Her Crown Heart
Anastasia has lived her life under the protection of her home, The Donovan Mansion. She has never went to a public school. She was always studying with her cousins and they were taught by a teacher at the comfort of their own home. Anastasia, like any other children is cherished by her parents. "She is our most Prized Jewel. None could compare to her." Says her father when there were gatherings of the Big 5. Her family was one of the 5 Prominent family in the country.
Her peaceful life filled with rainbows and butterflies turned into chaos when she went on a trip with her parents and had a car crash. Their car hit a tree by the road side. Help came a little too late for them. Anastasia went into a comatose and became an orphan that day.
When Anastasia regained conciousness 3 years later, the life she knew was gone. Her parents' company was declared bankrupt not long after the accident occured. The majestic Donovan Mansion was in ruins. Nothing was left of it. Her other family members her uncles,aunts and cousins died one after the other. That too was in the span of a year after her parents died in the car accident. She felt lost and lonely.
She tried to reach out for help to her friends from the Big 5 but they all gave her the cold shoulder telling her to scram and never to return,turning away from her sufferings. Anastasia was left to fend for herself. She felt betrayed by their "sincere" friendship.
Left with nothing but the clothes on her back,she went to find a job but no company was willing to accept her. The only job she could get was in a mini mart which could barely pay for her daily necessities.
One day as she was walking home after her night shift, she stumbled upon an unconciouss man by the side of the road across her shabby apartment.
She decided to help and take the man into her apartment.As soon as she reached her one room apartment, she had a hard time dragging the man on to the tattered carpeted floor and laid him down on the sofa. She then went to take a shower.
The next morning, she woke up to see a huge dog on the tattered carpet but the man was nowhere to be found. She wondered where the man had gone. Why didnt he wake her if her wanted to leave? And whose dog is this? Where did the dog enter the apartment from? And why is the dog so huge,bigger than a Chow Chow,was there a Siberian Husky of this size?
