Is This a Bad Time To Tell You...?

The Armageddon's crystal started to glow, and Mark frowned before he moved!

KA-TOOM!

BOOM!

A massive explosion echoed through the street as the monster fired at the spot where Mark had just been. Mark jumped across rooftops, using his chain to move quickly out of the way whenever the monster tried to hit him while he was still in the air.

Ida appeared on the right side of the monster and used her blessing to reduce Alpha Two's weight, lifting him high enough into the sky so he could fire off a massive shot into the monster's face!

BOOM!

The monster roared and tried to swipe him out of the air, but Ida brought Alpha Two back down quickly by increasing his gravity. He easily dodged around the monster and escaped once more. Mark used this moment of reprieve to talk to Pat through his comm.

"How far away are we?"

Pat brought up the map in his system and told Mark that they were close. Really close.
