The abysmal forest and telepathy

(Platypuses are a danger to themselves and everything around them. The make platypus has lethal poisoning in its mouth and they only use it to watch animals suffer. They would put the animal in its mouth, spit it out, and watch it die. They are huge ass bullies. Platypuses would use their beaks to flip fish out the water and hit it on trees and throw them back in the water before they could drown on air. Just to do the same thing with the same fish the next day. They are petty as hell and have a sixth sense. Platypuses have excellent memory and have been seen chasing down whole as birds because they pooped by it. They never caught it, but they said when ever that bird tried to sleep the platypus would smack the tree with it's take just to wake it up and hopefully kill the kids by making them fall out the tree. A male platypus would have sex with a female during mating season and after that the female would ignore any sexual interactions to nurse the eggs and stay healthy. The males would take this as an offense and beat the female while raping her and would sometimes kill her afterwards and go find another mate.)

I woke up to a sleeping Alice wrapped in my arms with her head in my chest. I didn't fell like actually getting up today, so I squeezed up to Alice some more till she started moving.

"Too tight." Alice groaned. I released her a bit and looked down at her. She was looking back up at me with almost blood shot eyes.

"...good morning." I said after some silence. She looked at me blankly and wiggled out of my arms.

"I got breakfast today right?" She asked. I raised up and nodded.

"Really you were supposed to do lunch." I said and she walked out the room.

"Alice are you pregnant?" I asked casually. Her mood swings are coming at random and even if they are cute, their tiresome.

"W-w-what are you saying?" She could talk properly. My eyes almost came out my head.

"Wait are you really pregnant?" I asked quickly.

"NO!" She yelled. She turned around and started back cooking.

"Then why have you been so moody lately?" I asked taking a sip of coffee. I was leaning against the counter watching her cook.

"I'm not moody. I've been thinking, do we really have to participate in this catastrophe thing? I just want to live my life with you for eternity." She asked with a sigh.

"Well really we don't, but there are upsides to doing so. Like the reward if we complete it. We can go on adventures, and we can always be together through thick and thin better than any other supernatural couple ever has, also who said we can't spend our life with each other.?"

I got behind her while she cooked and pulled her hair back, kissing her cheek.

"We also get cool powers." I said with a smile. Alice giggled.

"That's the main reason, right?" She asked with a smile. I kissed her again then answered.

"With more power, I'll be able to keep you and our future kid safe. You should be happy." I said smiling at her while she laughed and put the food in plates.

"Good answer."

"Today you will be doing your normal training and we'll work on something else. Since I am your mentor for now I as a Druid have to pass a technique on to you. This will be perfect for both of you." Said the Druid.

We came here after breakfast because it's the best place to train and get guidance.

"Proceed like normal." She said and left into the forest.

We separated and started meditating. I needed to strengthen my mentality and see that thing again about his trials.

I sat and meditated then like last time I saw the flame, but it didn't say anything before I saw what looked like a forest and it was covered in a dense shadow.

I could barley see so I switched to infrared vision and looked around. There were multiple heat signatures around me. They seem to not have noticed me and I was relieved.

'So I just need to survive.' I thought. I thought about it nonchalantly, but I have all my senses spread to the limit.

I see a heat signature coming my way and fast. I barley dodged to the right. It was also huge. It was like 20ft tall. I could tell from the shape of the heat that it's a wolf.

I turn into my Mountain lion form and I'm still shorter standing at 17ft. I didn't roar and the only thing that was seen was my eyes that glowed blue with gold flakes that almost consumed it.

I could perfectly see in the dark and it was Indus wolf. It had piercing yellow eyes and red fur. It ran at me at incredible speeds. I waited for it to come and once it was close enough I shot my head at it's throat and bit into it.

I felt the vibration in it's chest like it was about to roar and ripped its throat out. With my jaw strength it was easy, but I was still nervous.

Everyone knows a wolf rolls with a pack and just let one out to test the water. If I'm blitzed by a whole pack then I'll have some problems.

<Alice POV>

I was meditating try to look in on animals around me for at least ten minutes. So far I'm up to eight before my head hurts. I then looked in on Zane and saw those marks on his body were flickering with some sparks.

They also started getting smaller. Though it was slow I could tell. He looked like he was going through something while meditating, because he was sweating like crazy.

I tried soothing him by sending projections of good will to him. He visibly relaxed and his breathing stabilized. I then went back to trying to get it to ten minutes.

<Thirty minutes later>

'I incidentally went past ten to thirty. That's weird though.' I thought. I shrugged it off and took a break from from meditating.

"You can take a dip in the lake over in the west. I cleared it out and made it perfect for baths or skinny dipping, it also relaxes the mind and body. If your hungry feel free to take a drink or two from some animals." Said the Druid out of nowhere.

I nodded and started going west, not before taking a look at Zanes condition. He was sweating again, but he was fine. I then walked a little ways out west and found a beautiful lake. It was clear and was free of any type of bugs or anything like it was keeping them away.

I looked around and saw a snake in a tree. It was a good 10ft long so I made my fangs grow out and my nails elongated. My eyes turned into vertical slits and I felt stronger than before.

Everything was enhanced with this type of form. I called it true vampirfication. I looked at the snake and it seemed scared. I shot up the tree and cut the snake shed off. I grabbed it and drank it's blood dry.

It was a light snack but a good one. I took my clothes off and looked at myself in the water. I did look good. I wonder what type of panties I look better in.

'Bad Alice.' I also noticed my mood swings. I'm not pregnant like he suspects, but I have been felling different thing lately. I think it's a side effect of the blood vial.

'I still have on left, don't I?' I suddenly remembered that I only drank one. I'll save the last one for later.

I then submerged myself in the water.

<Zane POV (before Alice calmed him down)>

I was running in the trees of this abysmal forest. I killed the whole pack of wolves. I obviously didn't come out unscathed and for some reason my healing has been severely cut down.

All the big wounds would remain and slightly heal. I then jumped to another tree and was caught by surprise at the shadow that tackled me.

I've learned some things in the three hours I've been here. The animals are bigger, more aggressive, and stronger than the other ones by huge margins and some of them have abilities.

I have a bite mark around my right front leg that won't heal from a wolf that traveled through a shadow and bit into it. I tripped, but bit his throat off as well.

I'm still in my mountain lion form and was tackled out of nowhere. I then felt the pain of teeth biting down on my shoulder. It was strong and fast.

I was getting wary. It's out a roar of pain and it froze for a second. That was all I needed, I bit it on the neck since it had me pinned.

I yanked its head to the ground and it flipped on it's side. I backed up and saw that it was a 23ft tall black leopard. We both lowered our head and circled each other.

When I sank my teeth in it's neck I barely got through. I started strengthening myself, but couldn't do much because I actually needed a lot of fat in this for so they could support the energy absorption and support all the muscles.

I could only use the minimal amount of fat in this form and I used what I could. I mainly worked on my jaw strength.

He charged at me, but had a an aura to him. It looked like my flames. I tried to use my flames and no tho came out. I dodged to the right and since it charged right at me stopping was hard.

I took advantage of that and skidded to a turn and when it looked in my direction, all it saw was my claws coming down on its face.

He did something I didn't expect. He let my scratch rip his eye out and her lunged at me. I bit into my neck and I immediately started scratching and biting on his vital spots. Mainly focused on his neck and eyes.

He jumped off me and I jumped up. I was bleeding like crazy. My heart was racing, my vision was blurry the all of a sudden, I fell warm, and calm. Like when me and Alice are cuddled up together.

With this calmness I started thinking with three processors in my head and I eat the eye that was on the ground it didn't taste to bad actually.

I used it to heal the bite wound a bit. Most of the bleeding stopped and I looked at the beast in front of me. He was bleeding from his eyes and shoulder so those are weak points.

While I'm analyzing him calmly explain felt offended and shot a stream of black fire to me. I was surprised but dodged it. I ran up to the leopard with my head high.

I then ducked it down and straightened my body out to be more aerodynamic. I used my built up speed and power to launch myself at its shoulder.

I then yanked my head back and ripped off a chunk of its meat. I eat it and strengthened myself more.

My wounds healed and I was stronger. I shot at it again and again basically doing a hit and run tactic. When it chased me I would suddenly turn around and smash into its body making it hit the ground while taking some bites out of it.

Slowly, but surly I was eating it alive. By the time it was dead most of the skin and meat was gone. It was just a skeleton. I eat it completely (besides the dick).

That's how I spent a week here. In this abysmal forest. I fought different animals the whole time and would never be able to sleep. I also fought lots of alphas and found out the more of them I eat the more I grow in power, size, and ranking.

When I was done I was as tall as a blue whale, so around 100 feet.

The trees still towered over me and I wasn't the only one this big. There was one more and that was a lion, but I couldn't fight it because I was suddenly pulled out of that place.

I jumped up off the rock and suddenly fell to my knees, light headed and my body was aching in pain.

I looked at myself and saw some light bite wounds. They were healed and I was keeping that one. It was a bite mark on my shoulder and I say light, but it's actually deep. The teeth were just skinny and sharp so they got through my skin with ease.

I then felt a burning hot pain on my whole right arm. I had tribal markings stretched around my arm. It was cool, so I left it like that and found my shirt reduced so nothing once again.

It then hit me that I was there for a week and looking around Alice might have left. I looked around till I heard a voice from behind me.

"Alice is still here and you've been in the outside world for only three hours." Said the Druid.

"How did you know?" I was curious. How does she always know what I'm thinking.

"I'm about to teach it to you and Alice. Follow me will you." She then lead the way. We were going west. Even though I was in my human form, the animals looked at me with respect, I could fell it.

All of my strength was cut in half in this form, but considering I was just a 100ft beast, I'm still incredibly strong. I smelled Alice from the strawberry sent from her clothes and looked around like a lost puppy.

I haven't seen Alice in a week for me. I was getting lonely in there and sometimes got sneak attacked thinking about Alice to much.

'That's really unhealthy. I think.'

We came upon a lake where Alice was just getting out and looked so relaxed. The glow on her skin under the sunlight. Her skin that's one shade from pale, her dark brown hair that looked like it grew.

All of her vampiric features just hit me like a cannonball to the face. I ran up to her and wrapped her in a tight hug.

"Ouuch, Zane!" Alice yelled. I released her knowing that I might have over did it.

I looked at her apologetically and she rubbed her arms. I think they were sore from the huge. I slowly walked over and Alice looked at me pouting.

I smiled. Relieved that she wasn't pissed. I hugged her very lightly this time and stayed like that for a minute.

"Sorry about earlier. For me I haven't seen you in a week, so I was anxious." I said. Alice started putting on her clothes and looked surprised.

"A week. We've only been here for about five hours." She said. I explained to her about what happened and she was concerned and started checking my body.

"I'm happy to see you too, but control your strength. I thought I would break." She reprimanded me.

I hugged her again and started kissing her softly till I heard a cough. I had forgotten she was here.

"Let's go, my personal lesson for you will be how to communicate through your mind or telepathy." She said walking away. We followed after her and was happy about this. We could talk about so much without people or things knowing.
