I am going to be the Hokage

I packed up the necessary equipments, and rummaged through the cupboard.

In it, I found Obito's goggles.

According to my memories, we dag out Obito's body from the rubble in which he 'died'. Madara must have saved Obito and replaced him with a Zetsu to fool us.

While these goggles aren't of Obito, since they were broken, Kakashi had bought a similar one.

Sighing, I wore it, and covered the Sharingan side with my headband.

These glasses are made from some sort of plastic, that can't be stabbed by even a kunai.

Who knows what might happen. It's best to protect my eyes.

I looked in the mirror, and well...

It looks ugly.

Well, I will replace it later when I have time with something cooler.

For now, I need to see if this will stir any emotions within that trash.

After packing up, I went to sleep.

"Kakashi, how are you?"

"I am fine now, Guy."

We arrived at the village gate, and Guy was trying so hard to not say anything about me wearing glasses similar to Obito.

Shortly after, Genma and Shisui arrived.

I nodded to Genma, who was getting trained to become Minato-sensei's bodyguard, and then, looked at Shisui.

Just 8 years old and already Chunin, with three-tomoe Sharingan huh? I don't know if he has already awakened Mangekyo Sharingan.

"Umm, good morning senpais!"

"Just call me Kakashi."

"Hmm! I am Kakashi's eternal rival, Might Guy!"

"Genma."

"Alright. Let's head out-"

Suddenly, an ANBU appeared before us.

"Hokage-sama has called you all to the office urgently."

Saying that, he disappeared.

Hmm? Maybe our mission has somewhat changed?

We went to the Hokage Office, only to see Hiruzen and the elders present too. Along with many jonins.

"Kiri has withdrawn, and sent us a peace treaty."

Wait what!?

"Did something happen?"

I asked the question that was on everyone's mind.

"The six-tails Jinchuriki deserted Kiri suddenly. And since Three-tails will take some years to reform, Kiri doesn't have any tailed beast currently.

Moreover, Zabuza killed his own camp and escaped with the Executioner's blade.

Perhaps fearing more desertions, Kiri decided to withdraw."

Is Obito behind this?

While I doubt he is affected by my words from yesterday, which he must have been listening to, maybe he atleast realised that there is a seal in his heart? And probably Rin's death was a plan from Madara?

Well, I can't really be sure.

But it is a good thing.

"You all, your war mission is cancelled. Instead, go help in the rebuilding of the village. Kakashi and his squad, you stay behind, and rest can go."

Everyone sighed in relief due to not being sent to war, and went out of the office. Yet, I could feel that the Uchiha jonins were a bit disappointed.

I can understand their disappointment. Kiri withdrawing in their own would not alleviate Fugaku's reputation as he is the commander there, with a lot of Uchihas.

It could have been a great opportunity to earn merits to try for the position of the Fifth Hokage, but well-

Maybe that was Obito's intention? To not let Uchiha clan gain any good reputation?

This seems more likely.

"Kakashi, what do you think about your current squad?"

Hiruzen asked me.

Oh. So it seems that Danzo is leaving me to keep an eye on Shisui, and maybe even Hiruzen wants to bring Shisui into 'Village's' faction.

"I think Genma will be good with his other two teammates that Minato-sensei selected as his bodyguards.

Guy, me and Shisui. The three-man team is enough."

"Hmm..."

I could have requested a Hyuga, but there are dangers of him/her being associated with ROOT.

"Alright. Except for Kakashi, you all are dismissed. Team Kakashi will start it's work from tomorrow. Today, familiarise yourselves with each other, and be ready for missions from tomorrow. The Land of Fire must be filled with spies right now."

I nodded at Guy, Genma and Shisui, and then started looking back at Hiruzen and the other elders.

Koharu and whatever the name of four-eyes was, were visibly displeased at me ignoring them and looking straight at Hiruzen, not kneeling.

Danzo started speaking.

"Kakashi, do you know who could be behind the attack yesterday-"

"I have already said it before. Either a rogue Uchiha, or someone with enough power and chakra to handle the Sharingan."

Danzo scoffed.

"And not anyone from Uchiha clan? They were very displeased when Minato was chosen as the Hokage, and Fugaku wasn't even considered a candidate."

"Senju and Uchiha clan's founded Konoha. If someone from the Uchiha clan really had that kind of strength, they would have used it against other villages' jinchurikis in the war that ended just a year ago. That would have made that person a candidate for the position of Hokage automatically, since Uchiha clan is currently the strongest clan in the world.

It is illogical to assume that the Uchiha clan did it.

Afterall, only Madara was able to control the Nine-tails before. If someone was as strong as Madara, even Minato-sensei wouldn't stand a chance in becoming the Fourth Hokage."

I was getting tired of being asked the same question over and over.

"Third Hokage, I think you should step down as soon as the situation with Kumo comes to an end. And the other able-bodied elders too. You all have betrayed the Will of Fire by sacrificing the younger generation instead of yourself."

Saying that, I turned around and left, shutting the door loudly.

Even though I appear calm on the outside, would Kakashi really be calm after Minato-sensei died? Shouldn't he have some frustration?

I could practically feel that Danzo must have been smirking on the inside.

For now, it's better to be on the good side of Danzo while building my strength. Atleast he wouldn't target me this way.

I am 14 now, so in almost 4-5 years, I should have the strength to become the Hokage.

Since I am in this world, with Kakashi's body, memories and even feelings combined with mind, I want to prove Obito wrong. That the world isn't trash, he is.

And I will need to have the position of the Hokage to make a real difference.

As for Danzo, he will be the perfect person to be placed under Kotoamatsukami by Shisui, and later killed to calm down the Uchihas.

As for those two useless elders, I am not going to let them cause any trouble as well.

Even though it is troublesome, seeing and knowing the troubles in the present and the future, and not doing anything about it, is frustrating.

Since I know myself, that I will try to save the Uchiha clan, and kill Obito anyway, I should do it with complete dedication.

I went to the cemetery, and stood in front of Obito's grave.

"Obito, I am going to be aiming for your dream. To become the Hokage. I hope you will see it with your Sharingan."

Staying for some minutes, and cleaning the graves of Dad, Minato-sensei, Kushina, Rin, and Obito, I left to meet Guy and Shisui.
