Chapter 4

They are so drawn to each other. There was no pause in their conversation. It was natural and even the dullest topic you can think of will still make sense.

And it was not a surprise that the sun has already set without them noticing.

"Would you like to stay for a cup of tea?" Waverly asked. Nicole nods, wanting to spend a little bit more time with Waverly.

They went up the second story porch.

"It's beautiful...." Nicole gasp. The other girl looks at her and saw Nicole staring at the sky full of stars.

"Same as you." words escaped without warning, realizing that she has said it out loud, she quickly covered her mouth.

Nicole slowly turns towards the other girl.

Her smile was gone, her lips slightly part as she moves her face down to Waverly. While doing so, she removes the smaller girl's hand from her lips and traces it with her fingers.

Nicole involuntary bit her own lips, her breathing now controlled the same as the other girl.

Their heart beating louder.

All the tension succumbing to their entity.

Suddenly a loud sound of an incoming vehicle startled the two. Waverly finally waking up from reality pulled away from Nicole. Realizing that it was Wynonna's motorcycle, she stared at Nicole before she dashes down the stairs

"You're late!" she said loudly. Wynonna just looks at her weirdly, confused with her sister's antics.

"You're a bit jumpy, I told you I'll be late," Wynonna said.

"Hey guys, I have to go. Wynonna will do catch up some other time." Nicole said as she descends the stairs. Walking towards the door she stops in front of Waverly, which made the other girl held her breath, not sure of what action Nicole will do now.

"Thank you for the lovely meal. I mean it." she kisses Waverly's cheek and left.

The smaller girl stood by the door, watching Nicole drive away. She held her cheek, still feeling the trace of the girl's lips.

Then she heard her sister calling and asking for food, she shakes her head and shut the door. She watches her sister eat and chat. She appears to be listening but her mind is somewhere else.
