Reaping is my life... Literally.

Ugh... shouldn't have hit those rootbeers hard. I feel like crap, and I probably just sugarcrash. What time is it? It feels late. Where am I? This is not my room! Why is it so pitch black in here?! What happened? I'm alive, thank God, but... where am I? Is this heaven? Or the underworld? Nah, too dark to be the underworld. Then what the hell is going on? Am I still asleep? Is this some weird dream? Suddenly, a screen pops up in front of me, with the words: 'Congratulations! [???] has chosen you to participate in an experiment! '.

What the hell is happening?! The screen extends forming another sentance 'You will be granted the power of [Independent Growing Booster]! Along with this ability, you will be given the class of [Shinigami]. Which means you will have access to all the powers of that of a Shinigami, including your own [Spiritual Energy], [Spiritual Power] etc. However, you must first learn how to control these powers. This will also teach you how to use these powers in battle. Any questions?' I look in shock as I read the text. Wait, aren't Shinigami from an anime I watched?! This was... Bleach... I remember now. But what about my old life?!

"Wait! Don't just assume that I'm ready yet!" I shout out. My voice echoes "Why am I here?! What about my family?!" The screen started to load text 'When you were drinking Root beer with your friends, you had a heart attack and passed out. You died a few hours later. BUT! That's why [???] choose you.'

I died...?! And I'm supposed to just move on to another world?! But before I ask if I come home, another sentence forms onto the screen 'When the experiment is over with, you may return to your life. Do you wish to do so now?'

I pause for a moment. I mean, it sounds like a good offer, and I always wanted to become something much bigger than myself, but I'm not sure if I'm ready. Plus, I have a family that I should try to get back to. I can't leave them in the dark. The screen loads another sentence 'It will be like time never passed when you go back. What will be a year for your world, will be a thousand years in your world. Do you still wish to return to your life?'

I think about it for a second, and I finally come to a conclusion. I'm either going to die or become something big. I shake my head and groan in frustration.

"Alright, fine! Make me a Shinigami!" I say out loud. The screen flashes and a new set of instructions appear.

'Congratulations! You just accepted to become a Shinigami! Your [Zanpakutō], and [Shihakushō] will be given to you shortly. Please wait for further instructions. In a flash, my Shihakushō pops up onto me out of nowhere. The Shihakushō is composed of a white shitagi, a black kosode, a black hakama, a white hakama-himo, white tabi, and waraji. Suddenly, a katana with a green handle appears. Ay, my Zanpakutō!

After putting my Zanpakutō into the sheath, the screen makes another new sentence. Oh boy, what is it now?

'Would you like another power?'

Hmm... I remember faintly that Ichigo had a hollow in him... It gave him quite the power boost. Yeah! I think I want hollow abilities. I can't wait to use it!

'We have given you the basic ability to use your Zanpakutō. Along with this ability, we can also give you the power of a hollow. Now, it's about time we discuss of where you'll end up. Of course, you can end up in Bleach, but [???] feels like you want to be somewhere other than Bleach.' I mean, they are right. I really don't wanna deal with Aizen and the other big bads of the series. It's just so intense. Nah, I wanna be somewhere less intense... And maybe a more comedic, yet dark place.

'Where would you like to go?'

"Hmm... There is Mushoku Tensei, but the mana blast might fuck up my Spiritual Body. Maybe... Hey! You said anywhere right?" I say with a confident tone.

'Yes. where would you like to go?' I smirk, already thinking about where I'm going to go.

"I want to go to hell. Not the eternal fire and suffering, but the one from Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss! And give me the ability to travel to all the eight circles of hell! That would be sick! " After one minute which felt too long in my opinion, the screen loads only two words.

'Locating world...' Suddenly, without any fucking warning, I was dropping from a red sky! I was screaming, trying to grasp onto anything to stop this. But, alas, it was no use. I landed with a thud. And boy did it hurt and I proceeded to yell in pain. After screaming for ninety seconds, someone got tired of my shit.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" A random person says in anger. I get up and rubbed the back of my head. Jeez, forgot how shitty the population is in this version of hell. Well, actually I didn't forget, more or less didn't give a care.

'If you're wondering what you're stats look like, just say the word [Stats]' A robotics voice says in my head, which freaks me out. I decided to do what the voice says. Yeah, yeah, I'm very stupid. I take an inhale and sighed.

"Stats." Suddenly, a screen pops up in front of me with what I can assume was my stats.

My eyes widen, and suddenly realized that I was very low leveled. Ah crap, this sucks! Seriously! If my previous life had taught me anything, it was that nothing comes easy. It sucks to be weak, especially down in literal hell. I remember how things worked in hell. Down here in hell, Basically, there are no rules in hell, except that going to the world of the living, is considered illegal, and if you have enough power or connections, you are considered an overlord. And the way I am now, I'm more or less a bug in a world of anteaters. But I do know that I am no longer  but rather a Shinigami. So I guess I have to suck it up and live with it.

'Quest: Purify 10 [Hollows].

Reward: 3000  EXP

Failure: 0 EXP

Huh? Bruh, I just arrived to this world, can I at least have some time to process this?! I might as well get going. Ah fuck, this ain't going to go well... I jumped onto a building and looked at the hellish city. Suddenly, for a split second, I saw a big muthafuckin' Reptile creature jump from building to building before fading away, like it never existed.

"What the fuck am I getting myself into?"
