Chen Mumu did not see Xu Jingli at all. She stared at Jiang Lei and scoffed, "If you are thinking that you and I would get back together or have any sort of contact with each other then you should stop dreaming because it is never going to happen."

Jiang Lei knitted his brows. What Chen Mumu was saying was right. He wanted her back even as a mistress. When he saw her at the engagement party in that dress, he immediately regretted choosing Chen Xu over her.

He was a player by nature and as a stone, he wanted to hit the two birds once!

Chen Xu had money while Chen Mumu had beauty, he felt like he needed both of them to some degree!

What he could not stand was Chen Mumu had moved on with his boss, he could never let that happen!

Chen Mumu knew exactly what was going on inside Jiang Lei's brain. She slowly said, "I won't ever break up with Xu Jingli. He is perfect, handsome and insanely rich. Which girl in their right mind would leave someone like that just so I could give a mere office worker like you a chance?"

She stood up and took the globe that Jiang Lei had carelessly slammed on the table earlier. Before she could even make a step, she felt Jiang Lei holding her arms and him shouting, "You bitch-"

He pulled her back to the chair she was sitting on.

The ambience was calm so everyone could now hear them. They all turned around and faced them fully!

Chen Mumu looked around and shouted, "What the hell are you trying to do?"

Jiang Lei laughed like a maniac, "You think you can embarrass me and get away with it? I will expose all your lies to everyone here!"

The people were talking so loudly that Chen Mumu could hear what they were saying. Her eyebrows rose up in annoyance as she stared at Jiang Lei, "You should stop this madness!"

Jiang Lei only smirked, "Two can play this game! Before I make this even worse for you or not, let me ask you again, will you break up with Xu Jingli or not?"

Chen Mumu was getting tired of these games. She stood up and was ready to leave even if she was being criticized but before she could make a step, her body came in contact with another warmer body.

She was expecting the person she bumped into to start cursing but instead, she heard a calm voice say over her head, "Why would she do that?"

Jiang Lei, seeing that Xu Jingli was here, immediately started sweating, "B…boss…"

He was stammering like someone with a disease!
