Chapter 106: A favour.

Qin Qianyu laughed out loud at the face Wú Haodong was making.

"Come, . . Let this sister measure you and I'll go buy you some new gears to wear!"

Panic flooded Wú Haodong's face as he quickly wrapped the sheet around himself.

Just when he was about to retort, their room door burst opened shattering the lock.

Several men entered quickly only to see a reverse pervert scene, where a lustful woman looked ready to pounce upon the vulnerable and frightened young man wrapped in a sheet.

They all saw the "playfulness" in Qin Qianyu's eyes and the panicked look in Wú Haodong's.

It was truly easy to make assumptions at this point.

The pair looked to the interlopers, Qin Qianyu looked pissed, she hadn't had her fun teasing the young, old man.

One of the men turned to another and asked,

"Hey, wasn't the girl supposed to be alone!? Who the hell is this guy then?"

"The better questions is, who the hell are you people!?"

Qin Qianyu threw out in response. After not getting a single reply from the men, she got ready to make her move.

The men were the ones that had been eyeing Qin Qianyu over the past few days. They had figured she was alone so it'll be easier for her to be taken.

She recognised one of the men. He worked in the kitchen of the hotels lounge and dining area.

She was about to take them out when she was suddenly covered in a sheet. This pissed her off some.

Wú Haodong was pissed too, his favourite clothes sat in a corner in pieces, and to top it of, his disciple was acting shamelessly.

He wanted to vent.

By the time Qin Qianyu pulled the sheet off, she heard the bathroom door close and the room was littered with unconscious bodies.

She missed the entire show in just those brief seconds. She could only imagine the scene of these men getting pummelled by a very naked hot stuff Wú.

A few seconds more, and the bathroom door opened up again. Soon after that, Qin Qianyu's laughter filled the room.

Hot stuff Wú had emerged in a bathrobe that was a little too small to properly fit him.

Wú Haodong paid no attention to her and scoured all the men in the room. He selected one and dragged the unconscious man into the bathroom.

Wú Haodong came out a few moments later dressed in the clothing of the man he had dragged into the bathroom.

Qin Qianyu was a little sad that she wouldn't be able to perv at the young man's body. Wú Haodong saw her look of disappointment and humphed.

He searched the men's pockets and found several things, one of them even had police credentials.

"Seems you've gained the attention of a group of traffickers."

"Oh? . . I've only been here a few days at most. But I'd say it was because of that guy there, he works in this hotel."

Qin Qianyu went over and picked him up. She body locked the man and woke him up. As he did so she applied a soft three point turn on him.

"Stay away from me you perverts!"

"Huh!? . . Yo! Idiot, you came to us remember!? If anything, you should have stayed away from me and him!"

" . . . "

Qin Qianyu huffed, then she started asking the man some questions.

He answered without knowing why,

"These people are a part of a bigger gang from the mainland, they capture and traffic woman along the border counties and they either sell them off to the highest bidders or keep them to make a little profit with western travellers or the brothels."

"So how are they targeting me? . . Was it you?"

"No! . . The gangs supervisor for this city had spotted you at the hospital and followed you here. They asked me for a favour and paid me to make up a story if anyone came looking for you."

Qin Qianyu and Wú Haodong understood this now. He was only here to turn over the room as Qin Qianyu had "checked out" and the police credentials on the man was real too, he was here in case authorities asked any questions regarding Qin Qianyu.

Qin Qianyu reached into her bag and pulled out a special bottle of pills she had made.

She popped one into the mouths of all the men there. Wú Haodong looked at her, his eyes were asking so she answered.

"These pills won't kill them. But, they'll live a very wretched life from this day onwards and nothing will be able to soothe their ailments or woes except death."

Wú Haodong nodded then Qin Qianyu added,

"Looks like it's time to leave."

"Mhm, . . I have to make a few arrangements first."

"Me too. Some of my people are here at the hospital. There might be some retaliation on them because of me."

"Alright, then let's send them all back to the mainland today, are they fit for travel!?"

"Mhm, I'm not sure, I'll check."

Qin Qianyu made a call and she soon got a positive response back. The Zhang family had been given the green light to travel back home so they were planing to leave immediately.

The couple were currently checking out of the hospital and Zhang Mi was going to call her when she called him.

"I'll surely not forget the grace you've shown me and my family Miss."

"This again? . . It's all water under the bridge alright. Just concentrate on your wife. I'll have someone contact you over your new role later."

"Yes Miss, and thank you again. Regardless of how you ask me not to, it's what I should be saying anyway."

"Mhm, alright. I've left the keycard in the lab as the note had said so I'll be leaving too which was why I called. If you happen to speak with that professor again, do thank him for me."

"I will Miss,"

Qin Qianyu ended the call happily. As she did, Wú Haodong's phone rang, he answered it on speaker so that it would affect his voice a little.

"Mhm,"

"Elder, I've done as you asked but no one knows where Xiong Jianguo is. Not even his family know."

"I've found him already. He's dead."

"What! . . Do you need me to dispatch a team to track down his killer?"

"Nope, no need. He was killed by me. He was going after Xiaoyu. He almost succeeded in killing her too, so he left me no choice."

Qin Qianyu went wide eyed, she stared at the young old man with incredulity. Qin Qianyu had understood that he was protecting her from any more attacks be it from Xiong Jianguo's family or anything similar.

Lin Xie was speechless for a while, then says to him outright.

" . . . "

"Elder, what about his family? . . This might cause them to defect over to "his" side!"

"Don't worry, I'll speak with his family when I return. If they go, I won't stop them. But seeing that he was trying to kill Xiaoyu, I think they have already jumped the fence."

"Alright, I understand. Oh one more thing, do you have any relationship with Wu Yihuan?"

"Hmm!?"

Lin Xie explained the situation with Wu Yihuan and the Tang family and everything that has transpired regarding the entire incident.

Qin Qianyu heard all of this and whispered in Wú Haodong's ear, he looked at her puzzled

"Please do me this favour."

She says. He looked to Qin Qianyu's pleading face then sighed and nodded to her.

"She's a close family member, she's always kept out of the spotlight and likes to keep a low profile and staying hidden, never using her connection to me or Gaoshan for her own. I want you to use everything in your power to make those scum lawyers and anyone else involved in all of this pay. Make sure they have no way out of this mess."

"Yes Elder, . . "

"An attack on her is an attack on Gaoshan and me. I'll be back in the country in a few days at the most. Get it sorted by then."

The call ended. Wú Haodong looked to Qin Qianyu for some answers. Qin Qianyu however was on her phone looking up everything to do with Wu Yihuan.

She saw the press conference that Lin Xie had mentioned. She frowned heavily at this.

They had a mugshot of her and an extensive criminal history laid out. She knew that some underhanded tactics were at play now.

"I've only left a few days ago and there's already this mess here. What the hell happened while I was away!?"

She watched how the lawyers spun the story of Wu Yihuan and the old shopkeeper being cohorts.

Then the lawyers attack on Véridique for publishing stories about Tang Mu.

Qin Qianyu sneered,

She watched all the videos from Véridique, she read all the comments that were mostly from water armies.

Then she saw videos posted from a person claiming to be hospital staff spitting on Wu Yihuan while she was unconscious. She also found many other videos posted by the staff at that same hospital doing many things to her, one even showing them turning off all of the machines around her.

Qin Qianyu was pissed that these people were doing so. She made a mental note of all these people, no matter the excuse she'll make them suffer.

Qin Qianyu said nothing as she was too furious. Her thoughts were her own. She looked around the messy room and sighed.

She collected all of their belongings and jumped out the window of the room. Wú Haodong followed suit.

The pair went towards a clearing in the forest. Qin Qianyu found a spot, she sat down and patted the space next to her. Wú Haodong sat down. As she turned to Wú Haodong, she then explained Wu Yihuan's identity and story.

After listening to her, Wú Haodong was both impressed and astonished that Qin Qianyu would go so far for the former commander.

Qin Qianyu brought up an article and sighed as she complained,

"Why would the police let them go just like that huh!? . . Is there anyone in the force that isn't corrupt?"

"I have a fair idea on how they might have gotten off."

"Oh? . . Do tell,"

Wú Haodong nodded and his brows knotted together as he spoke.

"The Tang family have a very long history. They are also an ancient martial arts family but, that's not all. A member of the Tang family is also the current commander of TNT of the four winds and they also have very strong ties to the Xi family."

"Wen Wú Ling's family?"

"Mhm. Her grandfather married a woman from the Tang family. However, she died after giving birth to Xi Susu."

"The Xi family you told me to be wary of?"

"Mhm, that's right."

" . . . "

Qin Qianyu was speechless, so many powers at play, the entire world seemed bigger to her now. Before she was so ignorant of so many things, these families were just one of many things she had no idea existed.

Wú Haodong saw her wandering mind and explained to her his own history and past. The seven families, the creation of the four winds, Yang Mingchun, Lin Family, the Hao and Xiong.

"I've heard Gaoshan mentioned a few times, when I did research into it I found out that it was a mega conglomerate. Are you saying it's yours?"

"It was . . It's all yours now."

"Huh!? . . Why!? . . No! I don't want it, you can keep it."

" . . . "

Wú Haodong shook his head and started to explain but stopped,

Suddenly, Wú Haodong frowned and cocked his head to the side. He grabbed Qin Qianyu and pulled her into his embrace.

He held her tightly as he rolled away from their previous sitting position. He lay up top of her and narrowed his eyes as he looked to the spot they were just at.

"Stupid Dumb Cat!"

Wú Haodong uttered out loudly. The reason he had reacted so, was because of Bai Saan. He had sensed the both of them from afar and came bounding over excitedly.

This of course sent Wú Haodong into fight mode from sensing Bai Saan's stealthy arrival.

Qin Qianyu lay there speechlessly with wide eyes staring up at the handsome face that was hot stuff Wú.

"Old man! . . Is that your walking stick in your pocket or are you Reeeally glad to see Bai Saan?"

Qin Qianyu says underneath the man whose body pressed firmly against her own.

" . . . "

Wú Haodong looked down at Qin Qianyu and his scowling face caused Qin Qianyu to quip again,

"Tsk, what did I just tell you about making that face? . . Now that you're younger you want to destroy everything?"

"Your head! . . And you! Where'd you learn those moves from huh?"

Wú Haodong complained, well, actually he was impressed, but he wasn't about to let them know that he was. However, he was about to be more impressed soon.

Bai Saan flicked his head at Qin Qianyu in response to the question asked of him by Wú Haodong.

"She taught you?"

Bai Saan lifted a paw. Qin Qianyu saw this and added,

"Paw up is yes, no paws means no."

" . . . "

Wú Haodong was truly impressed. He nodded to the Tiger.

"Mhm, keep up the good work."

Bai Saan lifted a paw then pounced around the pair.

"Ahem . . If you press me down any longer you'll have to make me your wife!"

Qin Qianyu says as she bats her lashes at the young man.

" . . . "

"Oh! . . Ah, danger adverted. I forgot all about your dumb cat is all. If it wasn't for him, then I would . . Ah, I wouldn't have done this,

Wú Haodong muttered quietly as he got off Qin Qianyu and helped her up. She paid no attention to his attack on the Tiger and flung herself into Bai Saan's warm fur.

She praised him again for working hard.

After a moment to enjoy the reunion, Qin Qianyu got back on track for Wú Haodong to finish of what he was saying before he went full on rouge in her.

Wú Haodong snorted then continued.

"The reason Gaoshan is yours now is because of this!"

He says whilst pointing out his face then the rest of himself.

"Even though I'm me! Nobody else knows that except a big dumb cat, and a smart arse child that thinks she's an adult!"

"You said genius wrong . . Twice. Right Saan?"

The Tiger looked and lifted a paw.

" . . . "

"It's as you said, I'm dead now, no will believe that I am me,"

Qin Qianyu rolled her eyes then stated,

"Well, I'll just give it back to you then and that's that. Ah, but we better find a different law firm, I don't trust Feng & Xiong, which is a waste since it has your masters name in it."

" . . . "

"Let's not talk about it now. I want to head back to the capital and look into all this mess involving Wu Yihuan."

"Huh!? . . You! . . Maker of all messes! What about me!? What will you do with this mess right here?"

Qin Qianyu didn't even look at Wú Haodong. She just waved him off as she added,

"Let's deal with that when we get to the capital. I'll check you into the hospital there too while I'm at it so I can see the results of the Asura elixir."

" . . . "

The pair start making preparations and plans to head back to the capital.

Qin Qianyu tells Wú Haodong that she'll head back across the boarder the way she came.

Wú Haodong agreed and decided to go with her as well.

"Why?"

" . . Really? . . Does this not ring any bells?"

Wú Haodong gestured at his new look.

My id's, my travel documents, everything! They all have a picture of a damn fossil!"

Qin Qianyu cupped her chin and looked Wú Haodong up and down as she nodded,

"Oh hahaha! Alright youngster, don't have a tantrum, you can follow this sister here."

"Tsk! . . "

The trio set off and headed back towards the tripoint.
