37. Who are you?

Kissing her forehead Mo Xuanyi realized that she was burning with fever, her body was too hot. His eyes turned dark the killing intent in them was obvious. As per Dr.'s arrangement, Li Huan was transferred to the VIP ward. They were alone in it.

As his hand touched her cheek his hand shivered, then he remember "Xuanyi Boy this is the only way we can't take any risk. I have only one daughter. And... An... I'm asking this favor." When Grandpa Li asked him if he can understand what he felt at that time. His voice shivered in middle.

Although he looked tougher on the outside but inwardly how can any person tolerate this type of treatment for her only kin.

Mo Xuanyi closed his "Sorry Huan'er. I thought to give everything best in the world to you, but now I'm the one who is...?" he can't complete his sentence as his voice choked.

His hands traveled to her hospital gown. Although his hands were shivering he knew he had to do it for her sake. Today he felt useless and incompetent.

"It's all my fault for not being able to protect you." He blamed himself.

Just as his hand reached the third button Li Huan snapped and shot open her eyes. Her eyes were glowing golden.

MO Xuanyi was shocked at first the delighted to see her awake. In his happiness he even didn't notice her eye color. "Hunter you are awake." His voice was full of joy, his red eyes twinkled with happiness.

"Wait I'll call the doctor." He informed her and turned to walk out but his hand was gripped by her. Puzzled he looked back. Confusion and shock flashed in his eyes seeing her golden eyes. "Huan'er your eyes...."

"Task. Mo Xuanyi what were you planning to do just now?" she smirked evilly. "Are you worthy of her trust?" Her words confused him more.

"Huan'er what are you talking about. We'll talk about it later. I.. I'll explain to you later." Although feeling guilty he didn't want her to hate him.

Hate, love, gratitude, and anger many emotions flashed in her eyes. She looked at him with complicated eyes. Mo Xuanyi watched her emotions. His eyes turned deep. "Who are you?"

"Uff How interesting? Mo Xuanyi I never thought you are this sharp before. Only some words and you can tell I'm not her." although LI Huan was smiling her smile had no warmth in it.

Seeing her like this MO Xuanyi felt someone clutching his heart. It felt painful. "Where is Huan'er." he didn't want to waste his time on her but he also can't harm her as she was in her body.

This was not the first time Mo Xuanyi saw these supernatural things. He has also been in his childhood.

"Don't worry I'll never hurt her. But you will if you did not leave her alone." Her eyes turned sharp and she glared at him. Her eyes shot golden rays at him but before they reached within one meter they turned and shot at the flowerpot on the side table.

The table broke instant. If that ray reached him then may be he'll be injured heavily.

Li Huan's eyes widened then she smirked "I never thought you have this power even without possessing the legacy." her eyes mocked him.

Mo Xuanyi frowned seeing these events in front of his eyes he felt it was a dream. HIs Huan'er possessed by someone. And he can't do anything.

"Leave her alone otherwise don't blame me." his killing intent which he hide before came out. But it did not affect LI Haun.

"If I say no." she was playing with him, she felt happy and sad at the same time seeing him helpless. But I can't be soft-hearted. "Don't touch her ever again you are not worthy of her love." her voice was full of hatred.

"One more thing if you want him to live long then leave her alone." saying this she disappeared. Li haun who lay there was still unconscious. If not because of the broken table Mo Xuanyi thought it was a dream.

Coming out of the room he called Dr. Lu to come and checked on Li Haun. He was worried if that thing has done anything to her body.

After the fifteen-minute checkup, Dr. Su came out. His face was shocked and looked at Mo Xaunyi like seeing a monster "Ahem... Mo Xuanyi do you have some kind of problem. I mean how could you do it too fast." He whispered.

Mo Xaunyi turned his face his eyes were burning with fire but he smiled "Do you think if I did anything to her it'll end it so soon."

"Then how come her fever gone even I felt the drugged also removed from her body. Did you find the antidote." he looked up puzzled.

Mo Xuanyi didn't say anything but he understand one thing that thing didn't harm Li haun but helped her to remove the drug from her body. He messaged the spot between his eyebrow about thinking of that thing. "Who was she?"

He was sure he saw longing, hate, love, gratitude, anger many emotions in her eyes. Did he know her? Did I harm her? but he has no answer.

Another half an hour Li Haun's report came and it shocked even doctors her body which was several;y damaged was fine now the bounds looked threatening showed normal. Even her healing speed increased. The drug was removed from her body through urine.

It shocked every doctor there. But as it was a private hospital under him they dare not test her body again. Her friends who stayed there bounced in joy. They were genuinely happy for her.

Only Mo Xuanyi knew what happened but it was something that even after Grandpa LI asked him he dare not tell him. Seeing everything was fine he left from there quietly.

Assistant Xu who saw it followed him out.

Standing in the garden the shrill winds slapped his face but his mind was occupied with earlier events. Her warning still lingered in his mind.

"Why did she tells him to stay away? How could he harm his Huan'er?" there were many questions in his mind but had no answers.

Just as his head start to hurt Assitant Xu called him. "Mr. Mo."

"Hmm" coming out from his daze he hummed without looking back.

"Sir there is something you should look at before it was too late." his voice sounded anxious. He noticed there was fear in it also.

Frowning he turned to look at him. He raised his eyebrow for an explanation.

Opening his phone Assistant Xu gave him his [phone his hands were shivering too much that he even dropped his phone.

Mo Xuanyi watched it before it dropped. He frowned depend he had never seen Assistant Xu react like this before.

On the screen playing a video where they found Li Haun. He saw how they kidnapped her and throw her on the bed and how she freed himself before attacking them.

He also saw everything till she fainted. His hand clutched the phone tightly. But as the video continued his eyes grew wide at the next scene.
