Decades ago, in the Gamel Empire, which comprised of five countries—Glycenia, inhabited by the elementals; Alatrin, home to the witches; Meridia, the domain of sirens; Elysia, where the shifters resided; and Lyra, predominantly inhabited by humans—peace and harmony prevailed as each nation went about their daily lives. However, the stability of the empire came under threat when the King of Alatrin, consumed by a hunger for power, sought to expand his dominion. He set his sights on Glycenia, a country equal in strength to his own. On the day of the King's wedding, The King of Alatrin launched a surprise attack on Glycenia, successfully conquering and subjugating it. Elysia suffered the same fate, their people reduced to slaves under the oppressive rule of the Alatrin kingdom. Years passed, and the horrifying events became part of history, etching their scars into the collective memory of the oppressed nations. The King of Glycenia, having married and fathered children, witnessed the suffering endured by his people under Alatrin's tyrannical reign. His firstborn son, the crown prince, grew to detest the way the Alatrin royal family treated their subjects. He despised the sight of his father being forced to bow before the King of Alatrin, a gesture meant to humiliate and assert dominance. So remember that religion where people get reincarnated when they die? Well.... It's true. You must be asking how the hell did I get myself here in another world similar yet unlike our world we call earth or terra? Well it's due to the dewy slopes of a couple of years ago. I was a xenobiologist, and in my free time I do help with the work of my crew mates. Yeah life does suck isn't it? But due to some glitch in the system/life by some higher power or a mistake I had my memories intact from my past life as a xenobiologist. Mainly my study was in flora, and fauna. Now I'm some noble lower caste in some world I barely know to be some dress up bunny because I look like a girl when in reality I'm a boy. Goddamn I wish there were gender roles in this goddamn world. I wish I was back home. I don't wanna be some dress up bunny for the rest of my life for my crazy cousin. But in my spare time I am a contractor. Contractors are the equivalent of mercenaries in this world and would kill monsters or god forbid people if you are in that much heat by the empires high command. People have magic here but me. I can't use magic. Instead I found out that I have an ability where if I was in a bad shape/near death my strength would increase dramatically but if I'm not in danger anymore it lowers my strength dramatically, and another ability that makes me blood thirsty but in exchange of killing someone I get stronger. Yeah seems like bullshit right? Well in my life it isn't bullshit anymore. In this world it's either kill or be killed. The Darwinian way for survival.
