A Talk With Roswaal
Rem: Zero Volume 4, Chapter: 49! Tion_Official.
Previously… Rem was traumatized that she died and was sent back five days in the past, where she first arrived at Roswaal's Mansion. She was then comforted by the same attitude of Beatrice that led her to not give up and Rem tries again, but this time, she now knows that she's going to get killed in the fifth night, but by who…? It doesn't matter right now. Right now, she'll make sure she stays alive and make Subaru and Emilia have a day together.

---Rem's POV.
From what I know, if you perform the same actions that you did in the past, it's a guarantee that the same thing will happen, same route, same ending, same happy Rem and excited Rem.
But… This time. The clothes that were picked for me were denied by Ram, even though she picked it herself last time.
She said it was too tight? In many shapes and sizes.
I also forgot. Why the heck didn't Ram tell me the same thing last time?
She picked up a wrong sized maid outfit for me the last time, now that I'm picking it up again, she immediately saw through me and told me it wasn't going to fit. That's a weird thing to think about, but I guess it's my fault for being too excited. The last time I was there, I was mostly depressed, but still happy I got to work as a maid.

Rem is using the bath house to clean herself, her body is deep in the warm water, thinking and clearing some stuff out. It's been a rough checkpoint, and she doesn't want that to be a burden to her.
Rem sighs.
[Rem] I really need to think about some stuff, like I really need to. It maaay be true that if you are in the past and repeat an action in the past it will end up the same path and ending, but me knowing what will happen? I am bound to have a slight eye twitch, and one simple eye twitch is for sure going to change everything. Changing the past is really scary. Lots of things to do, but really dangerous if it's messed alot.
Rem hears the door open as she turns around to see who entered her vision, it's the owner himself.
[Roswaal] Hello there, Dear Rem. Can we shower-
Rem looks away, not slightly even embarrassed.
"I refuse to have a bath with you."
Roswaal sways his hips as Rem still doesn't care.
[Roswaal] This is a facility in my manor so it belooongs to me. It's my freedom to use it however I want.
[Rem] Then please just use it, I don't wanna be looking at your genitals any longer.
[Roswaal] Like Subaru and Ram has told me, you are really strange, you don't show genuine reaction when I just come forward looking like this infront of you~
[Rem] Please get in the bath…
[Roswaal] You're such a strict girl. Also, there is one thing you don't understand.
This bath house is in fact mine indeed. So, as a worker in this manor,
Roswaal then kneels to Rem, to hold her chin as they gaze into eachothers eyes as Roswaal continues.
[That also means you're mine too.]

Rem bites his hand as Roswaal seems to have no reaction out of it, but expects Rem to do that.
[You didn't even hesitate at all].
[Rem, Inner Speech] This checkpoint is far more stranger than last time.
Rem's POV---
Jeez, can't I take a break.
The last time I was here, I was surely embarrassed, and I wasn't even sure what to do, but now seeing this the second time, He just wants a reaction out of me. If there's one thing Rem hates.
It's forcing a reaction out of her.

Rem looks at the ceiling of the bath house, trying to relax, because she obviously can't now that Roswaal is near here.
Rem then feels a gaze on her as she looks to Roswaal, and surely enough he was gazing at Rem, which makes Rem a bit mad.
It was silent until Roswaal started to talk, which surprises Rem because that didn't happen the last time.
[Roswaal] Even though I don't know what you are troubled with, there are a lot of things in this world that won't go according to plan. Mmm. Ah right, how is it going with Ram and Subaru dear?
[Rem] Them? Well, I'm still not close to Subaru, not an inch close at least, but I'm doing fine with Miss Ram. In fact, I think she's a little bit too friendly with me, it's either she wants to, or it's because I look somehow similar to her, which I don't support.
Rem looks at Roswaal.
[Rem] Anywho, I can't believe she can be a maid that way.
[Roswaal] Is that so? Subaru will cover for her. Because they are siblings, so they must help each other. In that case, they're doing a great job.
Rem tilts her head as she was confused when he said that.
[Rem] Siblings? So wait, are they related??

Rem opens the door of the bath house.
[Rem] That was a long bath, I didn't expect it to be that long… I feel like I could drop at any moment… ugh, stupid Roswaal.
She then turned her eyes to the right and she then saw Ram, looking at her which she immediately backed off the door covering herself with her arms, as she looked at the unfaced Ram.

[Ram] Could you please next time prepare a towel for yourself? Nobody is going to fetch you one you know that, right?
[Rem] I-I forgot, okay?? But why are you here??
Ram is carrying towels, especially there's underwear on top of them.
Obviously Ram won't give one towel, so it's no use for Rem to ask for one.
[Ram] Ram is just waiting to help Master Roswaal change, that's why.
Too bad, Ram will only shower after she finishes her work. She won't be changing clothes here.
[Rem] What are you talking about?? If you're talking about me, I don't have thoughts like that! I'm not a pervert! Also you spoilt him too much, you should consider to let him put on his own clothes.

[Ram] Ram can't forgive people who disrespected Master Roswaal in front of Ram. Next time, I'll make sure to shut Rem's mouth closed.
[Rem] E-e… I-I'm sorry for that, but something you just said makes me feel weird.
[Ram] I didn't say anything weird, and also I don't have the time right now. But if you're free later, I'll come to your room. Wait for me there, and you can tell whatever you have in mind, it's probably worthless anyways.
[Rem] Jeez, how cruel can you get Ram, I know that- wait what now?
