Ch. 2 Black Wolf

When Alabast woke up he started screaming and crying. He couldn't see because of something over his eyes and everything hurt. He tried moving his limbs but found he couldn't because something was keeping them in place and if he tried to move it felt like his body was on fire. Then he felt something prick his neck and went back to sleep.

He was currently in a tent far away from where the protest took place. They actually aren't even romotely close. He is now in Kuo Kuana, Menagerie. He was rescued by the High Leader of the White Fang and father of the little girl Alabast was able to save. Ghira Belladonna.

Alabast was taken back with Ghira and given treatment to try and save him. He lost a lot of blood and didn't seem like he would make it. But it's been a week and he has started to heal slowly. But he was waking up more often and screaming in pain. There were others that were hurt and killed, but none like Alabast.

Ghira had to make a decision to save the boy's life. Aura could help heal him and might help with the scarring but would put a beacon on his back for the Grimm to target him and those around him. But as Alabast's condition got worse Ghira easily made a decision.

"He saved my daughter, I don't know him or his parents but it doesn't sit well with me that he would die after doing what I wasn't able to. I owe him this much even if I can't do much afterwards. We will unlock his Aura and then train him. He will become a Fang for the White Fang. I don't want things to come to force. We will continue the peaceful protests but will have more people to defend those that protest. Is that understood?"

Ghira just addressed the important members of the White Fang about the boy and how they will continue. Not many liked the idea of continuing the protests peacefully but they didn't have much of a choice. They had little resources to fight back. They did like the idea of training people to help defend others if another event happens like last week. That was the first time something like that happened. Sure they might get hit a little during their protests, but never beaten to death.

The next day Ghira goes to Alabast in the tent and awakens his aura using the chant and his own aura to do so. Ghira watched as the little bit of white at the tips of Alabasts hair turned a light gray and a black aura rose from his body. It gave Ghira and ominous feeling. He watched as the bandages fell off Alabast's body as his body grew. It was like it was growing in order to contain the aura that was spilling out and the body also changed as it healed. His lightly tanned skin got more tanned, his hair grew thicker and longer. His tail also grew in length. Unfortunately his left ear didn't grow back but it was only cut 2 inches. But it was definitely noticeable. At least it won't heavenly impact his hearing in the future. Alabast, even though he was six started to gain muscles, and not just the small kind. Ghira could tell that when Alabast grew up he would be a monster because the muscles seemed like someone who had trained for years to get. They wouldn't be a hindrance and were just big enough to look intimidating while still allowing flexibility. Then the wounds started to close at a visible rate. But they left horrendous scars. The scars weren't bad themselves and were darker than his skin but it was the amount of scars that was horrifying. All around his body had lines, the cut marks, that looked painful to look at. And when the body was done changing the aura disappeared leaving a healed and strong looking Alabast. The pained expression on his face left and was replaced by a neutral one.

As Ghira left he told the nurse to take Alabasta to the new training grounds when he woke up.

An hour later and Alabast awoke and saw the changes to his body. He also felt an energy within himself that wasn't there before but was too shocked by what happened to him. He also felt empty and devoid of happiness. He realized that he was alone and had come to terms with the pain he had felt. He doesn't like when the nurse touches him and acts violent. The Nurse gave him some bad food but he was told that it is all they have and was then taken to a clearing and was told that he will be training.

Alabast wanted revenge and to never be forced to go through that kind of torture again. A fire started in the empty void inside him and it was raging.

Alabast was the youngest to be trained but he was able to keep up with the weaker adults and teenagers. There were a lot of people being trained. But a few people would stop everyday. Even so, after 6 years of training in various forms of combat and weapons there were still a lot of people.

During these 6 years Alabast didn't gain any muscle but he grew stronger and taller. He was able to contend with the strong adults in terms of technique and either matched speed or strength of them. He hadn't met any kids his age but he didn't care, he didn't want any distractions.

He had his hair grow out and cover the left side of his face because others would stare at it. It grew to the middle of his back and he has some of it over his shoulders. He wore pants and long sleeve shirts. His skin also got less tanned over time somehow even though he spent more time outside. He didn't want the sympathy of others and didn't want to be looked down upon. He just wanted to grow stronger. He liked his aura and enjoyed training it because it made him forget the pain. It numbed his senses and allowed him to focus, he doesn't know what his semblance is yet but feels that within a few years he will unlock it.

After the instructors couldn't teach him anymore he did his own training and sparring with anyone and everyone. He chose a great sword as his weapon. And he was also a good shot.

He normally kept to himself and didn't enjoy talking. His voice is gruff, it still hasn't fully healed after these years. He hasn't met Ghira yet but sees him give speeches. Alabast was told that Ghira was the one that saved him that day and was even the one to unlock his Aura. Alabast doesn't know that he saved Ghira's daughter that day, but he can still remember the girl completely, just like he remembers his mother.

These years were hard on him, he used to be social in his last life but now he just feels lost and is clinging to the hatred and revenge that burns inside him. After these years the bright red flames had slowly turned to bright black flames, like his aura. And the flames continue to grow each year as he gets stronger.

He heard that Ghira has a few kids around his age that are trained separately, but he didn't care. He heard names like Blake and Adam being promising but never heard his name brought up for some reason. Most people are scared of him and leave him alone unless they are forced to fight him. Even the instructors don't want to fight him. Not because he is so good, but because of his ferociousness even in a friendly spar. Even if he stops when the others aura breaks he doesn't stop until that point though.

When he turned 12 he was tasked with defending the people at protests and was under the command of somebody random. He listened to orders and was told to never attack and only defend which he begrudgingly did. He owed Ghira his life, and he would follow any order he gave. This is when he saw that same girl with black hair and cat ears that he saved. The fire inside of him started to go down and he felt something he forgot. He was enraptured by her beauty from afar. Then he saw that she was next to Ghira and understood that she was his leader and savior's daughter. He realizes that he saved Blake Belladonna. He was confused but happy at the same time. But then he saw the way she was looking at some guy with short spiky red and black hair with two bull horns, also red and black, slanted backwards like his hair is. He wore a white and red mask covering his nose up to his hairline. Alabast didn't know why but he felt the fire inside rage when Blake looked at this guy. He later learned that the guy was Adam Taurus, and that just made him hate him more.

Alabast met Blake a few times but she didn't recognize him. He didn't mind and didn't bring it up. She admired Alabast for training so hard but it wasn't much. He looked much older than he actually was. Even being so young he looked almost fully grown. Blake and him would talk for a few minutes but she would always stop when Adam came by which was every time he got the chance to talk with her. And since he couldn't do anything about it he went and vented by training even harder.

It was a few months after his first defensive mission that Ghira stepped down from High Leader of the White Fang and became the Chieftain of Kuo Kuana. This broke Alabast a little, he only was in the White Fang for Ghira, Blake and his revenge. But he quickly moved past it since Blake would stay with the White Fang when they moved out of Kuo Kuana. He decided to also stay, especially when the new leader Sienna Khan took over and started to do more aggressive actions to get others to try and bring change. If they didn't want to acknowledge Faunus as equals the Whit Fang would force them to now.

Alabast thought this was stupid but it would allow him to vent and take his revenge. So for then next years he was used as a pawn and proved his worth.

Sienna eventually took notice of Alabast when he was 16 and he was given materials to make his own weapon. He had a 100% record on his missions and was mostly called a 'Mad-Dog' which he hated but he didn't care what others called him. He kept trying to do his best so he could stay with Blake but she still had eyes for Adam.

Alabast unlocked his semblance and found that it allows him to control darkness. It is stronger at night but still strong during the day. He has trained nonstop so that he can use darkness in the daytime and have it not be a hindrance. He can use darkness for many things like capturing people in a rope made of darkness, enhancing his body, covering lights in a building. Having the traits of a wolf also gives him a form of night vision and enhanced senses like hearing and smelling. He became a good tracker over time as well.

Sienna gave him a special weapon at a certain point when he came out of the shadows of the Fang. He wore a sort of military uniform. He wore the black uniform shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows since he stopped caring about his scars. He had a cape that hangs off his left shoulder and attaches to the front and back of his left shoulder of the uniform to cover his left arm, the cape hangs to about hip level and is black with one white stripe a foot from the bottom of it. There is also a brown fur where the cape meets the uniform on his left shoulder. His pants are you guessed it, black with a patch of grey where his knees are. There is a patch of grey fur on both his thighs that match the grey at the ends of his hair. He wears black combat boots. His hair reaches near the beginning of his tail and is dark black until it is grey. His tail is longer than any other wolf Faunus and is Black until the tip where it is brown like the fur on his cape on his shoulder. The tail is four feet or so while he is 6 foot 6 inches tall. He has a lot of muscles and nothing about him gives the impression of being small.

His weapon rests on his back when not in use. It is a giant great sword. The giant blade can be taken off to turn into a rifle and leave the handle with a long katana blade. When not in combat the great sword blade will become rectangular and compressed so it can rest on his back held there by a magnetic holder. In its great sword form it is called Nights Fall, the katana is Hollow Silence and the rifle is Dark Heart. He dislikes the edgy names but Sienna named it when she gave it to him so he can't change it.

He also got his weapon taken from him in combat before and had to fight with his claws and teeth. He absolutely hated it so he had a weapon made. It was able to be compressed into a band on his wrist when inactive. It can be activated into knuckledusters over the top of his hand just going to his knuckles. In the second form of knuckledusters it will come over the knuckle and goes to his second knuckle. Then it has a set of claws that can be extended over the knuckleduster for mor slicing than brute force. It reminds Alabast of Wolverine from his previous life and actually helps him feel better having them on his wrists, just in case he loses his sword. The name of this weapon is Bestia Fang.

Alabast received the nickname Black Wolf of the White Fang. He was brutal and left an impression. He only kills when necessary but leaves the ones that live with broken bones to remember him by. His mask is the face of a black wolf with light silver lines on it mimicking the other white fang masks that are white with red lines. His eyes are blood red and seem to glow when he puts the mask on.

When he turned 17 he found out that the White Fang was attacking innocents as well and not just those that deserve it. He wanted to go berserk but held it together, even when he found out that Blake had turned her back to the White Fang. That night Alabast left and went to Vale. He was furious and made it known. Nobody could stop him since the heavy hitter were busy doing a mission and probably massacring the innocents. He knew Blake was in Vale and enrolled into Beacon so he also did so. He had a small fortune of Lien due to all the missions he went on and completed.

He got to Vale after a while of traveling and was able to enroll. He passed the written and physical test perfectly and beat the instructor. He saw Ozpin watching him and just glared at the man. Alabast wasn't mad at him, just the world.

Alabast couldn't walk down the street without getting stared at and it infuriated him. But he just used his aura to calm himself so that it just numbs everything. He went and got a new scroll and wireless headphones so he can stop hearing the whispers about him. It's not like he wants to look like the big bad Wolf in the children's fairy tale. He is in a lot of pain and feels lost, he just wants to find Blake and become friends, and hopefully something more romantic but he isn't sure if he deserves that. He still gets nightmares of his mom in this life getting beaten in front of him and getting tortured. He can talk now but has little reason to do so anymore. It healed, his voice is deep and a bit rough. He was told that it sounds good. But it apparently doesn't sound that way to the woman he wants it to though. He sometimes has dreams where Adam taunts him about never being able to have Blake, although that might have actually happened on many occasions to try and keep Alabast in his place. All Alabast knew is that he just wants some light in his dark world and hopes that at Beacon Academy something will change, and hopefully Blake will be that change for him.

Probably a lot of mistakes but I was trying to speed run this bit while also describing his situation
