In a nice and comfy office room, a blond-haired man was sitting behind the desk calmly and casually as he read some papers while enjoying a piping-hot coffee.

He seemed to really enjoy his time and was looking forward to the day. So when someone suddenly barged into his room, he became quickly irritated.

"I hope you have a good reason to keep your head on your shoulders for barging into my room." The blond-haired man said coldly as he stared at the servant in butlers suit who barged into the office.

"S-sorry, sir! But it's very important!" He quickly answered with a stammer at the threat.

"Then spit it out quickly!" The blonde hollered.

"A-alright, sir! It's the princess, the princess is coming with a massive green thing! They are making a mess along the way and she just pummels everyone who tries to stop her!" The butler explained hurriedly with a nervous expression plastered on his face.

The Ranker cursed as he slammed his cup of coffee on the table. "Damn it! Why there's always a problem when I was enjoying my-"

He suddenly stopped himself and looked at the butler's face properly. "Wait, did you say a princess?" He asked with a serious tone and a thoughtful expression.

"Y-yes, sir. That's what I am saying, she is almost here."

"Good, go quickly and lead the way to her." He ordered as he got up.

"There's no need for that." Suddenly, a voice sounded in the room, making the two turn out their heads to look forward to a beautiful woman with long white hair and a sword tied on her hips standing right in front of the opened door.

She had a calm face and a little smile on her face. It was as if she was finding the show currently unfolding in front of her to be amusing.

"Ah, princess Adori, you really surprised me. I wasn't expecting you at all." The blonde said with a friendly smile as he greeted the princess of Zahard, hiding his irritated feeling from showing outward.

Adori nodded and spoke casually as she looked at his face with a smile. "Indeed, I don't blame you to be surprised at all. After all, it's certainly must be quite shocking to find someone who should have been buried deep in the underground to suddenly pop up. Instead, I admire you that you can keep your cool."

"What did you mean by that, princess?" The blond-haired Ranker stared at her intensely as he said with a slow and heavy voice.

"Hmm, I guess people like you can't understand simple words. Then, since I am feeling quite generous and kind today, I guess I can waste some of my precious time to explain it to you with the simplest wording possible."

"I meant that you are the one who took a part in and planned all of this whole debacle, and tried to bury me in the underground by luring me to a predetermined route with your paid guide. Thankfully, I have anticipated that there would be some scheme from you lot and had prepared myself."

"Hm, are you accusing me, princess? I don't even know what you are talking about paying some guide and burying you in the underground. I simply ordered you to capture a single death worm. Whether you have a problem or not in your journey during the test it's your own problem."

"Now, accusing me, a test administrator of causing the problem is intolerable, even for someone of your position, princess. You understand the consequence, don't you?" The Ranker spoke with a calm and firm tone.

Hearing his response, Adori simply smiled. "It's alright, I also have expected that you won't easily admit to it. However, I don't really care whether you will come clean or not or accuse you, I am simply saying the facts and giving you a warning beforehand."

The Ranker scrunched his brows as Adori seemed to really mean it.

She was calm… too calm and composed in fact.

And that gave him an unpleasant feeling. Did she already set up everything before she came here? Knowing her and how calm she was now, it was most likely the case.

The Ranker was about to open his mouth and say something to gain more information-

Before Adori interrupted his opportunity. "Liu, come here and put down the death worm so this test administrator can see it clearly with his eyes. Oh, also, Xin, record it with your observer. We don't want him to make excuses later on, do we?" Adori spoke with a thin smile.

"Certainly, your highness." Said Liu Guanyi as he appeared next to her while he dragged a long and big green thingy creature that looked quite hideous.

Liu Guanyi tried to push the creature into the room, however, even when he had forcefully pushed the death worm until its slimy and malleable flesh and fat were pressed to the maximum as the door's hinges even creaked audibly.

"I'm sorry, your highness. However, the door seemed to be too small for the death worm to pass." Liu Guanyi apologized with his head down.

"I see…" Adori nodded deeply and seemed to ponder it for a moment.

Before she simply kicked the wall connected to the door "lightly", collapsing the entire front wall of the room and the door along with it.

"Now, it's all good. Just put it down." She said with a grin as she looked at the now fuming Ranker.

Liu Guanyi also had a smile on his face as he was about to put down the disgusting creature. However, the Ranker had enough and stood up straight as he unleashed his powerful aura, stunning and freezing the terrified butler on the spot.

"Princess, any more of this, and you will force me to take drastic measures!"

"Drastic measures? Are you threatening me, a princess of Zahard?" Adori spoke calmly as she looked straight at the Ranker, unwavering of his powerful aura.

Adori continued confidently. "Have you lost your mind? You are merely a nameless Ranker, while I am, a reputable and illustrious princess of Zahard. Do you think you can touch me just because your masters have ordered you to obstruct me?"

The Ranker could only tighten his fists as Liu Guanyi dropped the massive worm in the middle of the room, breaking the furniture and floor as the acid leaking from its slightly open mouth leaked while Adori watched him closely like a hawk.

Adori walked right in front of the Ranker calmly and put on a black spherical object in his hand. "Here, take this as my parting gift."

The Ranker looked at the pocket and turned his gaze at her strongly. If gaze could kill, Adori would certainly die dozens of times already.

Adori only smiled in response to his angry gaze. "I guess it's the last time we will meet and the last day you will live. As I have said before, I have prepared everything before I came here."

"What do you-"

Adori turned around and said. "There will be a High Ranker coming here soon."

Hearing this, The blonde immediately stopped in his tracks as he was completely stunned with his eyes bulging out. If what Adori said was true, the significance was massive!

A High Ranker wasn't a joke!

Seeing his reaction, Adori smiled. "He's a powerful High Ranker from the Zahard family. I guess this floor will see a lot of bloodsheds today. Truly… what a pity, since your demise should be completely avoidable if you weren't so deep into your ego."

"You think you can become a chess player and play in the politics against me just because you are a Ranker? Even the Floor Ruler won't be able to get away scot-free let alone you, a nameless Ranker."

"You are all just… replaceable chess pieces." Adori said with a cold and indifferent voice that seemed to chill the entire room as she walked away with Liu Guanyi and Xin calmly followed behind.

Crack!

Thud!

A crushing sound could be heard as the noise of a falling object reverberated in the room.
