Thats what Ragna heard while he found himself in a black void where stars shone and strings connected everything. His [Unseen Link] worked like crazy and Ragna instantly knew that he was somewhere important.

But before he could think of anything logical thousand questions found their way into his head.

'Did I just kill a sacred titan which was evolving right now into becoming a divine one ?

And what is a lineage and why did my attribute evolve '

And of course he was also happy that he beat his first nightmare but before he could find answers the spell whispered into his ear again.

[Aspirant! Your trial is over.]

[a Prince found himself in a red forest, surrounded by his loyal soldiers and red light shining down onto them. He spent his time often hunting down beasts, keeping the civilians of his kingdom save. But fate had different plans. It turned out that the red moon was slowly falling and falling and then it turned out to be a heart but he was too late. His homeplace got eradicated of the planet and yet he survived. And at the end he killed [The flawed one] before absorbing its lineage]

Ragna was pretty satisfied with his appraisal.

'Maybe my aspect will evolve into and ascended or even transcendent one. Hmm, lets look at my evolved attribute i got after killing the sacred titan first before ill receive my boons.'

Before he could continue to think the spell said something again

'Oh god, its finally time'

He wasn't an aspirant anymore but what he heard next completly made him freeze, mouth hanging open.

He was stunned for a few seconds

'A .. a-a True Name ? In the f-first Nightmare ? I-isn't lady Changing Star the only person who has been bestowed a True Name in the first Nightmare ? And she's stuck in the forgotten shore right now. Does that mean t-that i have as much potential as her ?'

Ragna shook his head

'No, she defenitely isn't the only other person to receive a True Name in her first Nightmare. The world is too big for that. There are defenitely more.'

'Bled into Existence, huh ? It can also be read as Bloodborne or born to bleed. Doesn't sound that promising to be honest, especially the last one. But a True Name is still a True Name'

' Of course ! Why shouldn't I want an ascended aspect ?'

Ragna quickly moved his finger to the yes button.

[Blood Catalyst]: "By channeling your blood, you can unleash bursts of raw energy, enhancing your physical power or fueling destructive attacks. The more blood you sacrifice, the stronger the effect."

'... M-my Aspect seems strong, really strong. It definitely is a fighting Aspect and since its of the divine rank its probably absurdly strong. ... but sacrificing my own blood. I hope it's not too much.'

[The first Seal is broken.]

Suddenly Ragna's chest felt really warm. It felt like something from inside of him got released. He clutched his chest even tho it didn't hurt. After a while it slowly subsided and his core was built. He felt that his body was stronger now, way stronger. He wasn't just a kid anymore but a dormant human. And suddenly he felt slightly cold as he now was standing inside of his Sea of Soul.

'Huh ? Shouldn't a Sea of Soul look differently ?'

Indeed his Sea of soul looked different. It was a sea full of blood with a bloodmoon hovering over it, shining with bright red light. Everything was still and calm but he could sense that there was more to this than he could see right now. Just to get a brief overlook he summoned all the runes

'Wait, what's a Blood core and what do they mean blood spilled ? Shouldn't it be Soul core and Soul Fragments ?'

Ragna looked at it with confusion. He had never heard of something like this, a different core.

Would his progression be different than others ? And what happens when the blood spilled reaches ten thousand ? The thought of progression differently than others was exciting but also dangerous.

From the runes he could deduct that he needed to spill blood of other creatures to raise his blood spilled meter, which was probably the equivalent to Soul fragments. That meant that he needed to kill many more creatures than other since it was probably counted in litres but what he would gain from it he didn't know yet.

[All power has a price.]

Ragna really didn't know if this was good or bad. This of course meant that he didnt need to find food and water in the Dream Realm to survive but where would he get fresh blood from a human ?

Buying it beforehand wouldn't work since it wouldn't be fresh which meant that a other person probably needed to cut themselves slightly and let Ragna drink. If Ragna had trusted teammates that would be no problem but only if he indeed had people who were okay with it.

[Since you are connected to [The flawed Bloodangel] you'll recieve another flaw]

'W-wait what ?! WHY ?

[Generatin random Flaw]

[Your Flaw is: Obvious Blood]

Flaw description: [Your blood sends a thick sent that lures monsters from a certain radius]

'No, no, no no. Anything but that ! WHO MADE THIS BULLSHIT UP ?'

Ragna thought hard about if he could do anything to prevent this. Of course he could somehow obtain a Memory that would make him stealthier but he didn't know if that would work and if he would ever find something like that. But before he could think of much more the spell whispered into his ear again.

[Wake up, Bled into Existence!]

And slowly the black void started to crumble as he found himself in the real world again, definitely not in his house where he fell asleep before falling into his first Nightmare.

So this were his rewards.

How do y'all find the idea of me giving him 2 flaws ? I only did that because i couldn't chose one since i had like 5 ideas, to be honest.

I feel like i did a good job with what attributes and Aspect I gave him. Maybe he got a little bit too much but so did Sunny and Nephis so it's aight i guess.

Gotta think of how I continue this story now 😭
