My School Life

Wally's morning routine is similar to other people's. Waking up and eating breakfast except taking a shower, brushing teeth, and exercising. He's not a human. He's an android.

Due to his artificial stomach and functionality, food and drink is necessary for energy. Scrambled eggs with bacon and coffee is his breakfast. Wally has every human senses. Sight. Hearing. Smell. Taste, and touch.

He understands why human loves food so much, especially the 5 star dishes. He can eat it as much as he wants to without getting any health issues.

He pulled up the clock in his vision before putting the dishes away and walked out of his apartment. Wally went to a public high school instead of a private high school.

Private high school possessed loads of rich students from rich families that may involve with businesses or other occupations. He doesn't want to attract too much attention, especially if that family is working on weapons for the government.

Public high school is more diverse and anyone from any social class can go there. He highly doubt a rich family would go to a public high school where there's more situations happening everywhere.

Wally arrived at the train station and waited for the train that's away from five minutes according to the time. He observed his surroundings without turning his head. Instead, viewing them from the cameras.

There were a couple of people who were going to work, but no other students since they don't live this far and would not take the train. It's very uncommon for students to take the train here in this country.

The train arrived and Wally didn't hesitate to enter the train while showing his train pass to the transit police officer as he approves it before start walking around in the train. Wally stared out of the window as the train left the station to his destination, which is a mile walk from the train station where he got off.

Alexandrite High School.

A school that overlooks the city with cherry blossom trees and wisteria trees in the campus. In fact, the city is named Alexandrite due to the colorful trees around the city during the day and night.

Wally entered through the main entrance and headed to his first period class while ignoring energetic students who were making out with their love ones or having a sparring match or playing catch. It's a very normal public high school where students don't care what's around them.

He dodge all the upcoming obstacles without hesitation nor looking at it and finally arrive to his destination. He ignored the students rushing to classes to avoid being late and the school bell while looking through the text book at the front seat of the classroom in the middle row.

"All right," the male teacher walked into the classroom. "I hope there are no students being late to my class because we're starting a very important topic that's going to last half of this semester."

As soon as he said that, there were a few students coming into class after the bell rung. He look at him in disappointment and told them to be on time as the students ignore him and proceed to their seats.

"Today, you guys will be learning a war that changes the world thirteen years ago called World War 13 dubbed as the Last War by fair amount of people in the government."

Like many other world wars, World War 13 involved many countries into war. However, this war is similar to World War 2. A tyrant leader, threatening, manipulating his allies into war to get what they want. Anybody who refuses their order will be executed.

Known as the deadliest war in human history with many countries on both sides fighting against each other. Resulting a rough estimate of 5.8 billion deaths out of 12 billion people in the world. A lot of citizens who haven't experience war became new people with the minimum age of fifteen to enter the military.

A war that lasted two decades until it quickly ended out of the blue. Many historians, news reporters, and some civilians wanted to know what ended the war so quickly, but the government from every country remained silent.

"Hey, could you pass my eraser on the floor in front of you?" A female student whispered, tapping Wally's shoulder. It was the girl he rescued from yesterday. Wally grabbed the eraser while ignoring her stares.

"There you go" he whispered. He turned his attention to the teacher and didn't bother the girl's stare behind his back.

The class spent the majority of the time on the subject. Wally knew how the war started and ended it. It's strange for an android to be curious. He wanted to know if his teacher is going to cover majority of the events in the war. He closed his eyes and looked through his planning in his teacher's computer.

Turns out, he will be covering most of the events.

"Hey Calista, you've been staring at him for almost five minutes." Wally returned to his prospective and leaned his head to the side to listen.

"Ah, sorry. It's just...never mind."

"Ohhh, I think she has a crush~"

"Settle down, you two!" Calista's friends zipped their mouths after their teacher shouted at them. Wally didn't bother and continue listening to the teacher.

Meanwhile, the girl named Calista was looking down at her desk, blushing from what her friends stated. It's embarrassing to have friends to tease regardless if it's misunderstood or not. She stared at Wally's back of his head for solid minute and realized that his skin was shiny as the sun rays entered the classroom.

She shook her head and stared at him again, sorting her thoughts out.

'Yeah, he's the one from last night when I asked for his phone.'

During that night, Calista had her friends to sleep over at her house and was on her way to grab food and drinks. However, that ended up her being held hostage by an armed robber.

She was still recovering from that traumatic experience, but was glad that her friends keeping her mood up.

Calista smiled as she gaze at Wally, thinking that she should thank him for lending his phone to her.
