Killian, Clan of Assassins

That person is Fauste Rexania. The reason Abercio was shocked like that was that Fauste Rexania was one of the higher-ups of a dark organization called 'Greedy God', whose followers were people without common sense. Greedy Gods do whatever they want, refuse to obey rules wherever they are, bring chaos to the world, worship demons they call their Gods, and generally make others uncomfortable with their hostile tendencies toward saints. Before he was called the crazy Tyranny who was always alone, Abercio also briefly joined that Greedy God organization and became one of the higher-ups there.

However, Fauste who is a follower of the Greedy God is here, along with the great-grandfather of Ravin Aleksia, who is clearly Aleksia's family who are loyal followers, a family whose history has always been dedicated to the Goddess Fityche. So, why is Fauste Rexania here? Together with Raveno Alexia too.

'In fact, Fauste is known as a follower of the Greedy God whose hands are the dirtiest because of the blood of the people he killed. It's clear, Fauste isn't a good person, let alone having the heart's intention to serve the Goddess Fitikhe.'

His golden mane and eyes glowed in the light of the fire burning near them.

"I am Fauste Rexania, the Knight Leader's Guardian," Fauste continued.

Despite being shocked, Abercio managed to regain his senses and stay calm so he could respond to the people currently standing before him. He also just found out that Fauste wants to work under someone else, as a Guardian too. The Guardian's task is not easy, because he is the one who has to pay attention, supervise, guard, and take care of the Knight Leader that he guards. Usually, a Guardian's abilities are on par with those he guards, or even stronger, but Guardians do not have divine powers and can execute anyone deemed dangerous to the Leader. To be precise, a Guardian was a person who dirty his hands for the sake of the Knight Leader, because Holy Knights could not carelessly kill people unrelated to devils.

"I am Abercio Killian Laxora," said Abercio. He had decided to break away from Bronka, so he changed his last name. Killian which means that he is part of the killer clan 'Kill' which is actually just the name of a dragon who travels and kills humans who have committed crimes for hundreds to thousands of years, and Laxora is the name he has always used as a pseudonym since leaving his family first. Abercio wanted people to slowly forget the name Abercio, but he would still use it because it was the name his mother had given him. What else can we do?

And, as Abercio had expected, both Fauste and Raveno were shocked to hear the name Killian Abercio had used. Anyone on this continent believed that the Killian that eyewitnesses of the murders always spoke of was the name of a clan of assassins who were quite good.

"Killian.." muttered the knights standing behind Raveno. They looked wary because the person using the name Killian was a murderer.

'Well, they must be out of worry. So far, Killian has been rumored to be a clan of assassins for nearly a thousand years. Even though it was the work of a dragon that people thought was extinct, and that dragon always hides in the sealed dragon valley from the human world, then disguises itself as a human to play around a bit,' Abercio thought.

'And, Raveno is currently still the leader of the knights, not yet the strongest Holy Knight protecting a Saint or Saintess.'

'Ah, but I didn't think that I would be greeting and conversing with them like this one day,' Abercio thought amused.

"I understand your seemingly surprised reaction. But don't worry, I'm Killian who ran away to adventure alone so I don't have to get involved with family matters," Abercio said to calm the people who looked surprised to hear Killian's name.

In a way, Abercio is the first Killian to appear and can talk casually to other people. Because the Killian that people have always known was just someone who appeared dressed all in black, a robe covering his whole body so that his head was also invisible, and a cloth that covered his face, then killed people and answered 'Killian' when asked what his name was. Then it just disappeared as the crowd gathered.

"Re-really you're not that.. Killian? You know the reputation of the Killians that usually appear on this continent for nearly a thousand years?" asked one of the Knights a little uncomfortable.
