One Piece: I AM LUFFY BUT A LITTLE DIFFERENT

"Hey, so I have come here now what should I do?"

A man sitting on the boat touched his chin in confusion as he asked a serious question to himself.

"No, first of all, who am I?"

"Why can't I remember about myself?"

The man stretched his head toward the sea below him and seeing that monkey-like face, he knew that he had become Luffy.

It's just that he didn't know who he was before.

He remembers One Piece. He remembers the world where One Piece was just a manga.

It's just that he doesn't have any identity.

He doesn't know himself. And, that creates a serious situation.

Because he doesn't have any emotions attached to his identity since he doesn't have any identity.

"So, am I just Monkey D Luffy from now on?"

"I don't know my dream but my goal is to become the Pirate King and return this straw hat to Shanks."

Just when he said that in a loud voice, the Sea King underneath the sea got out and fiercely roared at Luffy.

Luffy clenched his fist and pulled it back. His arm started stretching until it reached nearly ten meters away.

Finally, he pulled his fist toward the Sea King at an extreme.

His fist punched the Sea King in the face, slamming it onto the top of the ocean.

"Good!"

Luffy brightly smiled and pulled back his fist. Suddenly, a strange blue screen appeared in front of him which made him stunned.

"Huh? Huhhhhhhhhh?"

Luffy simply didn't react fast enough at first but when he actually realized that the system's voice was ringing in his mind while showing the system panel in front of him, Luffy was stunned.

His jaws dropped to the ground as his eyes widened.

"I got the system. Wait, what kind of system?"

His first reaction was surprise but his second reaction was excitement.

After all, what does having a system means?

Shortcut!

Yes, he could still get as much as powerful as the original Luffy without the system but with the system, he could take some shortcuts.

There were many things that he could avoid such as mercy of his enemy or depending on luck to survive.

After all, Luffy was almost killed by Crocodile twice but survived in the end.

So having the system could help him get stronger faster.

But he didn't know what kind of system was this.

Upon hearing his confusion, the system responded in a calm manner.

Luffy stared at the screen with confusion for a moment.

"Wait, does that mean I have to reach a certain power level to awaken Haki?"

The proficiency got increased by one point but it didn't make any difference.

So, he kept pressing until it reached twenty. Only then, he felt a strange change in his mind.

Now, he couldn't just feel the wind but even the subtle wind that hasn't even been generated.

Feeling this change, he excitedly put more points into his Navigation.

Finally, he got exactly what he wanted. But, his eyes shrunk the next moment. He quickly changed the direction of the sail.

The boat slowly changed its direction and went to the right side.

After a few minutes, Luffy turned back and saw a huge dark cloud. He breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thankfully, I wasn't stupid enough to put all my Proficiency Points into my strength. I don't want to die before even starting my journey."
