Chapter 2: Of Mothers, Akira's pondering

Sakura had always been a quite child. A bit aggressive at times but quite, she reminded Akira of Shouta, her first child, a son she hadn't seen in the past five years....

He must be 25 now, she thought, a pro-hero no less. Happiness was now all that she could desire for him and he deserved it too. Always helping people and being the kindred soul he was. She chuckled, Shouta would hate being called that.

She looked at Sakura now, her pink hair, green eyes, and soft features were scrunched up in a frown, Akira could tell the girl was concentrating hard.

Sakura had requested to play a game of chess with her this morning, she had agreed. Her daughter was a bright child, too intelligent for age that it scared her infact and playing chess with her was like playing chess with an adult.

Was her daughter's quirk based on intelligence?

The three year old made her next move, she smiled as she did. The smile brightened even more as she said her next words

"Check mate" and Akira lost the game.

"Awww, but that's not fair kura-chan, you always win!" She faked wined.

Sakura giggled "you need to work harder mama and see-" the 3 year old took out a sheet from under the desk " - I scored full marks in my test again! Can start middle school now?"

Akira signed, why did Sakura had to come back on this again? She and beckoned her daughter towards her, the girl obeyed and sat on her lap. " I told you before Kura-chan, you are not allowed to skip schools or-"

" but Mamaa-"

She raised her hand "No 'buts' Kura-chan, I know you are smart but there is a limit too? You know the rules, darling, don't you? No skipping schools unless you reach the age. Now go bush your teeth and off too bed!"

Sakura pouted but reculently agreed, waving all the way towards the bathroom "Goodnight mama"

"Goodnight, my darling"

Once the girl had left, Akira signed and put her head in her hands. Only if Shouta was here....

Sakura: Mumaa, what is nii-san's hero name?

Akira: He is called Eraserhead, darling

Sakura: Eraserhead? But why? Does he erase people!? Like he erased you from his life?

Akira: Chokes on her spit

You shouldn't say things like that, Kura-chan....
