Taking down the Royal Prince

Raymond walked out of the courtroom angrily and went into his room , slamming the expensive wooden door, that the sound was heard in the whole palace . He took his lamp and throw it on the wall and as if not satisfied he took his China cup and throw it on the wall , which left the pieces on the floor.

Then as if he remembered something he took his bag and begin to pack, just then the door went open revealing the Queen mother.

"What did you think you're doing son" she asked angrily.

"Oh mom what does it look am doing, I am going of course . Why can't you understand I don't want to be king" He yelled still packing

" And why not " Maria asked looking sternly and angrily at her son

" Mom isn't it clear? I love Lucia and I want to be with her and also I love being a rock star l don't want to be king. why don't you give it to any of my cousin" He asked zipping his bag

" My son oh my son when will it be clear that Lucia is not good for you" She asked looking at her son angrily and eyeing the bag he is holding

"Well mom it may not be clear how I love her but I throughly love her mom and I expect you of all people to understand. He said frustrated.

" I understand son , I understand you're not with your senses " she yelled furiously at her son. But Raymond opened the door and step into the hallway with his mother behind him yelling at him to come to his senses

" you are not going anywhere, Ray it's either you stay or I cancelled the contract with Mr Churchill " A voice spoke sternly from behind which made Raymond turn towards the direction of the voice

"You can't do that to me father" He spat angrily

"Oh yes I can do that with only a call after all I am the king" luky said smirking which made Ray groan in frustration

"Dad you know how much that contract is going to fetch me, I... why are you guys doing this. I don't understand can't I live my life the way I want? He asked kicking his travel bag away with his left foot. Luky watch his action without flinching and smirk folding his hands to his chest

" Son no one is stopping you from living your life the way you please, what we only want from you is to be crowned the king.

"yeah but that will only ruin my life, what about my life, what about Lucia.

"it won't son . and about Lucia it is forbidden for you to marry outside the kingdom. look around son there are many girls who are willing to be your wife" Luky said patting his son on his back

"Dad I can't leave her, I love her" He said looking into his parents eyes, hoping they understand. But only silence met his confession. His parents stand looking at him still contemplating on what to say

"It okay son do as you wish" Luky said which made his wife turn sharply towards him but relieved Ray calm down and hug his dad and his furious mom pecking her on her cheek

"Thanks dad , Thanks mom".

" There's nothing to be thankful about Ray " she said glaring at her husband who gave her a sheepish smile before leaving. luky Pat his son fondly on his back and whisper before leaving.

" mama I don't want to get married I am happy with my single life" zona said as she walk out of their wooden cottage with a bundle of firewood on her hands . she carelessly throw the firewood on the ground.

"you should get married zona since you are my only child and a girl. Lord have mercy you are nineteen and unmarried? That's a bad sign zona , I need to see my great grandchildren" Lily said as she walk slowly towards the firewood and sit down as zona light it and place a huge pot with water on it.

"Goodness mama it not my fault that I am unmarried. No one wants to marry a tomboy who go on hunting ,something that is strictly for boys or a tomboy who goes around bullying people. she said with a sigh before looking at her grandma who is busy plucking vegetables from the stem.

" I think it's high time you start dressing as a girl" Lily said looking at her grandchild. she is indeed a very beautiful girl with long auburn hair which she shave at the other side which add to her tomboyish nature, slightly tanned skin, pink lips , long eyelashes which almost look artificial, huge sparkling blue eyes.

"see mama I love living with you and getting married will ruin my dreams of becoming a royal army" she said as she put the ingredients for soup in the pot on the fire. Lily gave her granddaughter a sharp look, she couldn't deny the fact she have a good martial arts skills but no one pray for their daughter to end up single.

"I hope your mother is not disappointed in her grave to see how I raise you" She said sadly, rubbing a wrinkled hand on her aged face.

zona took her bow and lean to kiss her grandma

"You've done great in raising me mama. I will be back shortly"

Lily watch her grandchild leave sadly. she's the only thing left in this world, her only happiness. She need to find a suitable man for her.
