7 Chapter 7. He is the next Emperor - (1)

At Palace Hall:

All the people dispersed themselves as soon as the king entered into the palace. Even the officials who walked behind us left to their respective duties after greeting the prince only leaving us family giving some family time.

Alexander seazle, the emperor sat at the head of the table , Aeinshia and prince sitting on either sides while Andrew Rutz, Master of the Rutz family and his son Felix Rutz sat on the adjacent sofa.

"You were late than the expected time. Did you find any difficulties in your journey? ", the emperor raised his eyebrows in a question manner. Eyeing the prince curiously as the entire kingdom knows the Emperor how he praises the punctuality.

" We were affected by the weather ", the prince replied curtly keeping his face and expression straight towards his father. It was almost middle of the winter and this year temperature dropped down drastically in City Valencia which delayed their travel.

Alexander seazle nodded his head in acknowledgement as he continued to eye his son, softly, for any suspicious moves, "Relax for a bit and get ready for the welcoming party". "Definitely" the prince acknowledged him solemnly. All of them talked for some more time about the prince's stay in city Valencia. City Valencia had the best Institute in the whole continent. The best and practical education was provided. Along with mandatory knowledge, the students also learned the knowledge they are interested in. So,many of the heirs of many wealthy families and the princes went there to learn to enhance both their skills and brain.

After finishing the talk the emperor turned to Aeinshia, "My sweetheart, shall we go for a walk in the east garden for a while. I'm really tired of all this politics and I have to bare the future fake smiles in the party. I think I need relaxation".Just while speaking to Aeinshia Alexander's attitude turned 180 degress. He is more like seeking her permission to spend time with her than asking her to join in. The Emperor was this playful only with his niece, Aeinshia. All the people in the royal palace were aware of Emperor's behavior with the princess.

Aeinshia smiled wide at her uncle as she felt all of it amusing, she didn't remember such a scene to happen in her past life. Probably, he really wanted to spend some time with her now.

"Lead the way Mr. Seazle", saying it she stretched her hand for him to take in which was happily held by the emperor. Everyone knows this uncle and neice pair behavior, so they didn't really mind it.

Prince Evan felt a tinge of jealousy by seeing his father acting like that with the princess but, he really can't help it. Both of them are very close as though they are lovers who can't be seperated even if god wants to. He softly rolled his eyes at the scene before him. So it's impossible for him to enter between them. So he decided to take it slow. So slow that she wouldnt even realize when she fell for him and when she finally realizes by that time she is already fallen hard for him in such a way that she can't live without him.

Imagining it he gave a wide smirk and by the time he jolted back to the reality everyone already left this wide hall except him.

"Enough of this daydreaming. Only actions no more words", thinking it he left to his chambers.

At the party:

The party was held in Sunshine palace. The palace was filled with the limited guests, officials of the royal court and their families. The Hall began to fill as many people came to see the prince while some others wanting to catch the eye of prince.

Today's banquet was not extravagant only for the inner political circle of the kingdom to know about the prince, whi would the future Emperor of the great Seazle Empire. But it sure is something about which people might talk for months.

The Mediterranean-themed decorations gave a clean and serene simplicity that's universal in appeal. It created a relaxed appeal in all-white spaces with gray undertones. It was meant to not attract the attention and keep the things low before the grand announcement by the Emperor himself tomorrow. This party was held to tight the bonds and relationships with the guests and clear any suspicions of the royal officials on the prince for not being a suitable heir in the future.

The furnitures looked magnificent showing the art of its crafter. It was simple and elegant reflecting the characteristics of the kingdom and the royal family.Chattering of people and their lively conversations made the place halls look even more livelier.

Soon smell of delicious foods wafted in the air showing the most delicious foods provided in the palace by the perfect chefs in there.

Every thing was ready. Everyone waited eagerly. Some with anticipation, some confident, some suspicious, some ignorant , some flaunting. The hall was filled with different emotions in everyone's eyes.The very moment making everyone to wait in anticipation was about to come. The first official appearance of the prince.

The grand doors of the hall, which were opposite of the entrance, opened with a clicking sound. Princess Aeinshia and the Emperor came down holding hands. Seeing it was not prince many girls felt disappointed, but they can't show it in the emperor's face, so they managed to keep that smile on their faces.

Soon after them descending the stairs the prince, looking ethereal in his blue clothes, appeared through the same doors. But, honestly it was fit with Aeinshia's sapphire blue dress.

He looked like God himself craved him just like a finely made jade piece. He sure has an attractive appearance. He was tall, well built, and masculine with fair complexion. The most attractive part of his body was his face. One can't dart away their eyes from him and the longer one saw him, the more one could like him. He was very pleasing to eyes. His hair black and smooth.The way his fingers ran through his silky locks made him look hot. Descending the steps he looked like an angel descending from heaven.

Only God knows how many girls might get heart broken in future by getting rejections from him. No wonder if they propose him right now claiming it's love at first sight. Beauty sure creates problems.

He went and sat by the emperor. Soon people from other kingdoms and officials started to gather around them. Feeling suffocated Aeinshia left the emperor's side and went to sit at a silent place.

"wow... it's peaceful here. So noisy, I thought I might die due to suffocation if I stayed there even for a minute more", Aeinshia heaved a sigh of relief understanding silence is golden.

After what felt like forever prince Evan finally got rid of others and went to search for her. It's time for first dance and he want to dance only with her.

"Beautiful lady, can I have your first dance? ", he asked stretching his hand for her to accept.

" But I...I don't know how to dance", she told a lame excuse. Of course both of them danced together for every banquet in past. So she could perfectly dance in pace with him even closing her eyes.

"Take it as an opportunity to learn dance", he gave a broad welcoming smile. He is not the type to back down easily. Knowing his nature, she eventually gave in.

Prince Evan took her to the centre of the stage and immediately the first song started to play.

Placing one of his hands on her shoulder and the other on her slender waist he began dancing. Both of them danced together minding each other's pace. Not slow, not fast just according to the beat. They looked like a match made in heaven.

Many elders thought they will make a good couple while many girls eyes turned green with envy as they eyes her.

"And I thought someone didn't know how to dance", he throwed her dialogue back at her seeing how well she danced.

" I am just following your lead", she replied telling how good he is at making others to learn easily.

"Smart", he told and happy seeing her giving back answers for him. "Of course, what did you expect?" she retorted and the prince smiled more widely if possible.

He liked it, the whole situation, just she dancing and talking to him made him feel like the whole world was revolving around him.

" You look beautiful in this dress".For the first time in this life he complemented her.

"You too my prince", she smiled at him. "Wow... everything was like before. Each word that came out of his mouth, his behavior, everything she is experiencing now was what she experienced before. Since she knew everything that happens that means in this lifetime she thought she can really change her fate.

'My prince'..... it made his heart to beat rapidly once again.

"Prince Evan... Are you free for your next dance".

As soon as the first song ended pretty girls queued up a line to dance with him. Evan didn't know how to respond. He can't reject them on their face nor did he want to dance with others. Great. What a dilemma I'm in!!!

Princess Aeinshia laughed seeing his situation, "Thank you of the dance,prince Evan. I think I learnt enough today. Now please excuse me", she slowly slipped out of the situation.

She went to the buffet to dig in. After all, food was very important. She began filling her plate with sweets.

" How can one dance so good on their first dance. She didn't even come-of-age yet. Sure she is lying", Eva Emmanuel, from Emmanuel family, belonging to the aristrocasts head family, began to speak ill towards Aeinshia intentionally.

"Eva... Lower your voice. She might hear you", Sarah Clark, her friend reminded her not knowing she was trying to provoke Aeinshia wantedly.

" Why... Did I say any wrong? I think it will be more appropriate if I saw she is trying to seduce Prince Evan. Humphh!! ".

Wow... such jealously is really not good for health, especially while eating.

Aeinshia didn't mind it and continued eating. She tasted first bite of her favorite strawberry cake. It melted as soon as it landed in her tongue. Hmm.... So tasty. Her face showed utter joy she received from eating the delicious cake.

Sure one feels good after having their fill. It made her satisfy with herself and with the world.

"Probably the rumors are true seeing her not reacting. Such a lowly wench", Eva commented going over board. Eva really know how to test waters. She took Aeinshia's goodness as helplessness.

Aeinshia walked to Eva with a killing intent on her eyes. Eva was dumbfounded not expecting this sudden change in Aeinshia. while Aeinshia took forward steps Eva began walking backwards.
