Chapter one- Reincarnated as a what-

I was walking down the line of people that are about to get executed. I can't believe I am getting executed after everything I've done for him. I was just a plaything at his hands. I start tearing up I can't believe the person I trusted the most has betrayed me. I refuse to believe it but no one can defy reality.

Its my turn to get beheaded.

I smile and cry as I scream "Looks like I was just fooled by one of your schemes I trusted you-"

I got beheaded it was a painful but quick death. I woke up to an unknown place.

'Where am I?'

"Hello I am Yor, I will be in charge of seeing your fate. Please pick one of these cards."

I picked the one I felt drawn to the second card. Yor flipped the card and smiled.

"In this life you'll be of mermaid race.Since we see what you're fated to be please drink this."

Yor gave me a cup of a liquid. I drank it nothing really happened, and so Yor escorted me to a door. I don't know what the door was for. But they asked me to go through the door, so I did.

I woke up although I was fully aware of what I would become I was still shocked to see me having a fish tail. The fish tail was shiny and pretty. In fairytales it says they look beautiful I wonder if its true. But there was no mirrors close enough for me to see my face here. Whatever i'll just hope for the best!

A mermaid barged into my room.

"ELIAS! You're finally awake! I wanted to tell you something!"

'I should act like I know her' I think

"What is it?"

"You're getting engaged!"

'What.' I thought to myself in absolute shock

"I'm getting engaged?!? To who?"

"The crown prince!"

"A man?!? I can't marry a man..!"

"Sweetie you have to the crown prince propose himself! And besides you're the only candidate after all your beautiful and you're someone who's apart of the Taylor duchy!"

"But..I" *I sigh and then stay silent*

'Are you kidding me I just woke into this body and its already getting engaged. I have to runaway.'

"Get ready you need to introduce yourself to him!"

'Oh crap." I say in my mind

I got out of the bed and went to the closet. Woah those are some revealing clothing! I chose one that covered the chest. After all I had to dress to impress. I looked in the mirror, while looking in the mirror I was surprised to see how beautiful I truly looked.

Once again someone barged in once I was done.

"Are you done?!? The crown prince is here!!!"

"Huh..Oh yea I'm done now!"

And so she escorted me to where the crown prince was. The crown prince was beautiful. Their hair looked silky and luscious. No way…I shouldn't be thinking this way…I'm straight!! This is a man! A man!!!

While bowing down he says "Im Luciel Von Ashelyn Crown prince of Pholon"

I bowed down as well and said "Im Elias of the Taylor duchy"

Luciel seemed to have a mischievous smile on his face.

"As expected you're as beautiful as the rumors."

Luciel kinda pisses me off but I have to endure it I don't wanna get beheaded again do I.

"Thank you.. and you're as handsome as they claim."

"Thank you Elias I can't believe I'm getting complimented by a beauty~"

Luciel is quite the flirt huh. After talking for a bit we were escorted to eat together. We ate together peacefully. After eating we said our goodbyes. Since he left I went into my room and started crying.

"Why do I have to marry a bastard like that!-"

I started to notice I'm crying pearls. I was confused. Maybe I should ask someone. No wait I need to focus on escaping this place! I was thinking on how I should escape.

I finally got a idea what if I get permission to get out of here and escape! But first let me get some clothes. I search for under garments. I found a see through skirt like clothing. I put it in the bag I found on the table. I go out the room and search for the person who barged into my room aka the mom.

Found her! I swim fast up to her.

"So mom.. can I go out of the mansion??"

"Are you doing this to escape?"

"No I swear im not!"

I should also ask her abt me crying pearls aswell.

"Also why do I cry pearls?"

"I thought I already told you- well whatever. Our bloodline can cry pearls that can be used to heal diseases and purify anything its basically our ability!"

"Oh but can I go?"

"Hmmmm fine but don't runaway."

"Okay!" I said smiling

I'm gonna run for it!! Since I finally got the permission I went outside the mansion and swam looking for land. I finally found land!! I go onto it and of course the tail turns into human legs naked but not my chest. I notice I had a bag full of skirts. I wear a skirt, it was white slightly transparent but enough to cover up my body. I walk around looking for any humans. And I saw a man walking out the forest

Luciels POV:

I can't believe my fiance is a beauty~!! Until a servant barged into my room.

"ELIAS IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!"

"What..?"

Haa.. Elias dare runaway from me the crown prince? What more does he need! I'm gonna be the emperor of the lands anyway!

"SEND GUARDS TO FIND HIM ON LAND AND NOT ON LAND NOW!"

"Of course your highness!!!"

He dares to runaway? Should I chain him so he can't leave me?

ELIAS POV:

Oh my~~~ Have I hit the jackpot! This guy is main character material!! And of course the guy was baffled to see me. I mean I had a pretty face and pretty body and everything. But then I heard screaming. As I look behind me I see guards everywhere coming from the sea. I ran behind the guy that I saw earlier.

"P-please help me out here I'll do anything!"

He stared at me coldly and nodded softly. Then I heard people screaming in terror, I check to see what happened only to see a bloody scene. I started to tremble from fear, even if the people who were murdered were people whom I never even met. It reminded me of how many people got beheaded during that time..

He came up to me and looked at me as if he was suspicious of me.

"Who are you?" He said coldly

"Im Elias.. I'm what'd you call a merman."

"Oh..?" He said appearing to seem interested in me

"Im really sorry for trouble I've caused-"

"Why were you even getting chased by hoards of people?"

"My fiancé.. he must've ordered them to get me back.. I actually ran away from home! I do however wonder what would happen if I came back really.."

"You're engaged?"

I nod softly.

"But what can you even do for me?"

"My tears.. they can turn into pearls that can detoxify anything or heal any injury!"

"Well then Im Eugene. I'll keep you with me, even if you'll make me in a extremely dangerous position..I'll help you in one condition!"

"What is the condition?"

"Heal me when I'm injured with your pearls."

"Deal!"

Luciels POV

"WHAT? THEY'VE ALL BEEN MURDERED? If they can't find him, I will myself!"

"Your majesty you-"

"Don't you dare interrupt me!" He yells
