Chapter 1: Back to the Beginning: A Second Chance for Lidiya

"Ah, my head hurts," Lidiya said, recalling her pain. "Wait."

"Wait, didn't I die after seeing my husband cheat on me with his secretary? How can I be alive?" She looked around.

Recognizing the familiar room, her eyes widened in surprise. "What's going on?"

"This is my parents' house, where I lived before I got married," she said. "How can I be here?"

Then she looked in the mirror and saw a younger, beautiful girl reflected back at her. Checking the date, she was shocked to discover that she had traveled back in time 20 years.

She remembered how her life had changed after marrying Ravi. A girl who had never done any housework suddenly had to take care of a large family and manage all types of household chores. Because her sister-in-law had a job, she even had to make breakfast for her side of the family since they all lived together.

Despite all her efforts in taking care of his parents and managing the household, he still cheated on her. Her hands clenched into fists.

"Not anymore. I will create my own future," she declared.

Determined, she thought, "I have come back in time. I can use my future knowledge to become rich and independent, so no one can hurt me again. I will also take my revenge on him."

She still remembered what he had said when she overheard him with his secretary.

"Sir, it's been 4 years since we've been together. When are you going to marry me and divorce your wife?" the secretary had asked sweetly.

With an arrogant face, he replied, "Very soon. Her aunt has promised me a big reward to marry her. I'll torture her until she calls her mother for help, and her mother finds out that her precious daughter is suffering because she chose to marry me."

"But that woman can endure all the torture and never tell her mother. However, this won't last long," he had boasted.

"Uncle, Aunt, don't worry. I won't leave you alone either. My mom is my bottom line, and you wanted to use me against her," her eyes turned cold.
