Arrival

The drop ship slowly approached the blue planet and slowly started to gain momentum as it entered the atmosphere. On that day many people saw a blazing trail in the sky as the ship flew like a meteor at an astonishing speed leaving a visible trail that could be seen from a distance.

On a quiet island in South Blue:

A pink-blonde-haired young girl carrying a flower basket was walking near the edge of a dense forest. It was a peaceful day with bright sunshine and clear skies, she started to sing blissfully while picking up flowers. She suddenly heard a noise and looked up at the sky when she spotted something strange in the sky. It was a bright glowing object moving at an incredible speed through the air. She watched it as it descended rapidly crashing into the dense forest nearby with a loud explosion. The animals and birds ran away quickly after such a commotion in the peaceful forest. She was shocked and curious to see such a scene for the first time in her life. Gathering some courage, she headed into the forest toward the direction of the crash.

She could see a massive crater caused due to the impact and an object the size of a small ship in the center. As she got closer, she could see that it was black in color and shaped like some kind of advanced machinery. Suddenly a small door opened, and a strange, glowing light spilled out from inside. Rouge approached cautiously, unsure of what to expect. She entered the vessel and was shocked to see complex and alien-looking structures. After curiously following the well-lit corridor, she found herself at the center of the ship when she suddenly spotted a small human-like baby boy curled up in a fetal position inside a protective cocoon glowing in blue light.

The baby was looking at her innocently, he had black hair and crystal blue eyes. She was unsure of what to do and had many questions about the child's origins. Who is this child? Where did he come from? Is he a human or some kind of celestial dragon?

She was brought out of her thoughts when she heard the child's cry. Without hesitation, she approached the child, and the cocoon retracted as it sensed the girl approaching and a pillar carrying a white diamond-shaped object with an 'S' symbol appeared beside the cocoon. She picked up the child lovingly and held it close to her chest. Her motherly instincts were tingling and she knew she had to protect the child at all costs as she was also orphaned at a young age.

She carried the baby and diamond-shaped object with her as she continued her journey through the forest, towards the direction of her village. The baby seemed to sense her love and care and stopped crying as soon as she held it close.

When she arrived at the village, she could see a lot of commotion. The bright light of the meteor-like object attracted the attention of the villagers and they were heatedly debating if it was some new weapon of the Marines. She chuckled when she heard such discussions and went straight towards her home.

On her way, she met her neighbor Aunt Lilly, "Rouge! Didn't I tell you to not visit the forest alone? There might be dangerous beasts lurking in the dense forest, you are always making me worried. Wait!! Where did you find this baby?"

"Aunty Lilly, I am not a child anymore, you should not worry too much. I found this abandoned baby in the forest and I couldn't leave it alone. So, I brought him with me." She said with a smile.

"What crazy bastard left their child in a forest??? You are so precious Rouge, you did well. If you need help don't hesitate to come to me. I am old now but I have taken care of you since you were young." She said and took the baby in her arms. The Old lady was amazed and intrigued when she saw the boy curiously looking at her, the crystal blue eyes and the cute looking face, she was sure that he will become a heartthrob in the future. Who left this cute child in the forest? If she finds him, she will give him a long lecture.

"Have you decided on a name for the baby?" Lilly asked.

Rogue thought for a while and said, "How about Portgas Nova?".

The baby started giggling and waving its arms when he heard the name. Hence, it marked the beginning of the Kryptonian Portgas D. Nova's journey in the One-Piece world.
