned to annihilate the village where she was born. I bet we need to send people there just to prevent something that is more dangerous. I also recalled that she is a wizard that was involved with the tsunami that happened when we were thirteen. At a young age she participated in a dangerous venture. That is why when we met after I got offered from the occult we got along well. Since she is smart and powerful."

Natalina just kept taking notes of what was Cyprus talking while they are inside thier chamber.

"You surprisingly remembered a detail about her." Natalina commented.

Cyprus suddenly got reminded that he is discussing another woman with his wife.

"I... I... sorry." Was the only words said by Cyprus.

Natalina tilt her head and said.

"It's fine, go ahead. I was just surprised that despite your age your memory is kind of strong or reliable.. I should say."

Cyprus defended that his age has nothing to do with their current issue.

The two pull an all nighter and drifted by dawn.

Kiel woke up crying in the middle of the night, ever since the visit and renovation they did at Wercy's ghost town. He's been feeling heavy and sad. Kiel kept having this feeling that it was lonely for this people to die without being known and remembered.

Urchin woke up and was about to knock on his parent's door when Kiel opened the door.

" Papa, I am hungry."

Kiel laughed at how Urchin randomly get hungry.

"Okay, Let's get you something."

Kiel said as he carefully close the door and lifted his son unto the kitchen.

Lehi took in the view of vast flower. She shut her eyes to inhale the natural fragrance when she recalled what Uni said inside that cave.

"I have a piece that brought me here but at the same time it's the same piece that will take my life. If you ever get to tumble on it please keep it. I will have your name in that piece."

Lehi's eyes widen in realization.

Lehi called Kiel and let him know about what she remembered.

Lehi can now understand why the piece addressed her as a queen.

Asno joined her not long after and said.

"Did you know that this flower blossoms upon season?"

Lehi naturally looked at Asno and replied.

"That would be obvious right."

Asno nod at her and added.

"But rarely their are early and late bloomer."

Lehi swiftly agreed and just wanted to end the conversation to get back at El Oathniel.

"Cyrus said you'll be staying here for a week. So be true to enjoy it thoroughly or this will end roughly."

Asno said and invited her inside for the food.

Kiel collected the piece from Dorothy. She got jailed and levelled as one of the most dangerous wizard. When Gatsby and Cyprus escorted Dorothy toward her cell. It was oddly silent and surprisingly she is obedient. Cyprus and Gatsby locked her in but she just muttered a word.

" Omega Minus." [ subtracted end.]

Cyprus countered it instantly.

"āleph aleph." [Birth added.]

Gatsby noticed that Dorothy faded her breath and died bending her body backwards. Cyprus and Gatsby was unable to do anything and pronounce the woman dead. When Natalina heared of it she run toward the hall and to her nursery room. Her kids are currently sleeping when a strange smog led unto. the window. Natalina felt something strange.She burst in unto the room and found her first born floating mid air.

Natalina nullify the attacks coming from the smog with her silver. When the palace got alarmed by it. Natalina firmly held her son by building a protective ruby for the other two kids. Natalina run to catch her first son when her silver effectively severe the attack.

The explosion happened that made Cyprus and Gatsby got shaken. When Cyrpus recognised the direction. He started to look back and run toward the direction leaving the Gatsby to attend Dorothy's case. Natalina walled herself and son with her diamond and sapphire to prevent the kids from being hurt. When Natalina checked on her first son. A strange curvings are appearing in his body. Her baby started to cry as the scratch distributed on the baby's skin.

Right when the Tale Bearers gathered Natalina was trembling as she hold her crying son intimately.
