Chapter 86 - Birthday Cake

Selina was sitting in her office, meticulously going through the recent batch of hunters who had undergone their assessments, pleased to see most were approved as Rank 1 hunters. She leaned back in her chair, stretching her arms above her head, and letting out a long yawn,

"The World Council meeting is in a few days; time has been going so fast," she remarked to herself.

Selina stood up and started walking around her office, looking at the moving pictures on the walls. She stopped at a special picture that showed her when she was 14, standing with pride next to her dad and other hunters.

They had just caught a huge Gryphon, a really tough one. This picture was important to her because it reminded her of when she was younger and went on hunts with her dad. Back then, life was all about adventure and learning to be a great hunter like her dad.
