Third And Fourth Suns

"Shut the hell up! You weren't there to see what had happened! You have no right to call me as such! I am the true heir to the throne! I wasn't the one to lead the Knights into destruction... It was the one who betrayed us all first! I was..." argued Mordred.

"And who would that be other than your treacherous self? The Romans? Vortigern? How about Morgan Le Fay? Did she incite the rebellion by using you as a puppet, or were you just a beast of berserking?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"What's wrong? Cat got your tongue? You are probably the only legend in the history of all worlds to tarnish their name at the end of your life. You're only famous because of that deed of killing your father. A rare villain, and yet you are trying to do some good for the recent days..."

"Enlighten me on that particular behavior of yours. The Arks have heard of what you've done to the potential rapists of the Red Light District of Albion. So why are you suddenly doing good for the citizens of another kingdom?"

"It's none of your business! I am through talking to the likes of you! Your tongue reminds me of a person I despise within the Round Table! Get out of my way, Other Worlder!" bellowed the Black Knight as I heard her voice crack.

What's going on? I knew she was furious because it was the whole point of me taunting and speaking wrong about the legend of Mordred, but I didn't expect that voice to crack in the end. Instead, it was as if she was trying to point out that it was her fault that Camelot fell.

Was Mavislin right about Merlin controlling the aftermath of Camlann and the rebellion that Mordred had incited? I knew from my world that Mordred was a jealous kid that wanted to be King but couldn't rule a kingdom.

Perhaps this world's version of Mordred was different? No, that can't be it since the archives depicted Mordred the same as my world's history textbooks. On another point, how did the Black Knight know that I was an Other Worlder? Did word spread around that quickly?

I looked down onto my right side to find the Black Knight readying the first attack in her palm. I quickly released the Knight from my grip and summoned my sword to block the upcoming attack. However, before I could blink, a single bolt of black lightning appeared, barely missing my body.

But that was enough to throw me off guard as the Black Knight appeared in front of me, at a lower position, with her sword's tip dangerously close to my heart. Crap, I've been had! And at this range, I can't use any defensive measures... I can only rely on my physical defense!

I squeezed my eyes shut and asked Vania to enhance my body's defense to the maximum caliber. But it was then I felt another Elemental Energy and Aura heading towards us. Not another one...

"Third Sun: Turbulent Embers!" yelled a familiar Kitsune as two blue fire crescent moons appeared behind the Black Knight's neck.

The arrival of Tomoe gave me a chance to get away from the Black Knight. However, the enemy sounded annoyed as she was forced to turn back and deal with a new opponent. The Black Knight drew up her sword to position it above her head and prepared for a downward strike.

Tomoe sensed the danger but did not choose to back away from the oncoming attack. I was confused about why until I saw a smirk appear on the Kitsune's pale face. I wanted to jump in, but Tomoe's next move was swifter than mine.

"Fourth Sun: Scorching Bones, Flare Up!" shouted Tomoe, swinging his blade upwards in a circular motion to create a significant slash of blue flames to stop the incoming strike.

I was astonished when the fire slash was powerful enough to halt the Black Knight's massive sword. Another Tick passed, and the Black Knight flew backward and into the wall again. Tomoe smiled as he launched himself towards the opponent again.

Getting back into action, I decided to help the fox out by conjuring up a spell used for long-ranged combat. First, I twirled my sword around with ease and flexibility before using one hand to grip the handle. Then, I stuck the blade's tip out like I was about to impale the air before me.

"Divinity. Punishment. Strike down. Impale the impulse. Pierce the dawn before me, Luminis Thrust!" I yelled as a light beam appeared from my sword's tip and bolted toward the Black Knight's lower body.

"First Sun: Waltz!" yelled Tomoe, the same time that I released the spell onto the enemy.
