Parallel Worlds Mission System

I wonder when I started to have this void in my heart.

If I had to take a guess, it was probably at that moment, three years ago... that moment when Korosensei died and I killed my target.

I've never assassinated anyone since, but I always wonder, what do I do with the skills I learned in that class? Even though I want to become a teacher just like Korosensei, there is a place deep inside my heart that wanted more.

Maybe that's why, I selected [Yes].

In a certain dark room, a young boy suddenly appeared. He had long shoulder length hair and a petite build. If it weren't for the clothes he wore being a male student uniform, it would have been hard distinguishing his gender. In addition, the boy had a very weak presence. It was as if he was deliberately trying to hide himself.

However, despite the boy's sudden appearance, he wasn't noticed suddenly appearing amongst the dozens of other people in the room. The room was vibrating and the constant hum of an engine indicated that the room was most likely the hull of a cargo plane.

He is Nagisa Shiota, a seventeen year old senior in his third year of high school. Despite aspiring to be a teacher, he is also a skilled assassin.

Suddenly, Nagisa opened his eyes in confusion and looked around. He noticed that he wasn't the only person looking around in confusion. All of the other people in the room were also looking around.

There seemed to be no commonalities amongst the people in the room. There were old, young, men, women, fit and overweight people.

Nagisa then noticed that there were around a dozen armed men surrounding the crowd with taser guns.

The room suddenly started to get noisy as the crowd started to raise a commotion. Abruptly, a large screen on the wall of the room lit up and a fat man wearing a cap showed up on he screen. He was dressed in a plumber outfit. The man said, "Ladies and gentlemen, be quiet," in a loud cheery voice. The room suddenly went into silence in response.

"Please listen carefully, I will only say this once. You are now on a flight heading to an unknown, uninhabited island in the Pacific."

"Don't screw with me, bring me back now!" A man suddenly shouted and the crowd immediately started to get restless again but one of the guards shot him with a taser.

"The men will be turning up the voltage this time, I won't be responsible for any permanent damage." The man on screen continued to speak in his cheerful voice.

"On the island, there is no food or water. The only way to get off the island is to participate in the game. You may have noticed the pouch at your waist. The pouch contains BIMs, the weapons you will be using to fight your enemies. There are many different types of BIMs so whatever you get will be a surprise! Who you will be fighting? The people around you! You may have noticed the chip on the back of your hand. It can only be surgically removed but if you die, it comes off really easily. To clear the game, you need to collect eight chips." The man said while holding up eight fingers.

While the man was explaining the situation, Nagisa was staring at another screen that was in front of him. On it was a message that read:

[Welcome to the System!

The System is responsible for assigning you, the host, missions that must be completed. There are rewards for completing missions but there are also penalties for failing missions. Rewards and penalties will only be revealed after the mission, depending on the degree of completion, different rewards and penalties will be assigned. Good Luck!]

After reading, another line popped up in front of Nagisa.

[New Mission!]

Focusing on the text, it suddenly changed and stated:

[Survive. 0/1]

Nagisa shook his head in defeat since he still couldn't make sense of the situation or what he was supposed to do. The text suddenly shrunk into an exclamation point that remained in the corner of his vision.

Nagisa then checked his hands and as expected, there was an IC chip implanted on the back of his left hand and there was also a pouch by his waist. He could feel that These were the only things that Nagisa was able to find on his body.

Since Nagisa had the IC chip, he realized the System was probably telling him to survive on the island or to clear the game.

Nagisa suddenly noticed that the exclamation point at the corner of his vision was flashing. He focused on it and then more text appeared in front of him.

[Combat Knife

Grade: Normal

Remark: A novice gift. It is a knife of good quality that can be used in close combat.]

The text disappeared and a knife with a six inch long blade appeared in his hand. Nagisa was slightly packed at its sudden appearance and wanted to hide it when it suddenly disappeared. He quickly looked around but it seemed that nobody had noticed the knife suddenly appearing and disappearing. He noticed another icon appearing in the corner of his vision in the shape of a backpack and realized that it was where the knife was currently stored. He planned to take it out when nobody was around and keep it on his body for quicker access in an emergency. It would also be more convenient if other people didn't see a knife suddenly appearing out of thin air when he needed to use it.

He then opened his pouch to examine his BIMs. The BIMs were shaped like cubes and there was a button on one of the vertices of the cube and a blank screen on the same side. He tried to press the button but nothing happened. It seemed that the BIM couldn't be used on the plane.

When Nagisa finished assessing his situation, the man on the screen announced that they had arrived and the guards started to push the crowd towards the hatch of the plane. Nagisa got swept along with the crowd and despite his resistance, his small frame was pushed off the plane.

Nagisa immediately saw something that was quite familiar and also odd. Familiar because it was such a common sight. Odd because it was something he thought he would never see again- the moon.

Then, his parachute unfurled and blocked his view of the moon.
