Chapter 1- Awakening

It was late summer and extremely hot outside. A patient lay in bed, unconscious, in a white room.

To keep the patient's interior body safe, the temperature within the room was kept cool and maintained. For three months, he had been in a coma. He was in the intensive care unit. The doctors were unable to determine the cause of his coma and therefore gave up hope of him recovering, but someone was still visiting and caring for him, someone he knew well.

It was a Saturday, and there were few people about. Only the emergency room was available, and the majority of the doctors were absent. They were enjoying a day off. Only a few staff members and doctors from the emergency room were present.

He regained consciousness abruptly, but he was unable to move or talk. His entire body felt shaky. He looked like a someone who hadn't eaten in months. He couldn't even open his eyes. He had no idea where he was or why he had arrived. His thoughts were a jumbled mess. He had lost his ability to think clearly.

His body was lifeless, like that of a corpse. His bones cracked when he tried to stand up straight, so he gave up and rested.

A nurse noticed him as he opened his eyes. She was taken aback to witness someone who had been in a coma for three months with no chance of recovering, wake up. She hurriedly dialed a doctor's number from the phone in the room.

"Doctor, the patient from Room 3 has awakened from his coma."

"Are you sure he woke up?" the doctor inquired, wanting to be sure.

"Yes, doctor," the nurse said, "he opened his eyes and tried to move but couldn't, and he fell asleep."

The doctor called the current president of the hospital after confirming the patient's condition. He was currently undergoing treatment at one of the greatest facilities in the country.

He was treated quite well because the current president of that hospital was someone he knew.

As soon as word of his regaining consciousness reached others, all available neurologists were summoned for an examination.

Despite the fact that he was not the son of a president or from a wealthy family, he was treated like a VIP.

The professionals then assembled and began checking his vital signs, heartbeat, and brain activity using their most up-to-date scanner to scan his body to guarantee his brain and body were not impacted while he was vegetative.

He was left with the nurse and the current head doctor after all of the checks were completed and the results were out, all the doctors dispersed to their respective places.

"How do you feel right now?" The doctor inquired, "Do you recall anything?"

He did not respond.

The doctor was worried about the long duration of unconsciousness since he thought it might have affected his brain.

He didn't want to put any mental strain on the patient. "If you need anything, call a nurse if it's not an emergency, and the president will be here shortly."

"President...?"

He didn't want to think about who the president was, he was going to meet that individual when arrived.

His mind was in a stable state after some rest, and he was able to think about where he was and what had occurred to him. Bao lim was his name. This was the world he previously lived in before being reincarnated in the another world.

He was the unrivaled genius who rose to the throne of the supreme being, surpassing all previous ancient emperors. He was at the pinnacle of that world, barely a step away from the Realm of True Immortals, but his soul was damaged due to an unknown variable during his final breakthrough into the martial void leading to God's domain, and he recovered consciousness in his original body on the planet Prithvi.

He was one of the supreme beings of the immortal world, when he was alive Many people admired and feared him. In the crucible of the Great War, he was forged. The bodies of innumerable immortals and demons were used to pave his path.

He fought for hundreds of thousands of years to achieve the seat of the supreme being. But, in the end, he was unable to climb to the mythical God's domain and returned to the land of mortals, where it all began.

Time passed in his reminiscence, and at some point, the sound of someone walking quickly became audible. Because it was a Sunday and there were few people around, the sound of footsteps could be clearly heard.

When it got to where he was, the steps came to a halt, the door to the room where he was admitted opened, and a woman stood there. Her brow was hot because it was summer and she had rushed here.

Her eyes were teary and she looked like she was about to cry. She stared at the bed, he was awake, and he returned her gaze. Many emotions flashed through their mind as soon as their eyes met.

The nurse in his care of him had left the room, leaving the two of them alone.

"Won't you greet me yue'er after such a long time?" He said, As he stretched his hands.

She jumped into his grasp and began sobbing uncontrollably.
