The temple of goddess (1)

The second story felt empty and oddly silent, especially when it should be bustling with noise. She knocked on the mohagony door and entered the classroom when, all of a sudden, she felt trapped.

A warm cloth with a pungent smell was wrapped around her mouth, and her mind went blank. Her nose and lips were covered, and slowly she lost consciousness.

The carriage traveled through the muddy patches of road and bumped into multiple rocks and stones. The day had started to settle in, and the orange rays glossed over the fair blue sky. 

The carriage continued, but the lady inside felt a lot of hits on her head due to the bumpy road. Her nose smelled the metallic scent of fresh blood, and her eyes were shut despite her conscious brain and her urges to wake up. 

The curtains of the carriage were closed, and by night, they had reached the borders of Evermore, which led to Verdiana.
