After warning us, the bus driver opened the bus door to a place that looked like a completely different world, we were on the side of a cliff next to water that looked like blood.

"Strange" I muttered looking at the water through the school bus windows thinking that the water looked like that because of something logical like the sunlight reflecting on the water weirdly or something like that.

I got up started walking without saying a thing and started to get off the bus

"Hey, Rei wait up! I want to walk with you" Said Tsukune

"Fine," I said coldly and resumed my walk down the stairs of the school bus

"Hey, kid I wouldn't act like that if I were you, you two need to stick together in order to survive in this school," Said the bus driver

I turned around and looked at him then said "Sure I'll keep that in mind," without any expression then resumed my walk with Tsukune following behind me.

"Watch yourselves," Said the bus driver before closing the bus door and driving off

I just looked around and then started walking towards what I thought was my new school

"H-hey why do you think it looks so strange here? everything looks so dead here" Asked Tsukune

"How would I know?"

"W-well you uh know um... I don't know" Said Tsukune with a defeated look

"Anyway I think you should try being more sociable, I mean it's a new school and a chance to start over and I don't think you want what happened at our old school again," Said Tsukune

"I'm completely fine with what happened at our old school, I don't need friends"

"That's what I thought you'd say" Said Tsukune with a depressed look

"Anyway what did you do over the summer, I mean you never left your room if you weren't going on a run or getting something to eat, or going to the bathroom"

"Why do you care?" I said

"Well because were brothers even if we aren't related by blood so I want the best for you," Said Tsukune

"Oh, and how would you know what's best for me? I mean you barely have any friends despite trying to be " Sociable " and your grades are trash, so bad in fact that this was the only school that would accept you and you know I wouldn't have to go to this school if it wasn't because of that ' incident ', and the fact that you're not even athletic to the point you could be compared to a wet noodle is sad in fact I have better grades and am practically 20 times more athletic than you, plus I'm handsome and you're so ordinary if you didn't speak I doubt anyone would notice you and would think your some background character from an anime meant to take up space, so how do you know what's best for me hmmm?" I said tearing into him

Tsukune couldn't even speak because he knew I was right

"Anyway I'm going to walk ahead because I don't want you to be compared to someone like me after all you're trying to be sociable after all unlike me, so I wouldn't want to take all the attention away from you, besides I have to sh*t, and you're slowing me down," I said this all ruthlessly

Tsukune couldn't even move after all that I said but could you blame him

After I said that I just continued walking as if nothing happened.

Call me an asshole if you want to but if I didn't walk ahead of him maybe he wouldn't have met 'her' before me and maybe the future would've been different.

Maybe I wouldn't have hated him so much because of his amazing luck, and the fact that me wanting to get away from him because he kept pestering me despite being such a failure caused the future to play in his hands so much.

If you think about it he should've thanked me for being so kind.

I continued walking and didn't see Tsukune once and eventually, I reached my new school

Yokai Academy

I rushed into the school and walked around awhile and eventually reached a bathroom

I wasn't lying when I said I had to shit anyway I checked my class schedule and the school layout so I could find my class

Meanwhile

'Man this day sucks not only is it the first day of school but Rei had to say those mean things to me... I mean maybe they were true but I was just trying to help him but still, I guess he was right'

'No, I won't give up I'll make sure Rei learns that having friends is a good thing... but maybe he really is right'

'No today's not all bad besides I met that cutie, I think her name was Moka, she was really cute I don't know why she was saying she was a vampire... maybe a cosplay thing but still I hope I get to see her again'

"Mister Aono, Mister Aono, are you okay?" Asked the teacher

"Oh yeah, Yes teacher" Said Tsukune

"Okay... As I said I'm sure everyone knows this, but this academy was built so you could learn how to coexist with humans because the planet is already well under control of humans. so we have to coexist with them, so this brings us to rule number one ["You must remain in your human forms no matter what the only exceptions are that are special circumstances while on campus"]

"Then rule number two ["You must never reveal you monster identity to others"]" Make sure to always follow this rule," said the teacher

"Huh what a buncha boring rules if we meet a human why not just eat it, that's what I'm planning to do"

"Hmm, your name is Saizo Komiya right... well no humans would be able to get in here after all this place is enclosed by a barrier and any human who happens to walk in it will die, so there are only monsters no exceptions" After the teacher said this the door suddenly opened and out came a cute girl with pink hair

"Hmm, and you are?" Asked the teacher

"Hi sorry I'm Moka Akashiya, I'm a bit late"

"So cute" muttered some students

Moka looked around a bit but her eyes suddenly stopped on a certain normal-looking boy

"Tsuuuuuuuuukunne" Yelled the girl as she literally jumped from the front of the classroom to the back hugging the boy

Everyone looked shocked but not about the distance she jumped but rather how did she know this ordinary-looking boy but they would be shocked once again

"Hmm I finally found my classroom" Muttered Rei walking into the still shocked classroom

Everyone was still shocked and didn't notice me walking in which was a shock after all I'm so handsome!

I looked towards what was the attraction of everyone's attention and guess what I found

I was initially shocked seeing my loser of a stepbrother being hugged by a beautiful but then I started thinking where he met her because no one would hug that loser without knowing him but I couldn't remember anyone like that and while I normally don't remember most people but I wouldn't forget someone like her... i think

Especially if they were that affectionate with Tsukune

But then he probably met her when walking to school they must've really hit it off... strange

The teacher was the first one to notice me

"And you are?" the teacher said this attracting everyone's attention

"Hi I'm Rei Ainsworth I was late because I had to go to the bathroom," I said this with a small smile which surprised Tsukune and even me

"Wow he's so hot I wonder if he has a girlfriend" Muttered a bunch of girls

Now, this was the kind of attention I expected after all...

Wait why do I care? Normally I hate attention

Maybe I was jealous of Tsukune... nope impossible who would be jealous of that loser

"You can sit there next to miss Akishiya," Said the teacher

"Okay," I said this coldly

Now that's like me

After I sat down the teacher explained everything she said before and while i was shocked at first I quickly calmed down I was always fast at adapting and I felt something i hadn't felt in a long time

Tsukune watched my expression and was surprised i calmed down so quickly

"Now does anyone have any questions"

"I do," I said

"What is it"

"Is murder allowed"
