Chapter 49: Loguetown (3)

(Roberts: POV)

As I walked arm and arm down the streets of Loguetown with Robin and Alfia I noticed gazes filled with immense amounts of hate and jealousy directed at me.

Mostly from men, but I even got several from some women as well.

Though I ignored every single one.

I also gave quick death glares to the bastards who looked at either Robin or Alfia with lecherous expressions.

Only I'm allowed to do that.

The three of us walked around town and visited several different shops.

Alfia and I treated it like a date, which for us it was.

But we also made sure Robin didn't feel like a third wheel.

Which thanks to my observation haki I could sense she truly appreciated.

Once we were done shopping the three of us found a rather popular local restaurant to have lunch at.

As we were seated at our table by an older female waitress I saw her looking at me. A smirk on her face.

"My, what a popular young man you are. A woman on each arm." She said.

"Well I just do what I can." I replied. "Nothing more and nothing less."

"Well it looks like its working for you." The female waitress spoke. "So, what will you three love birds be having today?" She asked.

"Oh my, you've got it all wrong." Robin spoke up. "Only those two are lovers, I am simply their friend." She said, pointing to Alfia and I.

'For now.' I thought.

But the time will soon come when that will no longer be the case.

Speaking of which I really need to have a conversation with Alfia and see what she thinks about me having more lovers than just her.

I may be a degenerate, but I am not the type of degenerate who would ever cheat on a woman, especially one I love. That's why I'll tell Alfia my true feelings about wanting multiple lovers straight on.

Even if I might end up getting stabbed in the process.

Which I really hope does not happen.

Though if its for permission to form my harem then I'm willing to risk it. Since sometimes a mans got do to what a mans got to do. Simple as that.

To the waitresses words Alfia didn't react.

Which I take as a good sign.

The three of us placed our orders and then once the food came we began eat while leisurely chatting. Overall having a good lunch.

When we were finished we left the restaurant, leaving our waitress a sizable tip due to her amazing customer tip. Even with her small amount of teasing about Robin, Alfia, and I being in an intimate relationship.

But again, it's only a matter of time before I make that fantasy into a reality.

The three of us continued exploring Loguetown, eventually ending up at the plaza where the execution platform stood. The place where Roger died and where he, and the guy who asked him where his treasure was, kickstarted this 'Great Pirate Era' we are currently in.

The same era my crew and I will one day stand at the very top of and bring to an end.

Looking at the execution platform I couldn't help but put a bright smile on my face.

I also pulled both Alfia and Robin slightly closer to me after I did.

"This is it ladies. This is were Roger met his end, and where he kickstarted the era we are in right now." I spoke. "Can't you just feel the energy in this place?"

"Yeah." Alfia replied. "I also feel your hand on my ass." She muttered.

Which is true.

Since my hand is currently on her ass.

"My captain, how forward of you." Robin said.

Since my hand is also on her ass away.

But the moment she acknowledged it I slowly took it away and placed it back on her arm. I then turned to Robin. "Sorry. I got a bit carried away."

Which of course is a lie. Since I just planned that "accidental" ass grab beforehand.

"Though I will admit your butt did feel nice." I whispered.

"My captain. If I didn't know any better I would think you are coming onto me." Robin spoke.

"Who knows." I replied. A smirk on my face as I did so.

Feeling Alfia give my left arm a squeeze after I did.

Turning in her direction I saw her staring at me, a completely blank expression on her face. I can't even sense her emotions with my observation haki right now so I don't know if her expression right now means something good or something bad. Either way, I will not run from her.

Several seconds passed as Alfia and I stared at each other. But eventually we broke eye contact.

"So, you girls want to see anything else before heading back to the ship?" I asked.

"No, I am quite alright." Robin replied.

"The same." Alfia retorted.

"Then let's be on our way." I said.

The two women nodded at my words.

Once they did so we started making our way back to the Black Pearl.

Arriving just as Law and Bepo did.

"Hey you two, how did things go?" I asked them.

"Good." Law replied. He then pulled out a New World Log Pose from his pocket.

"Excellent." I told him.

Once I did so all five of us boarded the Black Pearl.

We then did a quick inspection to make sure no one fucked with her while we were out on the town, and if they did well...we would hunt them down and make them suffer a fate worse than death.

Since the Black Pearl is just as much as part of the crew as anyone.

In no time at all we completed our inspection and saw nothing of out of place with the Black Pearl.

Just as we did so Weisz's group returned to the ship.

*Boom! Boom! Boom!*

At the same time we heard several cracks of thunder in the distance.

Turning in their direction we saw a dark sky quickly approaching us.

Letting everyone know we were in for a monstrous storm.

"That storm looks strong. Roberts, what should we do?" Law asked.

As I looked at the storm I quickly weighed the options in my head and then came to a decision.

"Let's wait it out. We'll stay here anchored at Loguetown for the night and then set sail bright and early tomorrow morning." I explained to the others.

I mean it's not like the Grand Line is going anywhere, and if we set sail now we'd have to fight our way through the storm all the way back to Reverse Mountain. When it's simpler to just stay where we are and allow it to pass.

I don't want to make undo work for my crew and myself after all.

Hearing my words everyone nodded.

We then quickly moved to prepare the Black Pearl for the oncoming storm.

Once we were done everyone headed below deck to wait it out.

Soon I found myself in my room, alone with Alfia.

Standing at the entrance she leaned against it, her arms folded under her chest. A serious expression on her face.

"So, you like Robin?" She asked.

"I do." I replied.

Looks like we're having that serious discussion sooner than I expected.
