The brother he had tried so hard to support had thrown him away, leaving him in a place he did not know with a man that scared him, hovering over him like a deadly beast. “I must truly be cursed.” He had cried, wishing for his life to end. “You? Cursed? How can someone as beautiful as you be cursed?” the man told him and from that moment on his whole life changed.

Chapter 1Intro

I hate them, I always had, from the very first moment I began existing. From the first hit and the first wound, from the first swear and nasty stare I despised them, loathed them with every piece of my exhausted heart. 

There was nothing left in me, life was numb and the music of the pack during the nights of the celebrations sounded like cacophonies to me, their laughter only a cruel reminder of what they had stolen from me. The moon everyone so adored was only there to mock me, and laugh at me for the fate that it assigned me. The people that surrounded me were nothing more than the stars of my nightmares and their judgmental eyes crept in the dark corners of my mind, reminding me of my curse. I didn't need this god, I did not need this life but my oath kept me there, shackled like a starved prisoner. 

After years of tears, after days of awfully excruciating pains, I had finally managed to calm my heart. To become accustomed to the hate, to not feel so much, to not cry so much, to not hurt so much so why, why did you have to come into my life and tear down my walls? The ones I worked so hard on to protect myself. 

You made me vulnerable, you made me feel and worry, laugh, and cry. Swept me off my feet, flew me to the highest skies only for me to crush to the ground in the most brutal way. 

I was fine on my own until you came.

JUST AMAZING I'M ADDICTED, the characters are so good... THE Plot?!? it's just wow, I rlly wanna see if Astor gets a character development and I hope his brother and the rest of his pack suffers in the future

This is an early review as only 8 chapters are out so far but I can't help but feel fascinated by this novel. It tackles the theme of feeling like a stranger in your own home which will sure hit home for many people. The emotions are shown extremely well and you can feel exactly how they feel by Yaminoyosei's way of writing. Furthermore, the characters and their interactions feel genuine as if two actual people had a conversation. The world building is very interesting, teasing some sort of conflict between the packs of werewolves. And I'd also like to see what role humans have to play in this novel. (if they have one at all) Not to mention that the chapters are coming out on a frequent pace, always making me excited for what's to come. I can't wait till we reach the meat and potatoes of this novel as the set up is already very strong and keeps me longing for more. [img=update]

This story is still in the early chapters but honestly, I am hooked. It is so good I can't stop reading. I LOVE REN, he seems so mysterious and strong and I feel so sad about Astor, I hope he gets to have a better life there. Also, author your writing is amazing! Please keep up the good work!

Yaminoyosei never disappoints with her lgbtq stories. I have loved every single one of them and this too seems promising. Her characters are always likeable or you hate them so much you can’t stand it. Her plots are filled with emotion and this story from the start shows that something big is going to happen.
