Obsessive Stalker

Natalie's POV

I was having a nice dream when I suddenly felt someone sitting on my bed and softly whispered on my right ear.

"Sweetie, it's time to wake up. I bet you don't want to be late on your first day of school, right?" my mom asked.

I didn't open my eyes because I'm still sleepy and I don't have enough energy to get up from my precious bed.

I thought she was going to wake me up once more but I was wrong because she suddenly caressed my hair as if she's trying to make me go to sleep again.

Mom, what do you really want me to do?

I slowly opened my eyes and saw her looking at me as if I was the most adorable thing that she has.

"Good morning, sweetie." She greeted sweetly before tucking a single strand of my hair behind my ear.

"Good morning, mom." I answered while looking at her sleepily.

"What's our breakfast for today, mom?"

"Your favorite," she didn't need to say another word because I immediately got up from my bed and went down straight to the dining room where I saw my twin brother and dad eating their breakfast.

"Good morning, babe!" My twin brother greeted while showing off his perfectly white teeth.

I don't know why he's calling me with that kind of creepy endearment but I just ignored it since I don't really care about the things that he do in his life.

As usual, I gave my dad a peck on his cheek after greeting each other before taking a sit on my chair.

I was about to eat my mom's croissant when I suddenly felt someone fixing my hair into a bun.

"Your hair's messy again and I bet that you didn't also brush your teeth yet after hearing from mom that she made your favorite bread." My twin brother said while tying the ponytail in my hair.

"Hey, when did you start learning how to fix someone's hair into a bun?" I asked while looking at him but the jerk just winked at me which made me roll my eyes at him.

Annoying.

After tying my hair, he took the glass pitcher filled with lemon water and poured it on my empty glass.

I was just looking at him while eating my favorite bread when I heard a camera shutter. I looked at my right side just to see my mom holding her phone while smiling.

"Mom, you took a picture of us again." I whined because she was doing it every single morning and then she'll post it on her social media account wherein most of her friends are my friends and classmates. She keeps on adding them and I don't know why.

"What? It's just another collection of mine. You look so cute here, sweetie!" She answered which made me sigh. Oh well, that's my mom for you.

"Babe, I'll take you to your school today, alright?" My twin brother said before drinking his coffee.

"You don't have any classes?" I asked.

"None, babe. You're the only one who's on my schedule today." He answered while smiling at me.

You see, although we're twins, my brother is already a university student taking up a course in Medical Laboratory Science while I'm still on my 12th grade in senior high school. I didn't become a repeater, it's just that he's too blessed with intelligence that why he has accelerated for one year in his studies. He's also a multitalented human being. Let's just say that my brother has a jack of all trades trait or something like that.

"I thought you're going to prepare for your report today, Nate?" My dad asked him.

"I've already finished it last week, dad." My brother answered.

After eating my bread, I drank the lemon water that my brother poured for me before getting out of my seat.

"Are you already full, sweetie?" My mom asked which made me nod.

"Mom, can you please prepare my lunch including my favorite bread?"

"Sure thing, sweetie."

"Thanks mom!" I answered before going back to my room to prepare myself.

After doing all of my routine preparations for school, I went to the living room just to see my brother in his plain white t-shirt and brown khaki shorts. He looked at me as if I was the most gorgeous person he's ever seen.

Okay, that was just me being narcissistic. However, there's really something from the way he stares at me that I just can't point out.

"Sweetie! You look so pretty today." My mom said that made me look at her direction.

"Mom, please don't state something that's already obvious." I answered which made her and my dad laugh.

"You're really my daughter."

"Of course," I gave my parents a peck on their cheek before saying goodbye.

"Let's go?" My brother asked which made me nod as an answer.

"Take care, sweetie!" My mom said before giving me a flying kiss.

My brother opened the passenger door for me before letting me enter his car. Yes, he has one since he's the only one who knows how to drive between the two of us. I also wanted to learn but he won't let me since he said that he'll be my driver for as long as I want.

I was suddenly surprise to see my brother's face close to mine.

"What are you doing?" I asked while looking straight at his eyes.

He didn't give me an answer, instead, he just gave a smirk which made me feel irritated.

What the hell? I feel like I want to strangle him right now.

When I heard a familiar sound of a click, I looked at my seatbelt before looking back at my annoying twin.

"I was calling you to put your seatbelt on but I guess you were too lost on your own thoughts." He answered while trying not to laugh.

Oh my God! I swear he's going to see his grave very soon.
