Tonight show

"The Tonight show" is an evening and variety talk show founded by NBC in 1954. It has broadcast nearly 2000 episodes. It is the most famous and influential talk show in United States. As a talk show with nearly 5 million audience, "The Tonight show" has a different status in the hearts of audience. Therefore, its guests are also mostly political celebrities and famous stars. MGM and CAA promoted the newcomer Amy to appear on this show, this shows the support of them for Amy and the movie.

Jay Leno is the host of the talk show. He is a humorous and vigorous person. He jokes a lot but also take care of the feelings of the guests. That's why he has achieved such a status in the hearts of audience and even the guests.

Tonight show studio is situated in the Rockfeller centre in the New York. It is also where the headquarters of NBC is located. Amy appeared here today to talk about her movie "Legally Blonde", and there will be some questions about herself.

"Richard, can you please stop?" In the dressing room, Amy looked at Richard a little unhappily. He was constantly walking in the room from one side to another.

Richard's attention was attracted: "What do I stop?"

"Look at yourself, you are even more nervous than me. At least, be sensible when you are outside."

"Who said I was nervous?"

"Say it after wiping the sweat on your forehead." Amy mocked. She knows that the show is very important for her. This is the first time she is appearing in front of the audience in a talk show. This will determine in which light the audience will see her from now own. It is a very important moment of her career.

"Amy, from which planet you are from. Do you ever get nervous." As a agent, it would be a lie if he say that he has understood Amy till now. She's like a paradox box, showing a new side of her everyday. The extreme condifence when they signed the contract, the nervousness when she was auditioning for "Mullholland Drive", again the confidence when her movie "Legally Blonde" was released and now, the cold and relaxed look. Most of the times, she's just a simple teenage girl, but in some situations, she shows a confidence and relaxness which even the most A-listers doesn't have. In the end, one thing is clear for sure, Amy is a strong person and only such people can survive in Hollywood.

"Amy, Are you ready?"

"Yes, I am ready Jay. It feels exciting." Amy replied to Jay next to her. He is a very gentleman person and has served as the host of the show for 10 years now. He is the idol of millions, including Amy.

"I must say not many people have such confidence in their first show."

The show was about to start and makeup artist recheckd the makeup of two people.

Jay went on the stage first and Amy started checking her attire. She was wearing Dior's dress today. The whole dress was light pink with the length reaching her knees, exposing her while milky legs. Her hair were done beautifully and a silver necklace with a pink gem was worn on her neck, adding nobility to her. She was especially requested by MGM to wear pink today as it was a color exclusive to Ellie in the movie. After a while, Amy heard Jay introducing her:

"Welcome to Amy Collins, the most famous debuted actor of the actor with high grossing box office, famous for her unmatched beauty and darling of the fashion industry."

The staff mouthed Amy and she understood. When Jay called her name, she walked on the stage as she was instructed and greeted the camera.

"You look charming today Amy. Really the most beautiful." Jay welcomed Amy on the stage.

"To be honest, I am very very nervous today Jay." Amy sat on the sofa and making trembling moments, "You never know how nervous I was because I was meeting my idol today."

"HuH.. me" Jay made exaggerated expressions, indicating at himself.

"of course, its you Jay. Most people end their day happily by watching you everyday, including me."

"Then I am really honoured. Otherwise, I was worried that men will not forgive me. After all, you have become the crush of more people than me."

"Really, I am honoured by the love and support of you guys." Amy smiled brightly at the camera.

After they, they talked about other things. The most of conversation was related to "Legally Blonde". The whole twenty minutes passed very fast. Amy was relaxed during all the conversation and didn't notice the passage of time.

It was almost twelve o'clock when they came out of the NBC building. As soon as Amy exited the building, cool wind blew on her face. Mary took out a shawl and put it on Amy. David was already waiting at entrance with the car. They went back to the hotel where they stayed. Amy didn't inform anyone about her visit to New York and neither contacted anyone at main house.

The next morning, Amy woke up refreshed. All the exhaustion from yesterday was swept away. She took a comfortable bath and enjoyed a peaceful breakfast. It was about 10 am when Richard and Mary came. Mary was quite calm but Richard seemed very excited.

He excitedly came to Amy: "Rating of yesterday's Tonight show are out. Guess what's the result."

"I think it must be pretty good seeing your such look." Amy looked at Richard and stroked his forehead.

Richard was displeased with Amy's lack of intrest, "Of course I am excited and happy. Yesterday's resting of Tonight's show were the highest in this year. Even the highest ratings of previous two years were not as much as yesterday's."

"Then that's good."

"Its not only good, but excellent. It shows how much audience wants to see you. And from the yesterday response, you are in hot demand." Richard pointed at Amy happily.
