'Naruto has changed.'

The thought appeared in my mind after I met him outside the Hokage Building. He was sitting on the ground and after knowing the story, I don't know what to say.

Sometimes I think that my decision about him is wrong and instead of sending him to Orphanage, I should have decided to take care of him.

But knowing the Village Clan Leaders, and council members, they would have tried to argue about it.

Even if I say 'I am the Hokage' and use my position, I know it could cause some unnecessary friction and now with Undercurrents in Uchiha Clan, I really don't know what to say.

My friend Danzo, advises me to give Naruto to him and that he would make him a good weapon for the village but I disagree. Why? It was Minato who had told me about the Tailed Beast and told me that only a good relationship between a Jinchuuriki and a Tailed Beast would help Jinchuuriki in using the Tailed Beast's powers.

Or One would have to be on First Hokage and Madara Uchiha's level to control the Tailed Beasts.

After knowing about him getting kicked out of the orphanage, I checked it and found out that the Matron was ordered by someone else to do this and in this village, I know only one person who would do this.

"Danzo! What are you trying to do?" I asked while looking at my friend, who was sitting in front of me with no expression.

"Everything is for Konoha."

Hearing this, I sigh and ordered him to leave and he left the place without saying anything.

Neko appeared at the place and gave me the reports about Naruto. It has been one month since he started to live alone and every day, he would follow the same routine. Running around the village, trying to escape from ANBU, doing weird stances at home, reading books and practicing writing, and at last, sleeping or I should say meditating. he also tried to enter the Academy and listen to the lectures which I found cute and I also know the reason for this.

Like he said before, 'After all, no one has ever taught me'. His desire for knowledge is good but there are some things that should come naturally and he would have to learn about this

Seeing this behavior, I knew he had matured a bit and it made me sigh at the fact that children mature too early, even in peaceful days.

"Anything new!"

"Yes! He had been trying to make contact with me."

Hearing this, I looked at her with a curious expression and said, "Continue."

"Every day he would grumble about Chakra and how amazing it was. He would ask me about it but I didn't say anything to him."

"And did he tell the reason about it?"

"Yeah! He said he saw someone transforming into another person and wants to do it so that he could meet others and have friends. He also said it would help him in buying daily stuff, going to the library to read, and at last, not get looked by villagers with hatred every time."

Hearing this, I sighed and understood that I have really failed Minato and Kushina. They wanted their son to be the hero but he is known as a demon. They wanted their son to have a happy childhood with others but he is now isolated by everyone and only comes out in the morning and runs around the village. Why in the morning? It is because there are not many civilians awake at that time.

They wanted their child to have friends and playmates but he has no friends and everyone ran away after cursing at him.

'Haah! I really failed them. Minato, Kushina, if you knew about Naruto suffering this much because of me, would you still have entrusted him to me?'

"No need to tell him anything, I will try to meet him and then decide what to do."

I said and Neko disappeared after nodding at me. Looking at the papers in front of me, I sighed again and started the work.

A month passed by and I didn't visit Naruto as I forgot about it and had to deal with Uchiha and politics.

I saw Neko appearing in the room and I nodded at her.

"Hokage Sama, Naruto has collapsed in the room. I sensed some Chakra and appeared in the room. I saw him lying on the floor covered with some red chakra."

Hearing her, I stood up from my place and said, "Let's go! Why did this happen to him?"

"I think he was trying to extract Chakra from his body and he unconsciously used the Nine Tail's one."

They both appeared at Naruto's home and saw Naruto on the floor groaning while the red-colored Chakra that feels full of malice covered him.

Looking at Naruto groaning in pain, I blocked his Chakra Points and the red-colored Chakra started to disappear.

Finally, the whole Chakra disappeared and Naruto was left with some burn marks on his hands.

"Hah! He really was extracting Chakra. Neko! Why did this happen? Didn't I say I will meet him?"

"Hokage Sama, you said that a month ago. As for why he did this, I may or may not know about this."

"Hmm! Bring him to Hokage Office when he will wake up. I will heal him and let him rest."

I said and put my hands on his body and used the Mystic Palm Technique to heal him. I didn't have to do much work as his body was already getting healed at a rapid rate which made me remember just how monstrous the Uzumaki clan's healing abilities were.

After he was fully healed, I left the place and kept on thinking about the next course of action regarding Naruto's attempt for Chakra. He has already extracted Chakra and now I think I will let him be trained by Yugao. She can teach him all the basics and I will enroll him in Academy next year with the Clan heirs.

That's the last thing I can do for him and let him have some good years in the academy.
