Chapter 166 - Ninja Alliance no Jutsu

Obito looks at Naruto's group and says "It appears that the Kyubi's Chakra has been cut off for now..." then he notices Naruto's hand seal and comments "...Going to use the Kagebushin once again? A forbidden Jutsu in the hands of a fool... will only waste your energy..." Kakashi and the others think the same as they try to dissuade Naruto from using it, while Orochimaru is looking at the scene with a calm smile without saying anything.

Then Obito seeing that Naruto is ignoring their warning and says "A half-assed band of ninja can't even reach a consensus, they're trying to say that even if you increase your number, it'll simply be all bark and no bite, in other words, it's useless... You... You are just another ignorant shinobi pawn... You too... No, everyone here will one day, become like me.".

Hearing that Naruto yells "I'll never become like you!!! I'll say it as many times as I need to... I'm going to become Hokage!!!!!" but as the Juubi charge another Bijuudama, Obito says "Have no fear... If everything goes well... there will not be any ninjutsu that can defy the Infinite Tsukiyomi, and within it, you shall become a Hokage... So...DISAPPEAR".

And as Obito's word fell, the Juubi releases his Bijuudama Beam, but strangely it missed by quite a bit, and the next moment Hinata and Ino land next to Naruto, and soon after many more ninjas come one after another and quickly use a combination of Kirigakure no Jutsu(Hidden In The Mist Technique) and Mushi Jamingu no Jutsu (Insect Jamming Technique) to block Obito and Orochimaru' sight and sense.

At the same time, Sakura and Karin land next to Naruto's group and starts checking on them, and Naruto quickly says "Sakura-chan, Kakashi-sensei first" and soon more and more ninja keeps coming, Darui lands with his unit yelling "First Battalion, Arrived!", followed by Kitsuchi "Second Battalion, Arrived!", after him came Dosu leading Kakashi's unit "Third Battalion, Arrived!", and Shikamaru who took command of Gaara's Unit "Fourth Battalion, Arrived!".

And one of the last to arrive are Mifune's Unit "Same goes for the Fifth Battalion!", Shizune's Unit "The Medical squad is here too!" and C that leads the on-field Sensor Unit "Sensing Squad, Present!", and last but not the least are the Five Kages who are rallying the spirits of the ninja.

Obito uses the Juubi's tail to sweep away the mist and sees the figure of Naruto still in the Kagebushin hand seal pose, with all the Ninja Alliance behind him who then yell "This is no longer a half-assed band...!! Take a good look 'cuz what you have here is the Ninja Alliance Jutsu!!! The most terrifying and awesome Jutsu in ninja history!!!! It's a Jutsu that's gonna kick the Infinite Tsukiyomi's ass! Wrap your useless head around that!!! We'll stop you with this Jutsu!!".

Orochimaru still looks at the situation with nonchalance and says "Kukuku... Ninja Alliance Jutsu... Eh... Your taste in naming is almost as good as your father..." meanwhile, Obito replies "Wrong... You are nothing more than a speed bump... a minor inconvenience... After this war, that Jutsu will crumble and fall apart, and someone from your end will once again attempt what we are doing now... There is no such a thing as a victory in this world, hope... is merely an illusion".

And Naruto once again yells back "I choose to believe otherwise! And that's that!" and Orochimaru comments "This war of words is clearly futile... let's finish this" and as Orochimaru's words fell, the Ninja Alliance made its move under Shikaku's command, who before told Naruto to buy some time for him so that he could think of a plan.

First, all Lightning users from Kumo use the combination of Raiton: Raikōchū (Lightning Release: Lightning Pillar of Light) and Raiton: Reizā Sākasu (Lightning Release: Laser Circus) to temporarily blind Obito, Orochimaru, and the Juubi, then to further confuse them the ninja from Kiri, Konoha, and Suna use a combination of Kirigakure no Jutsu, Mushi Jamingu no Jutsu, and Fūton: Kiryū Ranbu (Fūton: Kiryū Ranbu).

After impairing their vision and senses, the Earth users of the Alliance use the Doton: Chidōkaku (Earth Release: Moving Earth Core) to create a giant hole impairing the Juubi's movement, then the ninja from Iwa use the Yōton: Sekkaigyō no Jutsu (Lava Release: Quicklime Congealing Technique) followed by Kiri's ninja using the Suiton: Suidan no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Bullet Technique) to mix them, and Konoha's ninja using the Katon: Goen no Jutsu (Fire Release: Great Ember Technique) to harden the mixture trapping the Juubi in a concrete prison.

But just as they were about to attack, the Juubi finish accumulating power and retaliate sending everyone flying and at the same time transforming into its second form, now the Juubi took on the shape of an emaciated humanoid with elongated limbs and a twisting neck.

It now possessed visible legs, which it uses along with its right arm to stand, as its left arm was missing from the elbow down, its head was altered greatly, as its eye remained on the front of its head, it grew a single ear on the right side, and its mouth moved to the left side, with a single triangular nostril appearing above it, several horns formed on various parts on its head, two above each side of its face, two beneath its eye, and another below its ear.

As it transformed, the bud-like attachments on its tails detached, revealing extendable tails which ended in humanoid hands, at the same time as the Juubi let out a powerful roar, Orochimaru comments "It seems that controlling the Juubi will get exponentially difficult from this point forward... I think you should use Hashirama's cells to strengthen the connection" and Obito quickly use his Hashirama's cells to once again connect with the Juubi.

Then Orochimaru with a curious gaze says "Now that the Juubi is in this form, would you like to test the Juubi's powers?" and Obito replies "Yeah... Let's give them a glimpse of true despair" and soon after the Juubi releases a huge Bijudama in a random direction that hits the Land of Snow causing a huge explosion that can be seen from here, and Orochimaru comments "It's still unstable... Your control is still a work in progress".

The Juubi keeps rampaging sending two more Bijuudama, one into the sea, and another obliterating a random city, then steading itself he shoots one last Bijuudama.

Meanwhile, back at the Alliance HQ, Ao says "Something doesn't seem right! It's only targeting distant location!" and Shikaku explains "They're showing us that any city they target is within range... We ninja are fighting on the battlefield to protect these people from it... they're trying to shake our morale with this display".

Then Ao exclaims "Thi...This is...! Stay calm and listen to me..." but Shikaku quickly understands and says "It's headed our way, huh..." and while panic was spreading in the group, Inoichi asks "... Shikaku... What now?" and he replies "We do what we have to, until the bitter end... I just came up with a way to stop the Juubi dead in its tracks... Consider it our final mission, connect me to everyone on the battlefield".

Then, back to the battlefield, Obito and Orochimaru on top of the Juubi's head look at the explosion in the distance, and Obito says "That took long enough, with this I crushed the head of the Alliance" and Orochimaru adds "That is a crude way of doing it... But it's effective...".
