I put my index finger to my lips, signaling everyone to pause.
Some rustling noises emitted from the neighboring shop.
And then it stopped.
Nothing happened next.
The neighbor Rikki said he was a light sleeper; the noises made when the bricks collapsed might have woken him up.
Seeing that he didn't come over, we figured he had gone back to sleep.
Got to be more careful now, I told myself.
I continued to dig out the debris of the bricks and soil that had collapsed.
With the debris cleared, I crawled through the tunnel to the main tomb chamber.
Reaching the main tomb chamber, it was just big enough for me to stand.
The coffin was in the middle, with lots of urns and chests by the side.
I opened the urns and there were copper coins looped together by a string.
By now the copper coins had stuck together due to oxidation.
