Dark below a chamber of ice and water, grunts of the surviving Team Rocket stayed there and regrouped. These were the followers and loyal men of Ghetsis who though despite the king's effort, wouldn't accept his word. For them, their missing Ghetsis would soon return and that he is hiding, recovering all his power.
Quarrels and jabbers flitted an area of the chamber. People played roughly. They stole beer from one another, pushed, kicked. An army governed by no one tends to cause havoc.
"Silence!" said one of the guards as he approached the rest. Behind him were rows of Team Plasma grunts accompanying two distinct individuals. First was a man with blonde hair and wears a blue cowlick around his head. He has yellow eyes and wears glasses. He wears a long white lab coat, a pair of white gloves and a black uniform with blue outlines. He also wears black shoes.
Second was Professor Sophie, a Team Rocket traitor whose accomplice was killed.
They introduced themselves in front of everyone. Team Plasma was not that pleased when they heard Colress was to be their new leader.
"A few other of us had escaped and followed the leadership of N, the rest are under Zinzolin and his crew. We are trying to collect data of their location so that we could unite with them," said Professor Sophie.
"How can we accomplish our goals if we're in ruins?" said one of the grunts.
"Liberation is impossible--"
"Tsk... Tsk... Tsk..." interjected Colress to one of the grunts. "Have you not learned from your previous failures? It is useless."
"Ghetsis would've wa--"
"Ghetsis lied and left you. Team Plasma, it is not liberation we should set our eyes to but the full capacity of a Pokemon!"
"What do you mean?"
"Pushing the capabilities of a Pokemon to its fullest limits. Once we've succeeded in doing so, we could go beyond and reach new heights," uttered Professor Sophie.
"What I desire is to bring out the entirety in Pokémon potential! If I can accomplish that, I don't care what it takes! If it means the strength must be brought out by the interactions between Pokémon and Trainers, then so be it! If it means you have to use a merciless approach, like Team Plasma's, and force out all of the Pokémon's power, then so be it! And yes, if the entire world is destroyed as a result, then so be it," Colress tried to lift the hopes of the crowd.
"I appoint Professor Sophie as chief of the research, and her assistant, Mary. We shall create a machine that will allow us to harness that power! And of course, our ultimate goal, if not Zekrom nor Reshiram, why not go for the last of the Dao trio? Kyurem! To use it and bring out its potential will help reform Team Plasma!"
"We have nothing left."
Colress chuckled and pressed a button on his holographic Ipad.
A large Team Plasma ship emerged. It was medieval looking but mixed with modern and contemporary technology. It would remind someone of the ships of Team Rocket's Johto ally except that it was similar to those of a Pirate... A steam punk pirate ship. The Plasma Frigate.
Team Plasma had their mouths agape.
They saluted to Colress and Professor Sophie.
"We will unite with Zinzolin and forge a stronger us. For now we be patient and wait... Wait, Team... Neo Plasma!"
The grunts saluted once again as their new uniforms came. They wore a more militaristic uniform: a black officer's cap and a stiff black uniform what is more slightly similar to Team Rocket's outfits. Their faces are also covered for some unknown reason. They retain the X on their caps, but with inverted color. The Plasma coat of arms is also retained, ironically right over the heart.
Though a portion of Neo Plasma would be led by Colress, they had no clue, Zinzolin, who instructs the mad scientists had known where Ghetsis is, and receives orders from him. Either way, Ghetsis was still ruler of this rising Plasma.
This particular was from the games by the way:
