One Piece: My Piltover Technology is Far Ahead

West Sea, God Valley.

Numerous warships surrounded the area, the flags of the World Government fluttering in the wind, their black and blue cross symbols glaring under the sunlight.

On the island, two towering mountains stood tall, their steep cliffs sharp as if they were carved by knives.

The sky was dark and overcast, thick clouds gathered as if a torrential downpour could start any moment. Suddenly, a flash of light cut through the darkness.

The space twisted, and a strange light burst forth.

From the curtain of light, a massive ship slowly emerged, made entirely of black metal, its hull smooth like a mirror but not reflecting any light, giving it an aura of mystery and solemnity.

Boom!

The curtain of light in the sky abruptly vanished, and with a thud, the mysterious black ship ran aground in the valley.

Upon closer inspection, a gear-shaped insignia was etched on the ship's hull, indicating its origin.

"Cough, cough... This time, the commotion was a bit much..."

Accompanied by a coughing sound, a figure emerged from the cabin, the surrounding dust unable to hide his light blue eyes.

With short, pink hair that looked both distinctive and lively, and a pair of glasses adding a scholarly aura to his appearance, he stepped out.

"But this impact experiment was a success. This level of impact can't cause any significant effect. Now it's time to try another aspect."

He smiled slightly, patting his chest in satisfaction. With a flow of blue light, his exoskeleton-like equipment seemed to enter a new mode.

But before he could proceed with the next round of experiments, he realized something was wrong. The environment here was entirely different from where his ship had originally docked.

"Again?"

It seemed he wasn't experiencing this for the first time. The man didn't panic, glancing at the monitor on his wrist to confirm he wasn't dreaming before starting to check the ship's equipment.

"Compass damaged, power supply partially damaged, defense system operating normally, no loss of supplies... Not too bad, not as bad as I thought.

But where is this place? Bilgewater doesn't have anything like this... Is it Ionia?"

The man, puzzled about his location, attempted to repair the damaged compass. At this moment, a shout came from afar.

"Hey, kid, are you trying to sail away from here? Give it up, that's impossible. The navy has already surrounded God Valley, and no ship can leave here. Ha ha!"

On the cliffside, though steep, there were several natural rock platforms. On one of the lower platforms, a large, somewhat exaggerated face appeared.

A large-faced man lay on the cliff's edge, waving towards here, while another person held him back to prevent him from falling.

As the term "God Valley" entered his mind, the man realized something wasn't right, such as the language being spoken here wasn't one he usually used.

However, he was proficient in many languages, so it wasn't an issue.

The man's name was Cidriel Orlan, and as expected, he had no parents.

After finally succeeding in his graduate studies, he encountered a restart event just before graduation.

His soul came to the world of League of Legends - Valoran, specifically to the city of Piltover, a place of advanced trade and technology.

This time, Orlan was granted the double blessing of being an orphan.

On this magical continent, there were many mysteries. One night, Orlan discovered his talent - dreams.

This was why he first confirmed if he was in a dream world.

Every night, he would dream, unlike ordinary people, Orlan's dreams seemed to connect to fantastical places, even transcending the limits of time and space in some areas.

Through countless nights, his knowledge grew rapidly, and he gradually emerged in Piltover as a rising star, with a reputation close to Heimerdinger's.

Heimerdinger held a significant academic position in Piltover, and all of it was genuine talent and knowledge, which was the highest praise for a newcomer.

Previously, Orlan had personally sailed to Bilgewater to purchase some special materials and planned to negotiate a new business deal. Unexpectedly, during an idle experiment, Orlan seemed to have encountered another mysterious event.

Even his body underwent some changes in the process, becoming much younger, returning to the appearance of a sixteen or seventeen-year-old.

Due to his dream ability, Orlan had an exceptional memory. Even after over twenty years in Valoran, he remembered some things from before, including the term "God Valley."

But only major events, like the final result of a certain war.

He couldn't recall the specific details.

The people who had spoken to Orlan were two. Besides the strange, big-faced man with explosive hair, there was a little girl, both looking dirty, with a target drawn on their clothes.

"Don't just stand there, kid. My goal is to survive. You don't want to wait here to die, do you? If so, I won't waste my time here. Ha ha!"

After making sure Orlan noticed him, the big-faced man stood up and made a strange gesture, continuing to wait for Orlan's response.

"First, let's confirm one thing. What are your names?"

"My name is Ginny, and this is my big brother Ivankov. Is that really important? Also, kid, shouldn't you tell us your name? Or is your name just 'kid'?"

Ginny asked while stuffing food into her mouth, the blackened food looking unappetizing, yet she ate it with great relish.

"Just call me Orlan. If you have anything to say, come down here. If your goal is to survive, there must be a plan, right?"

With the familiar name and location, Orlan could already judge the time and specific events, confirming where he had ended up.

Compared to the initial land of Valoran he had guessed, this place was terrible.

Ivankov had not yet become the King of the Okamas, but his face was already distinctive enough. According to Orlan's memory, Ivankov must have escaped successfully; otherwise, there would be no future Okama King.

However, Orlan didn't intend to follow them directly. It's better to rely on oneself than others. Only he was reliable. His presence here was already a variable, and placing his future in someone else's hands wasn't wise.

Orlan remembered some details about God Valley. Whether it was Rocks or Roger, the great pirates, or Garp from the navy, or even one of the Five Elders, Saturn, almost all future notable figures could be seen here.

And they had one thing in common: no one cared about the ordinary people on the island. To avoid being erased by the World Government, he had to rely on himself.

Orlan needed Ivankov and Ginny to provide some specifics about the island to develop his strategy. Given enough time, the supplies on his ship could handle the situation.

Ivankov approached him for a simple reason: he knew that he and Ginny alone couldn't escape, so they needed helpers to form an escape team.

Whether slaves or the original residents of God Valley, they were all prey for the Celestial Dragons, giving them a common goal.

While searching for companions, they were drawn by the noise here. When Ivankov and Ginny arrived, they saw the black ship that had completed the crossing process.

Using trees and vines, Ivankov and Ginny slid down from a gentler slope, coming to the base of Orlan's ship.

The black hull was unlike the mainstream ships at sea, and the metallic sheen was rare.

But before they could think too much, Orlan threw down a rope ladder from above. With a glance, the two climbed onto the ship's deck one after the other.

The meeting wasn't friendly. As soon as they stepped onto the deck, it opened up, and two black cannons extended, aiming at them.

"Don't worry. It's just my ship's automatic defense mechanism. Come on up. As long as you don't make any aggressive moves, they won't attack you."

Seeing the bewildered Ivankov and Ginny, Orlan motioned for them to relax.

The seas around Valoran weren't safe, so Orlan's ship was naturally equipped with heavy firepower, giving him the confidence to let strangers aboard. In a way, it was also a reminder for strangers not to act rashly.

Panic flickered in Ivankov's eyes but quickly turned to joy. Meeting someone with many weapons wasn't a bad thing in this situation.

"Don't just look around. If needed, I will put them to use. Now, tell me the information you have."

Orlan could see what Ivankov was thinking. A few weapons didn't matter to him, as long as they were useful.

In this situation, sharing some supplies for the ultimate goal was no problem.

"I'll explain. You probably don't know this. In short, the Celestial Dragons organize such an event periodically.

Disobedient slaves, criminals, or natives of the chosen country become their prey.

For three weeks, the entire island's inhabitants are slaughtered, and the island becomes new territory for the World Government."

Ginny explained, adding that the Celestial Dragons' selection and event preparation took time, and the journey to the destination also consumed time. This timeframe gave Ginny and Ivankov a glimmer of hope.

"The Celestial Dragons award prizes to the event winners, and those prizes are our key to escape."

"Prizes?"

As Ginny explained the plan, Orlan checked the ship's equipment, confirming what could be useful to avoid unexpected issues.

"That's right. I'm an expert in theft and eavesdropping. Two prizes are particularly important: the most powerful Mythical Zoan Dragon Devil Fruit and the Paw-Paw Fruit that can send oneself or others flying to distant islands. With these, we can escape, and if lucky, we might take dozens more with us."

Ginny waved her hand towards the sky, trying to boost her confidence.

"Hey kid, that's our plan. Can the cannons on your ship be disassembled? The prizes are in the center of the island, and we need to prepare well. We need more people..."

Ivankov examined the items on Orlan's ship with great interest, as everything here was new to him, from the special materials to the equipment on board.

Ginny, while less obvious, couldn't hide her curiosity.

"Those weapons aren't suitable for mobile use. Follow me. I have something useful, and I'll share my thoughts.

Just a heads-up, don't touch anything randomly. Getting injured wouldn't be good."

Orlan led them to the cabin. Following his instructions, they cautiously followed him.

The automatic defense cannons had some effect; despite their curiosity, Ivankov and Ginny didn't touch anything, temporarily burying their questions.

With parts of the power system damaged, the cabin was dimly lit. The unknown environment made Ginny nervous, but she continued,

"I've already sent the message out, hoping the prizes attract others. That's all for now. Do you have anything to add?"

Ginny and Ivankov's plan lacked details, as the two of them couldn't succeed alone, so it was just a rough framework.

"First, we can confirm that ordinary ships can't leave here, right?"

"Yes, the navy has surrounded the area. I don't know how strong they are, but even flying out might be difficult...

Your ship looks powerful, but it can't withstand that firepower."

Ivankov's expression darkened. Their plan found a glimmer of hope in desperation but didn't fundamentally change the situation.

"Then, what do you think of this?"

After walking through a corridor, Orlan returned to his workshop, taking out a pair of spherical objects from a box on the table and securing them.

The surface of the spheres wasn't just metallic but covered with intricate golden decorations, presenting a precise mechanical pattern as if telling an unknown story.

With a switch pressed, the spheres cracked slightly, revealing a blue glow inside.

Under the confused gaze of Ivankov and Ginny, Orlan casually picked up a screwdriver from the table and placed it at one end of one sphere.

In the next moment, gears whirred, and brilliant blue light converged like ripples, assimilating the screwdriver. The gears on the other sphere began to rotate, and the port lit up.

As the blue light reassembled, the screwdriver appeared intact on the other sphere.
