Jeremy woke up well feeling even stronger since he had integrated more of Damon's strength

He looked at his calendar to see he had one more day before it was founders day

He still felt bitter that he could not use the original vampire serum because of Devourer since he was more than willing to give away the skill for the power of an original vampire

"Hey system is there a way to around the serum and become a original vampire" Jeremy asked his system while taking a morning shit

"Upgraded Original Vampire Serum? I know that a enchanced vampire existed which was Alaric before he died but what's a upgraded original vampire?" Jeremy had watched only up to season 5 so he was clueless what came after

Jeremy made the morning vervain coffee while thinking about how he should tell Caroline everything without freaking her out too much

Jeremy didn't think too deeply since he was planning on telling her tomorrow so he had all day to think about what to say to Caroline

He heard the doorbell ring and was pretty sure it was either Stefan or Anna

"Hi Jeremy" upon opening the door he saw Anna looking more stunning then usual

"Hello Anna you do know we don't have school today?"

"Yeah I know but I'm bored and who else would I didn't my free day with then my best friend" Anna spoke with a naive innocent look on her face

"Im not sure about this, I rather have the day alone" Jeremy rejected her offer

"And what brood for the day" Anna retorted trying to grab his arm but was stopped but he was in the house

"So what do you want to do that I can't do alone"

"We can go to the park the cinema then go to a restaurant" she called out the plan she had

"That sounds awfully like a date, you know I have a girlfriend so I'll pass" he was kind of tempted by the offer but he didn't want to be a unfaithful boyfriend to Caroline

"Ok how about we visit a rusty old church instead" Anna asked wanting to hang out with Jeremy and grasping onto excuses to do so

"You mean the Fell church" Jeremy wasn't exactly sure why she chose a place like the fall church but it would help him find the location better when he planned in burning the the place down

"Yeah we could hang out there, it's a cool place that I go there several times I want to show you something"

"Ok lets go then Anna"

They both walked to the ruined fells church which had become decrepit over the years and being burnt down

"I really like this place Jeremy because my mother use to come here and it still feels like she's with me" Anna told him about her mother

"Oh I'm sorry for your loss" Jeremy gave her a hug to comfort her despite knowing that she was alive and right beneath them

"Oh no Jeremy she's still alive it's just that we haven't talked in a while" she said in a depressed tone snuggling her face on his broad shoulder

"But why did you bring me here though" he said retracting his arms

Before he could retract his arms Anna wrapped her arms around his body

"Just one more moment" Anna asked softly embracing him enjoying them moment

"You done yet?" Jeremy was flustered at the prolonged hug turning his head away from her

"Nope" Anna replied quickly, she raised her head to see Jeremy's neck just hanging there

She approached it giving it a bubble with her lips but befofe she bared her fangs into him she pushed him away

"Okay thats enough of the hug"

"What was the push for" Jeremy faked his confusion knowing that Anna probably wanted to bite him but resisted like in the show

"Nothing.. anyway I wanted to bring you here because I felt like it and since you didn't want to go to the cinema or a restaurant"

Jeremy was a bit dumbfounded as he expected a stronger reasoning for bringing him to the location of the tomb vampires

"I also did want to ask you something Jeremy"

"What?" Jeremy felt slightly nervous about what she wanted to ask. Maybe she wanted the Gilbert journal or maybe she wanted to silence him because she found out he was a vampire hunter

"I wanted to ask are you ok. I heard you killed a guy in self defence and I just want to make sure you're doing alright" Anna voiced her concern about him

"Is that all you wanted to ask?" Jeremy was shocked she only asked a question about his mental health

"What else would I even ask? So come on how are you doing I'm just worried as a friend"

"I'm doing fine I try not to think about it but killing that man felt strange I know killing wasn't the answer but then again he was going to kill me" Jeremy used a statement he had prepared incase anyone asked him

"Hey Jeremy don't feel bad about it since you could have died" she replied in a comforting

"Also I would have killed that bastard that tried to hurt you even if he was needed" she muttered under her breath

"I know Anna but I'm just feel guilty about killing someone" he lied smoothly making a convincing guilty act

"It'll take time to forget about this Jeremy but just know I'll be there for you each step of the way" Anna held his hand with her small delicate hands

"Thanks Anna for being there, having a friend like you is really nice" he responded genuinely since he never had any friends in his last life and even Jeremy wasn't exactly a social dude

"Can I ask you a favour Jeremy"

"It depends but I guess I could try"

"Can you close your eyes until a tell you to open them and promise nit to move" Anna requested from Jeremy

"Alright"

Jeremy obliged with her request a bit worried he could get kidnapped but also flustered at what she might do to him

Jeremy was waiting for something to happen until he felt something soft press against his lips and he could easily tell it was hers yet he couldn't back away being taken away by the moment

The kiss lasted a couple seconds it was quick but was getting intense before she parted her lips from hud

"You can open them now" Anna said in her usual energetic voice

"Anna! You know I only think of you as a friend" Jeremy finally regained control of himself

"Yeah I know and I hope you and Caroline have a happy relationship"

"Thanks, then why kiss me" if she wanted them to be happy then why did she complicated things was what Jeremy thought

"Well I like you Jeremy and when you guys do break up I'll be there" she boldly stated

"When? You really think we won't last" Caroline was Jeremy's first romantic relationship but he believed it was going quite well

"Well nothing last forever people fall out of love and people also wither away"

"We'll see about that"

Jeremy and Anna had a awkward silence on the way back and Jeremy was brought back to his house

"Well see you and Caroline tomorrow at the founders party" Anna said as if nothing had happened at all between them

"Ok.. but do you even have a date to bring since I'll be bringing Caroline and not you?" Jeremy asked

"Yep I do. Bye" She said nothing else and left

"Strange girl" Jeremy muttered before entering his house

"Oh hi Jer I'm just making some lunch with Stefan you want some too" Elena asked him not even paying attention to the girl that was there a second ago

"Yeah that would be nice" Jeremy smiled happy that his sister was finally looking happier then before

"Hi Jeremy" Stefan's voice came from the kitchen

"Oh hi Stefan" Jeremy greeted still not too sure about how to act around Stefan since it was a bit tense since he killed his only brother
