Melisa shifted from foot to foot as she waited for someone to answer the door. Zephyra stood beside her, arms crossed, a slight smirk on her lips.
As Melisa had agreed to do previously, she and Zephyra were now here to get the latter a wand. She said she'd wanted to get one to try herself and Melisa thought that was a great idea. Firstly, it was probably a great idea to get the court sorceress's educated take on a magical piece of equipment like Isabella's wands, and second, it would probably do wonders for promoting the thing to have Zephyra own one.
[Don't ever say I'm not thinking about you, Izzy,] Melisa thought with a smirk. [Anyway, I hope she's home. And decent. Please, for the love of all that's holy, be decent.]
The door swung open. Kimiko stood there, resplendent in a silk robe that clung to her curves. Her fluffy tail swayed behind her as she looked Melisa up and down, before turning her eye over to Zephyra.
Melisa's jaw dropped.
