Chapter 67 - Fighting Rōen

Soon after from a near bush the figure of Peri is seen walking out, of course it was him that used the Doton: Iwadeppō no Jutsu (Earth Release: Rock Gun Technique) to attack Rōen, who in the meantime got up unharmed, but furious, from Peri's jutsu.

But as its focus was on Peri it didn't notice in time Ren next to it, and in the next instant with a fast swing, Ren cut Rōen right forelimb in one stroke, causing the monster to let out a pained roar that was heard shaking all the valley.

Then the wood platypus with Peri on top right on the fedora hat, with unusual agility jumped towards Rōen and with his big palm slapped Rōen's head then grabbed it from the torso and threw Rōen against another mountain, but as Rōen was flying toward the rock, it extended his tentacle and grabbed the big wood platypus and pulled himself towards Peri.

The next few second Rōen and the wood platypus started entangling each other, some time the wood statue would rip off some tentacles from Rōen's back but the next instant they grew back, while Rōen tried to rip the wood statue apart, but it was too solid, and Peri didn't give it time to charge another Cero, the Situation seemed in a stall.

Rōen wasn't able to damage Peri's statue, and all the damage that Peri did recovered in an instant, at least it was so until one of the tentacles was able to exploit a weak point in Peri's statue and was able to pierce inside.

Soon Peri felt the chakra that was inside the wood statue, was draining fast, while Rōen was getting stronger as more time passed, and just as he was unsure of what to do, he hear Ren's voice "Peri, it's enough retreat!" then the surroundings got dark and Ren's voice is heard once again "Bankai, Senbonzakura Kageyoshi (Vibrant Display of a Thousand Cherry Blossoms)".

And within seconds, two rows of a thousand giant blades rise up from the ground. Those thousand swords scatter, and countless flying blades starts moving around as they give the appearance of cherry blossoms flowing swiftly along the wind.

Before Rōen could understand what was going on and distance himself from the now lifeless wooden statue, Ren's voice is heard once again "Gōkei (Mawscape)" and the innumerable blades flowing around, creates a spherical formation, which swirl around Rōen like a cloud.

From the other side we can see Ren's figure with is palm opened in the direction of Rōen, then he said "Farewell" and closed his hand in a fist, and then all the blades flying into Rōen from every possible angle, leaving no blind spots and no possibility of escape. It proceeds to collapse in on itself, obliterating Rōen and the resulting shockwave send Ren and Peri flying a few hundreds meters.

After the shockwave passed, Ren and Peri returned to the battlefield, but what Ren saw there shocked him, in the big crater formed by Gōkei's aftermath, a pale transparent figure was there, it was a little girl with a hole in her chest and a lost expression on her face.

Then as if in autopilot, Ren drew Senbonzakura that was once again in her sealed form, and moved closer to the girl figure, who now noticed him and started trembling, but still couldn't move, but once Ren was near her he said "Do not worry, I won't hurt you" then he tap the hilt of his Zanpakutō against the little girl forehead, leaving an emblem at the point of impact which begins to shine brightly.

The girl proceeds to sink into the ground in a pool of blue light as she is sent to the Pure Lands, and a Jigokucho flies away from their point of departure.

Looking at the flying Jigokucho Ren says "I never thought that I had to use this technique until now, but I must admit that it feel good" then Ren heard Senbonzakura voice 'Congratulation Ren-dono, you have finally done your first Konso (Soul Funeral) now you can be considered a full-fledged Shinigami, I'm so proud of you'

Then Ren ask the question that was in his mind for a while 'Senbonzakura do you think, it is my fault, that Souls and Hollow are becoming more active' ,and after a few second of silence Senbonzakura replies 'Ren-dono from what I know, no matter the universe, everything is in balance, if the power of Shinigami that resides in you tips this balance, it think that the World's Will would once again try to balance this,and the opposite of the Shiningami, is the Hollow, but I do not think that this is a problem, different from Bleach world, here there are the ninja who are able to fight the Hollows and thanks to Kaguya and Hagoromo everyone in this world has chakra and can see them, so do not worry about it and just live your life'

Ren thought about it and then said "Well I have already created the Baransa to do some good and save some characters that I though it was a shame they died, so fuck the plot and just do what it seems right and protect my loved one while enjoying my life and having fun" then he turns to Peri, "Peri let's go back home for some rest then we start once again to tour the world, we still have a year before shit starts and we get really busy with saving an Emo, a Pervet, kill a too many eyed bastard, and hunt down momma boy and master Uchiha manipulator, and some alien with god complex."
