"Did she reach home?" "No she didn't !"
It was 9 and still she hadn't
Her Dad questioned in anger, her Mom replied with fear
So worried she was, not even a knock she could hear.
Dad in anger opened the door,
What he saw,He couldn't think ever before
Seeing his daughter, tears filled his eye,
It could not roll down,he couldn't cry.
She stood at the door, her body full of dirt
And Patches of blood stained her skirt.
While she walked back home ,alone !
A voice called her in an ugly tone.
Horrified she asked "who are you?"
answered "Just a friend to accompany you"
Few more joined, so called friend
Touched her like no friend would intend.
She screamed and cried and weeped and yelped
The street was silent, nobody came and helped
She cried to the moon, she cried to the star,
She seeked for their help, but they were too very far.
"Dad they touched my thighs, they touched my chest"
She cried out loud and couldn't say the rest.
Her dress was torn, the scars were red
Wailing she said "Mommy, I am raped"
Father felt the guilt, for a boy was he,
Mother felt the pain, for a girl was she.
All her mom did was sit and cry
Wishing when her daughter was born, she would die
She cursed herself for a girl is her kid,
Hadn't she been a girl,she wouldn't face it.
Society abandoned her, what did she do?
Will she be served justice? Or will the law abandon her too?
