LXXXII: Golden Dragon Vs. Fire Dragon, Part 5.

"As my predecessor used to say, I'm all fired up now!" Seeing Marie's strange form, Leona didn't bother to inquire about her appearance, she simply detonated the primal power that lay within her.

Her skin took on the shape of scales, including part of her face, her eyes became like the pupils of a reptile, and the blue fire that had previously been formed into a spear burned back into her body with greater ferocity.

"Azula will sue you for copying her flame," Marie scoffed, thundering her neck as she did little hops to get used to her new increased strength.

"That came out much better than I expected, I almost thought I was going to explode or something," Marie continued, gently touching the energy horn sticking out of her head.

"Ah, but you look really good, you know?" complimented Leona, just before launching herself at Marie.

Leona left a trail of flames in her wake as she positioned her spear to impale the blonde, who made a simple slash with her sword, but this simple move unleashed a wave of golden energy even more powerful than her previous attack.

"Much denser and much more powerful, what an interesting attack," Leona muttered as she swung her spear and hit the wave of energy.

The collision of the two attacks caused a terrible sound, but even though they were stopped, Marie didn't care much, she was getting used to her overflowing energy and already felt like she was getting the hang of it.

Leona screamed as she raised her weapon with both hands, deflecting Marie's attack, but she noticed that the blonde was indifferent and there was even a hint of mockery in her eyes.

"I don't like that look in your eyes," Leona muttered as she continued to move quickly toward Marie, but this time the blonde took her reaction much more seriously.

She densely covered her sword with energy and then slashed at Leona, causing both of them to clash with their weapons. What followed was an exchange of attacks between them, moving all over the training ground as the sound of their weapons clashing echoed constantly.

For every attack or technique used by one of them, the other would respond in kind, their fight becoming increasingly fierce and violent as they unleashed everything they had to destroy their opponent.

Marie shed her armor and was left with a black flannel that was torn and burned, some of the wounds on her body giving off smoke from the incredible heat being used against her, capable of piercing the golden energy scales that covered her body.

Leona, for her part, was putting on a show for those who were interested, as her torso was now completely naked, covered only by her blood, cuts, and possible bruises. But she didn't mind her breasts bouncing every time she moved.

A laugh full of fighting desire came out of her mouth, even though her magic power was fading, the heat of her flames was diminishing, and breathing was getting harder, she knew that this was the best fight she had ever had. Then she made a truly ruthless decision, worthy of a dragon.

"Activate the second origin!" The atmospheric mana suddenly began to enter his body, causing him a lot of pain, but that didn't matter now, he only had the power he felt in his head.

"This is what I wanted! One less boundary, and now..." White steam came out of his body as his body took on more diachronic characteristics.

His body was covered in scales that took on a crimson color similar to the blood that washed over him, his hands were now claws, and the fire that covered him looked like it had been doused with gasoline as it had grown even larger.

"Hey... she doesn't seem to mind the draconization," Seone said, noticing that Leona was changing from human to something else as well, her senses told her so.

"But I guess it doesn't matter much, does it?" added Alex, who kept looking at a certain part of Leona that was not yet covered by her scales.

"You're not the only one with an ace up your sleeve!" noticing the shape Leona was taking, as well as the power that was being unleashed, Marie showed the gauntlet on her left arm.

"Focus!" the voice, more like Marie's than Ddraig's, was heard echoing throughout the city.

The thin draconic aura covering her body focused on the horn on her head, causing it to glow with a much more intense golden glow. She discarded her body's defenses, which offered her little protection, to increase her energy output.

The horn was important to a serpent seeking to ascend to the Flood Dragon, for it was not only an organ that assimilated mana but also represented an important part of itself. What Marie's action was doing was pushing her energy to the limit of its capacity, to levels she could no longer withstand.

Her body creaked from the strain, even those with better senses could tell, Leona was one of them, and instead of worrying, a smile appeared on her face.

"Well, I guess everyone is going to do their best now, right?" Leona's words brought a similar smile to Marie's face.

"Yes, this will be my last attack, and I don't think my sword will last much longer, but..." Marie shouted, her sword now looking like a small sun due to the intense brightness.

She used all her energy, all her intention, and most of all her momentum. Everyone could see how the surroundings seemed to sink due to the terrible pressure her body was releasing, but even that was masterfully contained in her sword.

Leona, for her part, focused all her flames on her spear, being a dragon, she was quite comfortable wielding such a long weapon. The spear turned from blue to white, showing how incredibly hot her flames were.

"Secret Technique: Fiery Spear of the Fire Dragon!" Leona charged at Marie, her gaze focused intently on her opponent, the scales on her body disappearing and all her magical power concentrated on this attack, at this moment.

"Chaos of the Golden Dragon!" Instead of swinging her sword, Marie lunged and threw all the energy she had accumulated in her weapon.

Her energy took on the appearance of an oriental golden dragon, opening its mouth and claws at the spear of white flames that spun mercilessly in the air. The two attacks collided, stalling for a second, and in that tense moment, there was only silence before the two attacks competed with each other.

Rolanda had to use something she never thought she would have to use in a simple friendly fight, the eye mark on her forehead glowed as the magical power in her body boiled with power, and she strengthened the barrier knowing what was about to happen.

The two attacks exploded, creating a huge golden pillar covered in flames that engulfed the entire training ground and the two fighters there. Seone started to jump up to check on Marie, but Ron stopped him.

"I don't think it's appropriate for you to interrupt, you should see the result first," Ron advised, his eyes glowing with multicolored lights.

"Well..." Seone sat up, but his crimson life force was whirling rapidly in his body, ready to jump at any moment if something happened to Marie.

"You are strong..." Leona's voice was heard as the column began to come to a halt.

The spectators watched the denouement with interest, wanting to see who had won this final battle.

"Of course, how do you think I got Seone under control?" Marie replied cheekily.

When everyone could see the final result, Leona was lying on her back, her pink hair scattered all over the glazed and scorched earth. Marie was standing in front of her, covered with blood all over her body, she had cracks in her skin, but that was the least of her worries.

"Ah... so if I fuck someone I'll be stronger? There's this cute guy who keeps looking at me, it would be nice to go out with him," Leona mumbled, but everyone could hear her loud and clear.

"Hey Alex, show me your technique," John said, shaking poor Alex who was blushing with embarrassment.

"Just be honest, I guess," the boy replied, causing John to look at him in disbelief.

"What? Too cliché," the blond muttered before continuing to stare at the practice field, or what was left of it.

The entire field was full of potholes, scorched earth, glass, and even some puddles of molten rock. It was a complete mess and Rolanda already felt that she would have to spend quite a while repairing this place, not only that, but it was also expensive, even though she was a princess, she didn't have an infinite amount of money.

But just as Marie reached out to Leona to help her up, someone's cold voice rang out, shattering whatever barrier of potential Rolanda had left and making her look up.

"Almighty Push," a wave of disgust gushed from the ringed eyes of the figure rising into the air, everyone looking somewhat shocked at the guy's chutzpah.

"Well, hello," Yang Peng greeted as he felt everyone's eyes on him.

Months ago, he would have been proud and sure to brag about something, but now he had only a cold look in his distinctive eyes as he focused solely on Marie, who seemed to have recognized him, but she only sketched a smile full of mockery and contempt.

"Oh, the guy with the young master complex seems to have grown a pair of balls in these 10 months, how brave of him to come here knowing that..." A grim, silent but full of absurd killing intent impulse appeared all over the training ground, making Marie smile broadly, it seemed that today had been a lucky day for her.

"...My boyfriend is a very overprotective guy," the blonde finished as a golden ball shot towards Yang Peng.

"Almighty Push!" feeling the threat of this strange bullet, Yang Peng shouted, using all his energy to deflect the projectile, but as if ignoring it, the bullet hit his shoulder and passed through him only because he dodged in time.

"Damn...!" Yang Peng complained about his carelessness, he knew it was dangerous to get ahead of his teacher, but he hadn't expected it to be this dangerous, because he could feel the crazy look that guy was giving him.

"Bad timing, kid," Ron muttered right after he saw Seone rise into the air with his sword drawn and a rather frightening expression on his face.

Yang Peng recognized Seone from the stories his teacher's friend Thor had told him. The horror of being trapped by all of that guy's senses made him tremble a little.

"I'll cut you to pieces," Seone didn't shout his words, but everyone could hear the bloodlust in the young Belmont's voice, even if they didn't feel the edge of a sword at their necks.

"If it's not her, it's probably you," Yang Peng muttered as he pointed his hand at Seone.

"Almighty Push" The push pushed Seone to the ground, but Yang Peng had to quickly step aside to avoid a violent arc of crimson energy that flew towards him at an incredible speed.

"I hate flyers like you, luckily... I know how to shoot them down," the standing Seone charged his sword with his crimson energy, which quickly condensed until it became transparent.

His vitality was already transparent, but he liked the red hue of it, but now there were no more games, he wanted to cut that bastard into a thousand pieces, no matter what ornaments, no matter what.

Because... no one should attack his girlfriend when she's wounded!

Seventh Sword: Meteor," Seone whispered as his eyes focused on Yang Peng, then swung his sword at him in a diagonal slash.

The invisible energy split into hundreds of small sword arcs that flew toward Yang Peng, and even though he moved to avoid them, they followed him, he was trapped by Seone, he had to go down no matter what.

A new battle is about to begin!
