Right when the ride's horn honked outside, LSR's doubt suddenly sprouted.
There was something strange about all of this. He needed to go see a doctor but Zakariah wanted him to come to ink.
Why?
He hated to go against his brother's words but there was something about ink that unsettled him.
Could it be their reputation or he just had this negativity toward the corporation?
Duncan was already up and so was Kate.
"The cab is outside," Kate announced when he did not move from where he sat.
LSR had his face serious and thoughtful. "I'm not going," he announced.
"What?!"
"Why?!"
Duncan and Kate blurted in wonder.
Seriously, he had no specific reason for not wanting to go. He had always had this enmity with ink for making Zakariah who he was now.
Not to mention the news about them flying around.
"I should go see a doctor, not go to ink," he told the two.
Kate was ready to counter him. "Go see a doctor?" she frowned.
"Hmm hmm"
