Romance Dawn at noon (Prologue)

Shank and his crew are sweating, their eyes are bulging. They are staring at Luffy.

When the bandits entered and started to get angry at shanks, Luffy got mad at the bandits and screamed: "Shut up". The bandit leader looked at Luffy with a smirk that immediately got erased from his face.

Luffy was glowing. He was glowing so bright that it was almost blinding. Luffy then starts to run at the bandit and throws a punch at the bandit. It wouldn't be much coming from a kid but Luffy is currently not a normal kid. He is glowing and turning hotter every second. Even the room's temperature is rising. Everyone is getting dizzy as the heat is affecting their minds, some got over their surprise and used Haki to correct their senses.

Luffy looked pissed as his fist reach the bandit's stomach. His punch tore a hole, well, melted a hole into the bandit leader's stomach. His fist was so hot that it immediately cauterizes the wound of the bandit leader.

Seeing the gore, Luffy passes out and falls on his back. Shanks seeing this bulges his eyes and immediately uses is Haoshoku haki to make Makino faint. Although she didn't see much because of the blinding light that covers Luffy, 'It is better to be safe than sorry' thought Shanks.

"Captain," Shanks turns to Yassop. Yassop is holding a chest. Within the chest is a fruit that has lines that point at the fruit's center. It wasn't whole, there is a big bite mark on it. The fruit is a devil fruit that they found while on the way to east blue. It was just floating on the ocean whey Yassop saw it. Shanks wanted to know what kind of devil fruit it was before having someone eat it first. But some kids just opened it and ate it.

Shanks massages his head, 'Garp would kill me for this'. At this point Luffy's glowing body is getting dimmer, the heat around the room returns to its normal temperature. Benn looks at Shanks and warned him "We can't leave him here, without proper control his powers, he might kill someone accidentally". Shank raises an eyebrow, "As long as he doesn't touch someone while glowing, I don't think he'll kill someone". Benn raises a finger and points at the counter. Behind the counter is a cabinet that has a few alcohol insides of them. Shanks looks at the cabinet, he sighs after seeing what Benn was pointing at.

"I guess we really have to bring this kid with us until he can control his powers," Shanks says with a heavy tone. "Lucky, bring Luffy. Benn, take care of the bandits, don't go after Dadan's crew though. The rest of you take some of our sakes, liquor, and wines to replace Makino's stock". "Aye, Captain!" The crew responds with vigor as Shanks ordered them with his proper, serious tone.

Shanks then goes behind the bar where Makino is currently laying down. Shanks checks for injuries on Makino's body. Shanks and most of his crew has a haki on. Even the most inexperienced in haki knows how to at least protect his body against heat. But Makino doesn't know haki. Her body is so hot she looks like she has a fever, some parts of her body were steaming. "Luffy, what the fuck did you become?"

Over their heads, on the cabinets, the previously unopened and full alcohols are now empty. Steam is coming out of the cracks and the burst caps of the bottles. As Lucky used haki to pick up Luffy. And where Luffy's body laid, there is a scorch mark.
