Asking for Help

As usual, Akira, the quintuplets, and Rena sat together on the sofa after dinner.

Rena stood up and went to her room.

Akira noticed the look of shock on his mother's face and was not surprised that she would turn out like this.

"Akira, your phone is ringing." Miku said.

Akira took out his cell phone and looked at the caller ID. He stood up, walked into the kitchen, then he picked up the call.

"Good night, Akira, how are you?"

A young girl's voice sounded on the cell phone.

If Akira answered the phone call, he would receive Miku and Ichika's glares. Therefore, he walked away before answering the phone call.

"Night, Ako Senpai. I'm fine, why are you calling at a time like this?" asked Akira.

The person calling is Suminoe Ako, twin girls, and also one of his many childhood friends.

Even though his body is a child, Akira has the soul of an adult. Instead of spending time playing with immature boys, he prefers playing with girls. And as a result, he has many childhood friends, that's the result of the investment he made when he was a child.

Ako's voice hesitated, then there was another voice on the phone.

"Ako, don't beat around the bush. If you can't do it, let me tell Akira."

Her voice is exactly the same as Ako's, but her tone is more monotonous.

"Is Riko Senpai there?"

Akira was increasingly curious about what the two twin sisters needed from him.

Akira became silent after hearing that, then asked in surprise. "Don't tell me it's just the two of you doing the investigation, right?"

"En." Ako answered shyly.

"Idiot... You're the student council president, why don't you get the other student council members to accompany you on this task..."

"The student council has been really busy lately and I don't want the other members to be burdened by this."

Akira didn't mention -Senpai when he found out that there were only Ako and Riko on the other side.

On Akira's side, after he turned off the phone, he went to his room and changed clothes.

In less than 5 minutes, he was wearing a long-sleeved black shirt, a black jacket, and black jeans. He likes to wear one color of clothing.

Descending the stairs, he arrived at the living room. The five sisters watched him dress neatly, then Ichika asked:

"Where are you going on a night like this, Akira? Maybe a date?"

Akira mixes truth and lies.

"Guts's test..." Itsuki muttered under her breath. As someone who was afraid of ghosts, she didn't know why people would participate in such activities.

"My friends are already waiting, I feel bad letting them wait so long. I go first."

Before Ichika and the others asked more questions, Akira took his leave.

"Don't come home too late!" Yotsuba followed him to the door and reminded him.

"I know." Akira answered while putting on his shoes.

Looking back, after confirming that there was no one else around, Yotsuba whispered. "Is Akira-chan going to encounter a supernatural event?"

Memories of Akira fighting Vali were still fresh in Yotsuba's mind. She thought her little brother was just making excuses so he could go out at night.

"Uweeee~"

Akira pulled Yotsuba's cheeks, then said with a faint smile: "You worry too much, Yotsuba-Nee, I'm really just going to school. Don't worry, even if I encounter a supernatural being, nothing will happen."

"Ouch, don't pinch my cheeks, what if someone sees."

Yotsuba hastily looked back, and heaved a sigh of relief that no one had seen the action just now.

She rubbed her cheeks which were reddened from being pinched, and asked while complaining.

"Why is Akira-chan so sure?"

Akira opened the door, and said without turning his head: "Because I'm strong."

After leaving that sentence, the door closed, and he left.
