Hinata's Change 

[A/N: Oh, you thought this chapter would be about Fuagku or that red-haired woman? Sorry, I lied… it's far away.

For people who are getting bored with slow progression, don't worry; the plot will pick up from here.]

Since then, Naruto has gone to Sasuke's house to pick up Nori, have dinner, and chat with Mikoto every day. One day Mikoto asked Naruto why he was so mature, and Naruto said, "When you live my life, you seem to mature faster" That's not true, but he tried to earn some points, which earned him a hug and kiss on his forehead from her. Since then, they have grown closer, and Mikoto stopped treating Naruto as a kid and started visiting his house. Whenever she came, she would help play with Nori or help around the house.

Ever since Naruto went their first time, Fugaku and Mikoto had some kind of a fight, and they seemed very distant. Even Mikoto talked briefly about how her home environment is not good.

The Hokage hasn't interfered at all when he heard about my relationship with Mikoto. He just doubled the guards.

Today was the Taijutsu match between students. Many were excited since today is the final test to select a single person to hold rank one in the class; of course, you need to keep that position all year since every week and month, and every year there will be many tests conducted. Therefore, the person needs to hold that position until the final year to become a rookie of the year.

There are many benefits to holding rank one. Such as, teachers won't care what you do in that class. In addition, you don't even need to attend the academy; you just need to be present for every exam connected. Another thing you get from this is you can find a personal teacher outside the academy. But, of course, the person needs to accept you, and he will probably conduct a series of tests and observe you accept you as a disciple. The biggest benefit is getting access to many high-level Jutsus and books from the special section of the library.

Once you reach The Rookie Of The Year title, you could request a teacher as your Jonin sensei, and of course, the Hokage can deny you if she is not a suitable teacher, even the teachers can deny you if she doesn't like you. And you get to customize your own headband, and it's an identification for Rookie Of The Year.

[A/N: Sorry, this is not true in the cannon, or at least I don't know. I just pulled these out of my ass. I wanted the title to hold some meaning and benefits. And I wish to use this chance to change some things in the plot.]

So everyone was excitedly waiting in the academy's training grounds.

Cannon fodder 1: " Who do you think will get rank one? Do you think I have a chance?"

Everyone around him was at him as if he were an idiot.

Cannon fodder 2: " Ha? You are just cannon fodder; how can you win against the geniuses from the clan? And how in the living hell can you go against Naruto, who beat a Chunin instructor to a pulp? Be realistic"

A random, somewhat beautiful civilian girl who was probably being pushed from her family to get close to Sasuke. So let's be honest she will either have a chance to get a good Jonin sensei or get a bad one and get raped by the bandits or enemy ninja.

"What about Sasuke? I mean, he is an Uchiha and they are strong and Naruto isn't even from a Clan, he is just a civilian like us. He was probably named Uzumaki because of his red hair and in honor of the clan. The last time Sasuke didn't get to fight Mizuki-sensei, he would have easily beaten him without using Ninjutsu in the end like Naruto."

When Sasuke heard it he puffed his chest.

As the discussion went on, their voice was getting loud, grabbing the attention of others around

Ino suddenly joins the conversation:" What the hell are you talking about? Naruto always beats the instructor in the practice matches during this month and never loses a single fight, while Sasuke loses many times. So you need to get your head checked."

After Ino roasted the poor girl, all Naruto fangirls started roasting the poor member of Sasuke's fanbase. Sasuke had only a few civilian fans, while Naruto had a whole class and a few upper-class girls. While the extensive discussion was going on, Naruto was chilling with Hinata in the corner waiting.

Hinata had a dangerous air around her, but she turned into a tamed cat when she looked at Naruto next to her. And said

Hinata: Those sluts, how dare they think Naruto could lose. If Naruto-kun was not here, I would have taught them a lesson.

" Naruto-kun, will you go all out against Sasuke?"

Hinata can somewhat guess how strong Naruto is from their training, and she has grown stronger and more confident.

Naruto lazily opened his eye and said, " Nah, I don't need to. I will be taking a nap, and don't wake me up until the instructor comes."

He closed his eye to meet Kuruma since they haven't had a chat for a long time.

< Inside his Mindscape >

When Kuruma sensed a presence trying to enter the Mindscape, he excitedly opened his eyes and waited for his Master. He knew he didn't need to guard against anyone since he knew no one could enter without his Master's permission when the Kyubi himself tried to access his Master's memories before getting the blessing from his Master.

(yes, he thinks the loyalty gem is a blessing)

After Naruto entered, he observed his Mindscape. Before, it was barren land but now its turned into a vast land filled with trees and clouds. Then he looked at his servant Kuruma. There was a giant cage around him, and he was tied to the ground with a chain. He wanted to open the seal, but he was not that far in Fuinjutsu since he could only find the intro book in the library. Unfortunately, the books only Hokage gave him were volumes one and two, but that was enough for him to create any seal on his own but not enough to rewire Kuruma's Eight Trigrams Seal, powered by the shinigami.

Kuruma; OHH, Master is hear! Master is here! and he came to visit me. Master is so kind; he cares about my well-being and comes to see me. (Suuuree)

" Welcome back, Master, and you have grown stronger since the last time I met you and have received your blessing."

Naruto looked at the Kuruma, who was bowing his head: Oh, he thinks the loyalty gem I used to make him loyal thinks his change of behavior is my blessing? if Hagoromo heard what his favorite "son" said, he would be rolling over his grave, hahaha.

"It's been a while. How are you doing?"

Kuruma: " I was doing bad, Master, but after receiving your blessing, I feel like my shackles have been lifted and feels like freedom, so I am doing well now, Master."

Naruto: Oh, poor Kuruma…Oh, right, I don't care… I looked him in the and smiled.

But you will need to face the Master's parents since your father installed an emergency protocol if someone messed with his seal by adding his and your mother's Chakra, they will confront you. Naruto: "Oh, interesting, since you can absorb Kushina's chakra, can you add more of your chakra to her and maker her stay longer?"

Kuruma: I can finally help out my Master. " Oh, I can definitely do that, Master. I can keep her forever as long as she is inside her or has any connection to you."

Naruto smiled and thought: Do not think I have any feelings for my mother. She is just a stranger. But, since she is her, I could get close to her and ask her to teach me her sealing and how to access my chakra chains. I have already checked the Heal-bite while I was training Hinata. It completely heals the body and fills their chakra. it's like Senju bean but only lesser.

" Good. When I get home, I will put a sealing barrier around the house just in case any of your Chakra leaks. Then we will try it"

Kuruma: I can finally talk to Master whenever I want. I am so excited!!! ( Another fanboy)

" Okay, Master… It looks like someone is trying to wake you up."

He knew Hinata was probably waking him up since she never disturbs me without reason. So he left after saying a final goodbye.

< Outside the Mindscape >

Hinata: " Oh good, you woke. I have been trying to wake you up for a few minutes. The instructors already announced the matchups."

When Naruto looked at voiced at the voice, he saw Hinata looking at him with worry and thought:

Hinata... She grew into a wonderful girl; she grew out her hair and threw away that terrible loose jacket she wore in the cannon. She grew more confident after talking to Mikoto whenever she visited. But, sometimes, she gives out a gaze that gives me chills through my spine. She uses the "gaze" when the "vultures," she calls them, tries to come close to me. I don't know what Mikoto is teaching her. She even gives me the same "~Ara ~Ara" smile. However, she doesn't say those words, though.

But She did turn into a reliable girl. She doesn't take any handouts from me unless I insist. She wants to be strong by herself. I tested her once by telling her I could give her more power by halving my Chakra with her, which is fake. But like a good girl, she denied it and said she didn't want me to become weak; she would get strong herself. Since then, I truly started training her; until then, I was only training her so she won't get too powerful and won't get in my way, but now I am making her be my right handed-women. I will keep testing her by giving more and more benefits until she feels she is truly trustworthy. Though she trusts me right now, it can change if she knows my true nature. Don't worry I will train her into a "proper" kunoichi.

But it felt nice to have her with me, after coming to this world; even before getting my memories, I never had any friends; I was always on edge. So now I could have a person to lean my shoulders only *shaking my head* I am becoming soft. My only focus is power and prestige, so I won't cloud myself and waste my time like those MCs in the fanfic after meeting girls.

As I stood up and followed Hinata. I looked at the board.

The matchups are:

Sasuke vs. Shino

Choji vs. Cannon Fodder 1

Naruto vs. Shikamaru Hinata vs. Sakura

Ino vs. Cannon fodder 2

On looks like I am up agsint Shikamaru.

Since meeting with Shikamaru, I have become "best friends" with him. He even took me to his house. We played a lot of shogi. At first, I lost, but I started winning with my high comprehension after a few games. However, I am sure I have not even unlocked my full potential of the perk " High Comprehension." I asked God to give me High Comprehension, but it is not high compared to the shinobi world. God took the average lifeform IQ of the entire omniverse, then made it high and gave it to me.

The High Comprehension I got will not just apply to combat; it applies to everything. For example, the way I walk and breathe; currently, I can even other techniques from other anime like the Toal Concentration breathing exercise from Demon Slayers. It probably will be unlocked after unlocking my brain to 100%. But how do I unlock it? I can only think of one technique.

[The Eight Inner Gates], the first gate is,

It's a perfect technique for me, but it's only temporary and the user needs to have a strong body, and after performing it, the user will get tried without a stronger body to support it. I am a full-blooded Uzumaki, and I have a strong life force and a strong body with training and intense regeneration. And with Guy's training, I would get more powerful. But not enough since I want to open other gates while I am at it.

I have watched the anime, when Guy opened his techniques, a red like smoke started coming from his body. I can only guess its excess chakra realized from his body and tiring him. Like Nen in Hunter X Hunter.

I can try to seal it to contain the life force/ Chakra It releases to make it permanent. But won't my body explode after sealing from excess chakra? And how the hell can my Chakra regen? So I either need to have what Tsunade has on her forehead to store it or need to find a way to absorb it and send it somewhere…Umm…But I need to find Guy first and let him teach me the Eight Inner Gates. If not then, after getting Rank one in the class, I could use my privilege to choose him; yes, that is a good away. Because even after finding him, he may say no.
