Chapter 5 Training

I knocked on the door and saw an old guy with white hair a mustache and long hair being parted down the middle.

He asked me two questions before I could ask anything.

"Who are you, what are you here for,

I responded by saying my name,s Hata Sadou and I'm here to learn chakra control.

He told me right away that if I wanted to learn chakra control from him I would have to become his disciple and train with him for a few years.

Since I shouldn't have to start ninja school for a few years I thought why not and said yes to his proposal.

We went inside and started talking.

"How did you know who I was and that I can teach you chakra control"

"I looked you up in the official shinobi databook"

"That thing is unreliable and inaccurate how many missions did it say I completed"

"It said you completed 400 missions"

"I've completed at least five more than that"

Is this shameless old man really complaining about five fucking missions?

"So on another note what type of training will we be doing before I can learn chakra control"

"Tessenjutsu is a fighting style used with a War Fan (Tessen) "

Is this old man senile he wants me to use a fan what will that do, help me cool down?

if used correctly a tessen can match a sword and even defeat experienced sword wielders

The old man takes me out to his backyard where there are massive oak trees

"What are we going to d-"

"Just wait"

did this old fuck just interrupt me?

The old man points his fan to one of his trees and it is cut down before I can even react

shocked by what he did I'm speechless.

he hands me a training schedule and says "training starts next week come by 5 am"
