Chapter 3

I think I did pretty good on this chapter and we can say goodbye to the first arc. I haven't planned who's going to be apart of Obito's Team beyond this point so recommendations would be great.

Besides that tell me what you think of the chapter and give me a comment. I like seeing them. Also I hope I cleared up some of the confusion on Obito's abilities.

Chapter Start

So he's brought that girl to school with him. Wonder how Sona going to react if she's from the church. Obito thought walking with a slow gait to the school and happened to catch Issei as he was walking in with Asia.

Nothing more of note had happened yesterday. He was looking around for the next member that would be apart of the new Akatsuki. He was looking at everyone. To him anyone could be a Devil and he could be none the wiser. He grimaced at the thought alone.

The grimace did not lift when a young girl stepped before him with reddened cheeks. He almost sighed, dead eyes looking over the girl. She wasn't bad looking but that wasn't the problem.

"U-umm," and here it comes. The stuttering confession of their love followed by a bow followed again by asking with the sweetest voice possible to be his girlfriend. Honestly at this point it was more annoying than anything. "I really like you a-and—"

"Not interested. Find someone else. It isn't you it's me." He said quickly, walking around the girl and walking away. It would be better than for her to go ahead and get over it and not having to say her whole love declaration.

All around him were whispers of yet another girl he rejected and some thinking they still had their own chances to ask him out. How annoying. Regardless of it he was able to ignore them and keep on with his day. More important things needed to be settled.

School was as boring as usual for the Uchiha but the day seemed to go by quickly and nothing unusual seemed to happen, at least not yet. The only thing that changed were more rumors and boys lusting over the news girl Asia.

He stopped in front of the Student Council Meeting room where Sona was waiting for him with crossed arms and a blank expression.

"You wanted me to meet you here?" He asked. She had told him to meet her here after they shared lunch together during lunchtime. When he asked why she simply said that he would see before walking away. He was curious which was the only reason he came.

"Yes," she answered pushing up her glasses to her face before turning around and gripping the door handle of the room. "I suppose it's time for you to meet my peerage is all. You were curious to see what they are like, right?"

Obito nodded. He was curious as to why some would want to be in these peerages serving a king and how a king would pick up members. The only way to see that would be to look upon one and nothing would be better than looking at Sona's. He felt she was type to do everything for a reason.

She opened the door and his eyes landed on multiple people in the room. Most of them he'd seen in the hallway before on his way to his next class.

A girl wearing glasses with long black hair, Tsubaki Shinra; who Sona said was her queen.

A beautiful girl with white hair and blue-green eyes. Momo Hanakai, a Bishop.

A slim girl with long brown hair. Reya Kusaka, also a Bishop.

A beautiful girl with shoulder-length, reddish-brown hair and brown eyes. Tomoe Meguri, a Knight.

A tall girl with blue, shoulder-length hair. Tsubasa Yura, a Rook.

A short girl with brown hair in long ponytails was Ruruko Nimura, a pawn.

And lastly, a young man with short blond hair, currently glaring at Obito. Genshirou Saji, another pawn.

He received warm welcomes from everyone but Saji who kept his glare locked on Obito as Sona explained why he was here. When she said that he was staring with her Saji exploded immediately.

"Y-you! Pretty boy! What have you used to charm Kaichou?!"

Wasn't he being a little too dramatic? And pretty boy? The Uchiha still wasn't used to that. He supposed he looked good without scars riddling his face.

"We have no relationship. She saved my life." He answered factly but the look on his face never changed. Obito didn't know what was with this guy.

He was saved from the glare by Sona who had her pawn by the ear. "I told you to be nice to our guests, didn't I?"

"Ouch! Y-yes, Kaichou!"

She left go of his ear. "Then behave yourself and act with modesty."

"Yes, Kaichou."

Obito decided it was his time to leave so he adjusted the bag on his back and turned around. "I have a place to be. See ya, round." He left before Sona could even protest.

With that out of the way, the Uchiha once again donned his Akatsuki attire and entered his Kamui Dimension via his right eye. Once full inside he released the Genjutsu he had on 'Yuuma' and watched her eyes opened all of a sudden. Fear and shock marring her features she shot to her knees only to fold in pain and fall back to the ground on her face.

She saw something in front of her and follows up until she meets those red eyes. Eyes filled with deer she crumbled before him and bowed her head.

"Please don't kill me! Don't stab me! I'll be good!"

Obito raised an eyebrow. Maybe the Genjutsu was a bit much on his part but she did deserve it. If she liked to see others in pain then it was fair for her to experience it herself.

"Calm down. Now." The commanding voice he took was enough to quiet her and she looked back up at him to see what he'd do. "What do you think your purpose is? What do you live for, child?" His Madara voice had fully come out now but it was necessary. He needed to understand the motives behind the three factions and he supposed he'd start with the one he held on his whim.

A look of confusion crossed her face before she looked at herself, then back at him. "It's to show that Fallen Angels are the best race. That's my purpose. To make the Fallen Angels the best and most powerful race."

"Is that all your worth? Is that what you really want to do for the rest of your existence. Killing other races to show yours as superior and then watching as your own die in similar fashion all because you want to show that your are the best. Do you not think that there could be other ways to show off your factions power without resorting to violence?"

A fire lit in her eyes and she wobbled to her knees, ignoring the pain in his body. "You don't understand! I don't know what race you're apart of but wars between us factions have happened for a long time! Us Fallen Angels aren't the only ones that start wars all of the others are just as bad!"

Obito knew she had experienced war despite her youthful appearance. "A world full of war, of hate, of rage, of death, and of fear. As long as one loves they bear the risk of hate. As long as there are victors there also has to be losers. To protect something precious, another has to be sacrificed. A world like that; like this has to be eradicated."

Visions and memories came to Uchiha.

"You're Obito Uchiha! The one who dreamed of becoming Hokage!"

"Save the world, Obito!"

"My goal, no, my dream is to live in a world of only peace and happiness." He raised his hand to the red clouds on his black cloak. "I'm creating an organization where every race can come together and show the world that true peace can be attained. The road will not be easy and your safety isn't guaranteed."

"A dream changing the world isn't changing it at all. It's only covering it up!"

"I look forward into seeing the man you can become, Obito."

He held out a hand in front of his cloak. "I'm creating a new dawn; an organization dubbed the Akatsuki. An organization with the goal of getting rid of hatred, of death, and of strife and have all races come together to live peacefully. You are no longer a Fallen Angel; only a warrior of peace. For peace. You are the first member of the organization; the Akatsuki."

He reached inside his own cloak and pulled out a seal. It activated in a puff of smoke and a cloak the same as his was before her. He had made some to give to members hat he would get to join his organization. He let the cloak fall on her as she gave him a bewildered look. Perhaps for his dream, or him choosing for her to be in his organization with no choice of her own. Regardless, the Uchiha didn't care because they already had their first assignment.

"Now, suit up. We're leaving."

The two Akatsuki members appeared from a spiraling void on a tall tree branch overlooking a dull, normal looking church.

"Is this the place?" Obito asked and got the confirmation from her with a quick nod. She was no doubt scared of him still but he was too strong for her to do anything about it. She still held loyalty to the Fallen Angels but what he told her back in that dimension had got her thinking. What would happen in a world without conflict and hate; without wars? It was something she could imagine even if she could say it.

"Then let's go. We have much to do, Raynare." He hoped from the tree and she used her wings to fly after him. They had barely moved before a blonde headed girl confronted them, stopping the both of them in their tracks.

"Hey, Raynare! Where have you been?! You didn't get cold feet, did you?!" She asked with semi-cold glare but her voice was a bit playful.

Obito regarded the girl with shrouded eyes. Another Fallen Angel? She was working with a group then. Interesting.

Ray are didn't say a word as she lowered herself to the ground behind Obito. "What is your name, child?"

"C-child!" A furious look crossed her face and a purple spear formed in her hands. "You'll pay for that with death!" She launched at him from the air but Obito only saw the movements in slow motion. He cut through that offense with ease and managed grab ahold of her throat, effectively enabling her from moving.

"I'll deal with you later." he said before putting the girl in a Genjutsu that would knock her out. He let the girl crumble to the ground before continuing on as if the situation hadn't happened at all.

Ray are gulped at the display of power. Even if she was stronger than Mittelt, she knew it wouldn't have been. That easy to defeat her. She was glad she didn't resist him.

"Dammit, he's gone." Kiba; A Knight for the House of Gremory gritted out, letting his sword lower to ground. Issei and Koneko; a rook had just got done fighting another ally of the Fallen Angels; Freed. They had done a pretty good amount of damage before the exorcist had escaped from them via smokescreen.

"We should continue. We need to find Asia after all." Issei said and the both of the other devils nodded before continuing on.

Shorty after, the three had found the room they were looking for and walked inside to see Asia strung up with another Fallen looking at her with a cruel smirk. She was tall with brown eye and long, navy blue hair which obscured one of her eyes.

"Hey, you! Stop right there!" Issei yelled coming to a halt before the scene. She looked back at him with a smirk.

"Hmm, I thought Raynare was supposed to be taking care of you." A spear of light formed in her hand and she glared at the three.

"Of course I'm still here ya' baka!" Freed yelled rushing and clashing against Kiba.

"Tch, where did you come from?" Kiba gritted out.

"You won't be alive long enough to know!" Freed yelled crazily aiming his special gun at the Kiba's head and firing. The attempt missed as Kiba had ducked before kicking the Stray Exorcist away.

Kalawarna was rushing to kill Issei but Koneko stepped in front of him in time to punch the hell out of the Fallen Angel, sending her flying back. Koneko continued after the Fallen Angel as Issei went to go and let Asia down.

"Hey, Asia. Asia, you ok?" He asked after setting her down on the floor.

She nodded slowly but still looked very weak.

"Don't worry I'm going to get you out of here." He was about to touch her shoulder to help pick her up when a spear of light imposed the hand into the wall behind them. "Ahhhh!"

"Not so fast. I'm surprised you forgot about me." Dohnaseek said smirkingly.

"Issei, no." Asia muttered out weakly.

"Heh, we will have her sacred gear. Then you can have her corpse back." He said.

Above them on a platform, Obito and Raynare watch the scene play out. Obito was a bit surprised though. He fully expected for the Raynare to try and betray him first time she had a chance and take the sacred gear to attempt to defeat him. She looked to be itching to do so but it looked like she wouldn't go through with it. He suppose it was due to being frightened by his power.

He had her explain what each Fallen Angel and Exorcist could do and who was the strongest between them. He decide his next member would be someone in this very room. He couldn't use a member of Rias's peerage as it would gain unnecessary attention to himself. And if he already had a Fallen Angel on his side then it would be best to pick up Freed, despite his tendencies. He actually acted a lot like Hidan to be honest.

"Raynare, I can see you itching for battle. Show your allegiance to me and kill all of your allies with the exception of Freed. I've decided he will be joining our cause."

She gave him a surprised look. "But you said your dream was to create peace. How is this supposed to accomplish that?"

"Not everyone can see the bigger picture. You can see it but your loyalty still lie with the Fallen Angels. In order to take that away killing them is a necessity. Regardless, they need to die. Once your superiors see you are missing it won't be long until they find out about my plans. To get rid of that risk their deaths have to happen. For now we need to make it so that you die as well in their eyes. Once my team is full we will behind our agenda."

Obito explained but Raynare still gulped nervously.

"But—"

"Do as I say Raynare. Or I will send you back to there."

Fear popped into her eyes before she bowed her head apologetically. "Yes, Leader-sama." He watched as she landed in the middle of the battle and all eyes fell on her.

Let me see your worth, Raynare.

Her former allies raised eyebrows at her attire and asked where'd she'd been but she said nothing only forming a spear of light in her hand. She could only mutter she was sorry in solace before throwing the spear into the chest of Kalawarna who stood in shock before falling over, dead.

"R-Raynare! What the fuck?! You damn traitor!" Dohnaseek roared rushing her. He slammed into her and they flew into multiple benches. When the dust settled he had his spear of light almost about to kill her but she was able to form another one to counter.

"Is that bitch working for these devils too?" Freed asked but hadn't seen Koneko rushing him until it was too late. She had took advantage of the distraction and slammed her fist deep into his gut, sending him into a wall with tremendous force.

"Koneko-chan," Kiba muttered in surprise. He hadn't seen her either not until she was already in front of the Exorcist.

"She has the same cloak on that the man did that beat her up. Did he make her one of his peerage members?" Issei asked watching the scene unfold as Asia began healing his hand with her sacred gear.

"Are you working with these damn devils!" Dohnaseek gritted out using more of his raw strength to push against her spear.

"You wouldn't understand!" She yelled out and used his strength against him. She moved her body enough to where she would dodge the spear and roll out from underneath him, kicking him away in the process.

She flew up into the air and raised up a single arm. Magic circles appeared around her and began to glow. With a battle cry multiple spear of light flew from the circle and pierced through Dohnaseek, killing him in contact. He landed on the ground roughly in a bloody heap as Raynare lowered herself to the ground, panting. That was her strongest move from the use of magic and it took a lot out of her. Tears began spilling down her cheeks as she looked at the bodies of former comrades. She didn't care for them but she cared that they had been Fallen Angels and that she was the one to kill them.

"Y-you traitor bitch." Freed mutters aiming his gun at the downed Fallen Angel before pulling the trigger.

Before the bullet could reach her, Obito stepped in and grabs the bullet mid-air with ease. "Good job, Raynare. You did well."

She said nothing as she lowered her head and wet tears hit the floor beneath them. Obito bends down and touches her back before pulling her into his right eye. He immediately turns to Freed and uses the Body Flicker to move faster than any of them could see. He grabs the Exorcist's leg and pulls him into the Kamui Dimension before regarding the Devils who all had taken defensive stances.

"You can lower your weapons. I am not here to kill you, nor harm you."

"Then why are you here?" Kiba asked, glaring at him.

Obito looked directly at him, starling the blonde with his red eye. "For peace." Slowly a distortion appeared around the masked man before he disappeared entirely.

"What the hell was that?" Issei asked in both fear and wonder.

Koneko however looked even worse than Issei. "Was that Senjutsu just now?" She muttered to herself.
